Chapter 183: Chapter 183: Burn, Burn Everything
"Tsk, tsk. So he’s just one of those types who relies on their Bloodline for Power."
"Trying to outmuscle an Elemental Creature—an Earth Elemental Creature, no less. It’s like he doesn’t even have a brain."
Andre hovered in the sky, looking down at Duoduo Fire as he staggered to his feet, dazed. A mocking smile crept onto Andre’s face.
Generally, in the Endless Star Realm, the physical limitations of most races prevent them from unleashing their full Power.
But Elemental Creatures and certain metallic races were different. Their Power wasn’t constrained by their bodies, allowing them to unleash its full explosive potential.
Among these races, Earth Elemental Creatures possessed the greatest strength of all.
The famous Behemoth is a type of Earth Elemental Creature, with Power that ranks among the top three in the entire Endless Star Realm.
And while Potato’s Power couldn’t compare to a Behemoth’s, it was still far beyond what someone like Duoduo Fire, who relied on enhancements from his Bloodline Power, could ever hope to match.
Besides, after so many years of being nurtured by Andre, Potato had grown from its juvenile stage to adolescence—a period of rapid Power growth.
He had just summoned Potato to deal with Duoduo Fire precisely because Potato was stronger.
When Power clashes with Power, the greater Power wins.
What he hadn’t expected, however, was for Duoduo Fire to be sent flying by a single slap from Potato.
’I really didn’t see that coming.’
As the mocking smile spread across Andre’s face, Duoduo Wood stared back at him, a flicker of despair in his eyes.
His life, until now, had been one of smooth sailing.
Even during a beast tide, he could always rely on his own Power and the Divine Arts of his Bloodline to eliminate the leading Magical Beasts.
But before Andre, this visitor from the Outer World, all of that meant nothing.
Again and again, Andre had knocked him from the sky to the ground.
It was a reality Duoduo Wood found hard to accept, but it also forced him to recognize the immense gap between himself and Andre.
But to protect his people and ensure the continuation of his race...
Duoduo Wood made a decision. He would use the forbidden Divine Art of his Bloodline—a technique that granted immense Power by burning one’s own life away.
Once used, this Divine Art was irreversible.
Duoduo Wood never wanted to use this Divine Art, but he had no other choice. Andre’s strength was simply too overwhelming.
Now, his only option was to use this trump card to slay Andre.
That way, his father and his people might be able to claim Andre’s possessions and use them to make their kingdom stronger.
"GRAAAGH!" Duoduo Wood’s roar instantly caught Andre’s attention.
Then, with a look of grim resolve, Duoduo Wood thrust the spear through his own heart, igniting his Bloodline.
His entire form swelled during the process, eventually matching Andre’s own size.
At the same time, the burning Bloodline Power erupted from Duoduo Wood’s body, sheathing him in an aura of blood-red flames.
"No!" Duoduo Fire screamed, his eyes widening in horror as he watched Duoduo Wood.
Agony tore through Duoduo Fire’s heart. He knew exactly what his son—his strongest son—was doing.
It was the Divine Art of burning one’s Bloodline to return to the Ancestral God.
Once used, Duoduo Wood would become a part of the Ancestral God, never to awaken again.
It was because he knew this that Duoduo Fire desperately wanted to stop him.
But Duoduo Wood continued to drive the spear through his own body, drawing forth even greater Power.
’So he’s putting his life on the line,’ Andre thought, watching Duoduo Wood with a flash of surprise.
’It’s been barely any time at all, and he’s already willing to fight to the death?’
Not even ten minutes had passed since the fight began.
"Hah, a brute will always be a brute. You want to fight me to the death? Fine. But you’re not qualified."
Andre shook his head as he watched Duoduo Wood’s aura surge wildly.
Duoduo Wood’s aura was now approaching the level of the Three-Pupiled People he had once encountered.
In other words, under the effects of this forbidden Divine Art, Duoduo Wood’s Realm was rapidly approaching that of a Level 3 Wizard.
But Andre wasn’t about to give him that chance. He recalled the Gale Gate and summoned the Ten Thousand Laws Wheel.
"That last Divine Punishment was just a first attempt. I only used my body’s inherent Divine Power."
"Now, it’s time for the world to witness a complete Divine Punishment."
Andre cradled the Ten Thousand Laws Wheel in his palm, continuously pouring Chaos Magic Power into it.
Hearing Andre’s words, Duoduo Wood immediately sensed the danger.
In an instant, he drove the spear completely through his heart.
The moment the spear passed completely through Duoduo Wood’s heart, several figures materialized behind him.
These were the figures of the Multi-Armed Race People—the kings of previous generations—who had forged this very spear using their Bloodline Power.
"Today, armed with the Power of my ancestors, I will strike you down!"
Duoduo Wood glared at Andre, having now used his own Bloodline to fully awaken the Power within his spear.
In that instant, his Power broke through, reaching the level of a Level 3 Wizard.
But Andre was completely unfazed by an expert of this level.
To him, this was nothing more than a spent force. It was doubtful he could even withstand a single blow from the Divine Punishment.
"Then let’s put that to the test! Divine Punishment!"
Andre spun the Ten Thousand Laws Wheel in his hand. A Golden Light flashed in his eyes as streaks of golden lightning began to arc across the wheel’s surface.
The golden lightning then twisted together, coalescing into a single bolt of Divine Thunder that shot straight toward Duoduo Wood.
Seeing the Divine Thunder descend, Duoduo Wood didn’t dare to be careless. He planted his feet, twisted his torso, and unleashed his Power to its absolute maximum.
"Bloodkill, break!" Duoduo Wood roared, thrusting his spear upward to meet the Divine Thunder head-on.
For a moment, it even looked as if he might hold the Divine Thunder back.
Watching Duoduo Wood, Andre took a deep breath and activated his Divine Arts.
Before, he had only used his Talent, Divine Punishment. Now, he activated two Divine Arts: Divine Power and Thunder.
The complete version of Divine Punishment—Andre’s most powerful attack, the strongest Divine Art from another world—was now unleashed.
In an instant, the golden Divine Thunder swelled to several times its original size, nearly crushing Duoduo Wood and forcing him to his knees.
But Duoduo Wood had already burned through his Bloodline Power; now, he was burning his own physical body.
This was the most powerful moment of his entire life. He would not surrender.
"GRAAAGH!" As the blood-red flames erupted into a shockwave of bloody qi, Duoduo Wood actually managed to hold back the Divine Thunder.
"HRAAGH! Visitor from the Outer World, I will make you pay!"
The golden Divine Thunder collided with the spear, which was now wreathed in shockwaves of blood-red qi.
An incredibly powerful shockwave erupted from the impact, instantly obliterating all the surrounding buildings and turning them to dust.
