Chapter 189: Chapter 189: Second Expeditionary Corps
To maximize the Potion’s effect, the ideal place to release it was into the water supply.
Three months later, all of the Potions had been deployed.
Eighteen full crates of Idiot Potion, all used up.
But relative to the territory of the six Multi-Brain Race nations, this was still a very small amount.
However, this was precisely the result Andre and his team wanted.
They were still planning to take the Multi-Brain Race under their control as a servant race.
Too much Idiot Potion would only lower the value of the Multi-Brain Race.
A little over a month later, the Multi-Brain Race’s pace of development did indeed begin to change.
Previously, all sorts of new inventions were constantly being created by the geniuses among the Multi-Brain Race.
But now, the rate of new inventions had dropped by a full ten percent. And that ten percent was not to be underestimated.
It had only been a little over a month, and it had already dropped by ten percent.
If this continued for a few more months, the development of the Multi-Brain Race would slow even further.
But that wasn’t what Andre and his team wanted.
The Idiot Potion they possessed was extremely potent.
If they used it continuously, it wouldn’t be long before the most intelligent of the Multi-Body Race, the Multi-Brain Race, became the most foolish.
And that was a result they definitely did not want.
And so, Andre and his team continued to secretly slow the development of the Multi-Brain Race for a full year.
Then, a spatial fluctuation was detected by their Star Realm Battleships.
"The Second Expeditionary Corps? They’re here already?"
Andre looked out from the Morning Sky, then ordered the ship to head toward the source of the spatial fluctuation.
The others did the same. Soon, the six Star Realm Battleships had converged and were heading toward the area of the fluctuation.
"A War Mother Ship... The academy actually sent one of these out? And to our world, of all places?"
When Andre and the others arrived at the source of the spatial fluctuation, all six of them were utterly dumbfounded.
An impossibly massive battleship was slowly passing through a spatial wormhole.
Surrounding the wormhole, countless bolts of blood-red lightning struck at the rift and the ship, trying to force the wormhole closed.
But no matter how the lightning struck, the battleship continued its passage through the wormhole, treating the bolts as if they were nothing.
Soon, the entire battleship had passed through the wormhole into this Otherworld, coming to a slow stop before the six Star Realm Battleships.
"That’s a War Mother Ship! It’s powerful enough to rival a Moonlight Great Mage!"
Piedra stared at the warship before them in astonishment. He had been at the academy for several hundred years.
Yet in all his memory, a War Mother Ship had never once been deployed.
But this time, the academy had actually sent one out.
There were, after all, only twelve War Mother Ships in the entire academy.
Six of them stood guard over the academy’s six most important worlds.
The remaining six roamed the Star Realm, intercepting cosmic calamities that could potentially harm the worlds and preventing them from causing disasters.
And now, the academy had actually pulled one of those ships from its duties.
Piedra immediately glanced at the Morning Sky, where Andre was, then shook his head.
’Andre’s status is special, yes, but it’s not so special that his grandmaster would deploy a War Mother Ship for him.’
’So, something serious must have happened in one of the other worlds.’
’But if something truly serious happened in another world, why would the War Mother Ship come here?’
For a moment, Piedra couldn’t think of any reason for a War Mother Ship to descend upon this world.
While everyone was still reeling in surprise, the front of the massive ship slowly opened. One by one, Star Realm Battleships flew out from the spatial void within the War Mother Ship and surrounded Andre and his fleet.
Then, the War Mother Ship’s Witch Brain Core forcibly seized control of Andre’s fleet.
"Who are you? What do you want?"
Andre’s expression was grim as he watched a projection materialize in the Central Control Room.
Soon, two figures appeared in the projection.
"And you are...?" Andre stared at the two projections, his brow furrowed.
He was certain he had never seen these two people before.
"Do not resist," the man in the projection said to Andre.
A beam of light then shot out from the War Mother Ship, enveloping the Morning Sky. It pulled Andre from his ship and transported him into the War Mother Ship.
Soon, led by guards, Andre arrived at the Central Control Room of the War Mother Ship.
Unlike the Central Control Room of the Morning Sky, the War Mother Ship’s control room was bustling with over a hundred people, all constantly using the various Witchcraft Artifacts aboard the ship to scan this Otherworld.
When Andre entered the Central Control Room, the two people he had just seen in the projection were there, smiling at him.
"And you are...?" Andre asked, a hint of confusion in his eyes.
"Right, we haven’t introduced ourselves. I am Lake, a disciple of Leon. Leon is your master Radak’s senior brother."
"I am Alice, a disciple of Yekaterina. Yekaterina is Radak’s senior sister."
The two of them looked at Andre and introduced themselves one after the other.
"So, that makes the two of you my senior brother and senior sister."
Andre stared at the two of them, his eyes wide.
He never expected that the people in charge of this War Mother Ship would be his own senior brother and sister.
"That’s right. You can call us that," Alice said, looking at Andre and nodding.
"But why did the academy send a War Mother Ship here?"
Andre asked his senior brother and sister. He couldn’t believe the War Mother Ship had come to this Otherworld because of him.
When Andre asked this question, the expressions on Lake and Alice’s faces grew strange.
"It couldn’t be because of me, could it?" Andre’s eyes widened. He knew he was a little special, but not so special that the academy would deploy a War Mother Ship for him.
"Why don’t you ask for yourself?" The two of them simultaneously took a step to the side.
A figure appeared before Andre. It was a figure he knew very well.
But this Klein was different from the one he had met before. The Klein he knew had golden hair, but this Klein had red hair.
"I am not him, and yet I am," Red-haired Klein said with a smile.
"An avatar?" Andre blinked, instantly guessing the identity of the red-haired visitor before him.
"Correct. I am an avatar!" Red-haired Klein nodded at Andre, readily admitting his nature.
"Grandmaster, wh-why... why did you come in person?"
Andre was so flustered he was stuttering.
The Otherworld he was in was only a Level 3 World. It wasn’t worth a Red Sun Great Wizard like Klein sending a precious avatar all this way.
’Or... was it because of him?’
"Radak told me about your Path of Truth," Red-haired Klein said with a smile, revealing his reason. "So, I wanted to see for myself just how different the path you walk truly is."
