Chapter 232: Chapter 234: Harvest

"The Giant Snake’s Nest is flooded?"

Andre’s brow furrowed. His body began to glow, and then an intense light erupted from him, instantly illuminating most of the tunnel.

The glare was so bright Karina couldn’t open her eyes, but then she heard the sound of water growing clearer and clearer.

"The Giant Snake’s Nest is really flooded? How is that possible?"

Karina looked ahead, deeply skeptical.

But the sight that met her eyes next made them widen in shock.

Less than a thousand meters ahead in the tunnel, water was churning violently.

"Could it be? Did the Giant Snakes hit an underground water source while they were digging their tunnels?"

Karina voiced the most likely suspicion.

"That’s possible," Andre replied, "but it’s only been a few days. What kind of water source could flood the tunnels and nest the Giant Snakes dug out?"

After speaking, Andre mounted Potato’s back and patted the bear’s neck.

Potato then carried Andre off at a run.

"Hey!" Karina watched the man and his bear, then helplessly closed her open mouth.

She had thought she might be able to hitch a ride on Potato, but it seemed she’d have to rely on herself after all.

Karina activated her Multiple Wings of the Wind and followed.

When they reached the water’s edge, the two of them stopped and stared at the tunnel before them.

The passage was now completely submerged.

"How much water would it take to flood this entire tunnel!"

Andre dismounted from Potato, gazing at the scene in shock.

He had estimated the distance between the Giant Snake’s Nest and the Tomb of the Giant Elephant when he recalled the Ten Thousand Laws Wheel. It was over ten kilometers.

Of that long tunnel, only a little over a thousand meters remained unflooded. It was hard to imagine just how much water there was.

"Could the Giant Elephants have done this?" Karina landed, staring at the pitch-black surface of the water.

Although the light from Andre’s body illuminated the entire tunnel, it was constantly refracted once it entered the water.

As a result, the light from his body didn’t penetrate very far into the depths.

How many Giant Elephants would it take, using Witchcraft, to fill the Giant Snake’s Nest with this much water?

Besides, would the Giant Snakes really tolerate the Giant Elephants flooding their territory just like that?

A flicker of doubt crossed Andre’s eyes. He then took down the newly reforged Ten Thousand Laws Wheel and tossed it into the water.

Immediately, the surface of the water began to freeze over.

"Let’s go take a look." Andre looked at the ice. With a firm step, he created a fissure that split the newly frozen expanse.

Andre descended into the fissure and turned to look at Karina.

"We’re just going in like this?"

Karina looked at Andre, hesitant to enter.

"What other choice do we have? If we don’t go in, how will we ever know what’s happening inside!"

With that, Andre turned and continued walking deeper into the passage.

With every step he took, the Ten Thousand Laws Wheel ahead of him froze the water in his path.

The deeper he went, the more of the Ten Thousand Laws Wheel’s Chaos Magic Power he felt being consumed.

This was a clear indication of the immense volume of water below.

’Such high water pressure... Could it really be that the Giant Elephants flooded the Giant Snake’s Nest? But would that one Giant Snake allow it?’

Andre thought of the Giant Snake that had frozen all the Black Water. A trace of doubt flickered in his eyes as he continued his descent down the tunnel.

He walked like this for more than three hours.

Over three hours later, Andre stared into the pitch-dark Giant Snake’s Nest. He snapped his fingers, and the Ten Thousand Laws Wheel instantly burst with light, illuminating the entire nest.

Because of the water, many things were difficult for Andre to see clearly.

But what he could make out was enough to leave him utterly baffled.

"What happened here?" Andre surveyed the scene. The Giant Snake’s Nest was completely submerged, and not a single Giant Snake was to be seen in the water.

Andre walked forward a short distance, looked down at the soil, and bent over to grab a handful.

’It’s moist, but the soil and rock deeper down show no signs of water. That means the water hasn’t been here for long.’

’Could the Giant Elephants really have flooded the Giant Snake’s Nest?’

Andre recalled what Karina had said, a flash of doubt in his eyes. But then he remembered why he and Karina had come to the Giant Snake’s Nest in the first place.

His face instantly darkened, his expression becoming thunderous.

They were here to steal Snake Eggs, but now the Giant Snake’s Nest was completely flooded. Where were they supposed to find any eggs to steal?

"What’s the situation?" Just then, Karina caught up from behind and looked at Andre.

"Everything here has been flooded."

Andre gestured around them. Karina walked over, her eyes scanning the surrounding water.

When she saw the full extent of the situation, Karina’s expression turned exceptionally grim.

"What in the world is going on?"

Karina couldn’t make sense of the scene before them either.

"You’re asking me? Who am I supposed to ask!"

Andre shook his head, looking at the sight before him.

"So, are we still going to look?" Karina asked Andre.

"If we don’t, then we came here for nothing, didn’t we?"

"Still, this could be a good thing for us."

"The Giant Snakes have left the Giant Snake’s Nest, which means the danger is greatly reduced."

"What we need to do now is find the Snake Eggs the Giant Snakes left behind!"

After saying this, Andre waded into the water. He then enveloped himself with the Water Dragon Technique and began to swim around the Giant Snake’s Nest.

Karina sighed helplessly, then followed Andre’s lead, surrounding herself with the Water Dragon Technique to move through the water.

Soon, the two of them arrived at a snake burrow.

Upon entering the burrow, a smile appeared on Andre’s face as he looked at the Snake Eggs before him. But then he opened his Eye of Truth, and his smile immediately vanished, replaced by a dark look.

These Snake Eggs had clearly been laid by a mother snake not long ago.

Ordinarily, that wouldn’t be a problem. But now, with the entire nest flooded, the eggs were submerged. Some of them had already died.

Andre quickly collected the eggs and continued swimming through the water.

"Find anything?" Karina asked Andre with a hand gesture. Andre nodded.

Seeing his response, a smile finally broke out on Karina’s face, and she began to swim around the nest as well.

Just then, a hand silently came to rest on Andre’s back.

Andre threw a backhand punch, but it was caught with ease.

"Grandmaster?" Andre stared in shock at the person who had caught his punch, his eyes wide with astonishment.

Red-haired Klein looked at Andre and shook his head. Then, with a mere stretch of his hand, all the water in the Giant Snake’s Nest and the adjacent tunnels shot out through the passage above, erupting like a massive fountain.
