Wizard: My Skills Can Infinitely Break Through
Chapter 409 - 320: Fusing Witchcraft, Order Divine BodyThis was also an ascension of the Purification Rule, an absolute counter to the Abyss.
Any Abyssal Energy that came close would be automatically dissolved.
’I’ve been able to purify the Abyss for a long time. I wonder if I can...?’
Suddenly, Ian thought of his Meditation Method, the Starry Sky Festival.
During his first Meditation, his spirit had merged with the Void, allowing the Abyssal Soul Contract to resonate and connect with a sliver of the Abyss’s Will.
And so began the long process of drawing in and purifying that Will.
’Now... I can do more, and do it better.’
With a flicker of his thought, Ian slowly activated the Starry Sky Festival.
After a moment, the dormant Abyssal Soul Contract trembled slightly.
Then, a familiar, faint "connection" spread out from the Soul Contract, as if trying to link with some distant, lofty existence.
At the same time, he "saw" the Will of the Abyss being drawn in—black, viscous, and filled with Chaos and madness.
His panel vibrated silently.
"Link?"
In the past, he would have had the panel perform the Purification immediately after linking.
Now, he would attempt to take active control.
’I have the best firewall anyway... Link me.’
From within the Abyssal Soul Contract, an invisible thread seemed to pierce through the grand star formation of his Sea of Spirit and plunge into the depths of the Void.
Suddenly, from the other end of the thread, a stream of information surged forth—cold, viscous, and carrying countless mad whispers.
Ian’s mind tensed. Under his mental control, the Power of Order Stars transformed into a pale golden vortex.
At the same time, he activated his panel, and another, silver vortex instantly appeared.
The two vortexes, one gold and one silver, spun slowly, devouring the incoming Will of the Abyss bit by bit.
He didn’t purify it completely. Instead, he separated a minuscule sliver to enter the golden vortex.
But even this sliver put an extreme strain on his Power of Order Stars.
When the last drop of the information stream vanished, Ian let out a long breath.
’Whew! It’s still a bit of a struggle right now.’
Looking at the golden ball of light before him, a sharp glint flashed in Ian’s eyes.
’This ability... will definitely be incredibly useful at a critical moment.’
Having dealt with the Purification Rule, the next step was the third: integrating the Time Rule.
’The Time Rule... the most mysterious and the most difficult to control.’
Ian’s focus shifted to the outermost, transparent Star Orbit, from which the Power of Time spread like a thin mist.
Transparent and colorless, it nevertheless made everything around it slow down.
The Power of Time was injected into the core of his True Form, fusing with the Gravity Skeleton and the essence of Purification.
With but a thought, he could use Acceleration to make his mind race and his movements swifter.
He could also decelerate, trapping approaching enemies in a "slow-motion" mire.
’Time to see how it works.’
With a flicker of his thought, the flow of time within the core of his True Form suddenly accelerated threefold.
Everything around him instantly seemed to slow down.
Gaga was squatting nearby, and the motion of its blink was stretched into a slow-motion shot.
The arc of its rising wings was so clear he could see the flutter of every single feather.
Three seconds later, Ian deactivated the Acceleration, and everything returned to normal.
Gaga tilted its head, its silver, heterochromatic eyes filled with confusion.
"Just now... something felt a little weird, gaga?"
Ian pretended not to hear and continued perfecting his True Form.
’The final step is to fuse all my Witchcraft.’
Ian’s mind swept over the Witchcraft Models in his Sea of Spirit.
First was the Frost Ash Beam.
It could manifest in both ice and fire forms, or it could form a composite, pale-purple spiral whip.
This Witchcraft had not yet reached the level of touching a Rule, so the fusion was significantly faster.
Ian fused it into the hands of his True Form, and a pale-purple spiral pattern appeared on each palm.
The pattern extended, transforming into a faint, ethereal whip.
The whip could split into its dual ice and fire forms, or it could remain a single, spiraling entity.
Next, the special effect Entropy Change Domain was fused into the Star Orbit, becoming an aura around the True Form.
Any enemy enveloped by the aura would be simultaneously attacked by ice and fire, accelerating the imbalance of their Energy Structure.
’Next up is the recently Limit-Broken Melting Furnace Body Refining Technique and its new "Furnace" special effect.’
Ian fused it into the skin of his True Form.
Fine, blood-red lines appeared on the surface of the True Form.
The lines pulsed like a breath, flickering in and out of sight. With each pulse, they exuded terrifying Devouring properties.
When the "Furnace" special effect was active, it could dissolve and absorb an opponent’s Witchcraft attacks.
’Hmm, the True Form still needs some clothes.’
With a flicker of his thought, a transparent Crystal Wall covered the surface of the True Form.
Three hundred and sixty-five Floating Crystal Guards were studded across the Crystal Wall like diamonds.
They could perform Reorganization, disperse, and attack at any moment, like a living suit of armor.
For the final piece, his core Meditation Method, the Starry Sky Festival, Ian transformed it into the brain of the True Form.
Inside the True Form’s head, a miniature Star Map appeared.
The Star Map slowly rotated, guiding the Power of the Void Stars to provide a continuous stream of Energy for the True Form.
At last, the fusion of all his Witchcraft was complete.
Ian slowly opened his eyes. Deep within his pupils, silver, gold, and transparent light swirled.
He raised his right hand, and the pale-purple spiral pattern on his palm lit up.
A faint, ethereal whip extended from his palm.
On the whip’s surface, the twin colors of ice and fire intertwined, emitting an aura that was simultaneously frigid and searing.
With a flicker of his thought, the whip dissipated, and a pale-purple aura appeared around him.
Within the aura’s range, energy particles in the air began to rapidly disperse, as if siphoned away by an invisible hand.
With another mental command, the transparent Crystal Wall Cloak materialized.
Three hundred and sixty-five Floating Crystal Guards were studded upon it like diamonds, twinkling faintly.
On the surface of the True Form’s skin, the Furnace patterns pulsed, and the surrounding air distorted slightly.
Inside its head, the Star Map spun, drawing in the Power of the Void Stars and injecting it into the True Form.
In his Sea of Spirit, three rings of Star Orbits circled the True Form: Gravity warped space, Purification dissolved the Abyss.
The altered flow of Time made the True Form seem as if it existed in another dimension.
Ian looked at his hands, his heart thrumming with excitement.
Although he couldn’t manifest the True Form yet, the fusion was complete. He just had to wait for his physical body to undergo Elementalization.
An Elemental True Form that was an extreme counter to the Abyss and could shift between the corporeal and incorporeal.
’I think I’ll call it... the Order Divine Body.’
He silently sounded out the name.
This was what he had prepared for himself... his Level Three True Form.
With a flicker of Ian’s thought, the True Form dissipated, reverting to the three rings of Star Orbits and returning to his Sea of Spirit.
’Whew... Fusing the Divine Body actually took three days.’
He stood up and walked over to a map in the corner of the Laboratory.
The map was spread out on a stone table.
East City was located in the center, surrounded by marked mountains, rivers, and stretches of Wilderness.
Ian’s finger moved slowly, finally landing on an uninhabited mountain valley, eight thousand li from the edge of East City.
The map was marked with "Rift Valley," with a small note beside it: Turbulent Energy, rarely frequented.
’That place... is perfect for my breakthrough,’ Ian muttered to himself.
’The commotion from breaking through to Level Three and the descent of the World Will is too great; it would alert everyone.’
He needed a place that was absolutely quiet and absolutely secret.
This nameless Rift Valley met all the conditions.
The turbulent Energy provided a natural shield against detection, it was rarely frequented, so he wouldn’t be disturbed.
And it was far enough away that even if he caused a disturbance, word of it wouldn’t reach East City.
Ian turned and began to pack, taking all of his Potions with him.
The Water of Balance, the Earth Tyrant Potion, the Purification Potion...
He also packed some spare materials, leaving nothing behind as he stored everything in his Dimensional Ring.
He checked the Laboratory one last time to make sure he hadn’t missed anything.
Finally, he left a message for Aidele in his Secret Magic Mark.
He looked at Gaga, who was standing guard outside the Witch Array. "Come on, we’re taking a long trip."
Gaga performed a Shadow Shuttling and landed on Ian’s shoulder, its silver, heterochromatic eyes full of excitement.
"Ian, are we going on another adventure?"
The little one’s voice was full of cheer. "Are we going to kill Collins?"
Ian rubbed its head, a resigned look in his eyes.
"Not yet. When I’m stronger, we’ll go settle the score with him."
"Are we coming back, then, gaga?"
"Of course. We’ll be back soon."
The man and the bird walked out from the third basement level and reached the ground floor.
Ian pushed open the door. Outside, the night was thick.
A damp, cold wind gusted in from the depths of the lane.
He glanced back one last time at No. 7 Wisteria Lane, then silently activated his Invisibility Technique.
His figure gradually faded, melting into the night as he initiated Phase Shifting.
He took a single step and vanished, reappearing on a small hill outside the city.
The night wind howled, and the jagged shadows of the trees danced wildly.
Ian didn’t stop; his Phase Witchcraft Tools flickered with a faint light.
His figure flickered through the night, each flash covering dozens of li as he sped toward the nameless Rift Valley.
Gaga crouched on his shoulder, its wings tucked in tightly.
Its small eyes reflected the rapidly receding nightscape.
They showed excitement, anticipation, and a barely perceptible trace of nervousness.
It knew that after this departure, when they returned...
Everything would be different.
