The casting unit on the Flame Spirit’s side constantly redirected their firepower onto the Giant Divine Soldier.

This was a Giant Divine Soldier that hadn’t employed the True Demon Descent trait, yet already sufficient to deal with the Level 2 Peak Flame Spirit in front of it.

The Giant Divine Soldier’s overwhelming power and extreme speed comprehensively suppressed the Flame Spirit.

With Duke’s assistance by its side, the battle concluded swiftly.

After the Giant’s palm tightened abruptly, dark-gold radiance surged from between its fingers, crushing the Flame Spirit’s neck.

Its head drooped powerlessly, limbs ceased to struggle, and the golden flames gradually extinguished.

Duke withdrew his hand and turned to look toward the other battlefields.

Leon was still entangled with a Flame Spirit on the left flank, Morris’s undead were still entwined with two Flame Spirits on the right, Vera was also in battle.

Behind her, countless thorns gushed from a spatial rift.

These thorns appeared as dark-green wooden vines, with pale golden small flowers blooming on them, luminescent liquid flowing from the stamens.

Those vines surged from the space, enveloping and entangling one Level 2 Flame Spirit.

The thorns’ spikes pierced its scales, not to harm it, but to draw its energy.

The Flame Spirit struggled, roared, burned, and bellowed, but the thorns became tighter and denser, cocooning it into a massive vine cocoon.

Vera’s thorns did not cease, vines extending further, sweeping toward swathes of Flame Spirit troops.

Edmond stood atop the rear tower, documenting movements from each battle zone.

He did not partake in combat; his task was to oversee the entire battlefield, promptly detect anomalies and report the situation.

Reinforcements for the Flame Spirits were heading from the Crimson Ridge, approximately two thousand strong, primarily composed of Flame Warriors, expected to arrive at the battlefield in fifteen minutes.

He relayed this information back to the command post via the communication magic array on the stone tower and conveyed the message to Duke and others.

"The reinforcements will arrive in fifteen minutes," Edmond’s voice transmitted from the badge, "Two thousand, mainly Flame Warriors, no high-level units."

Leon’s holy silver phantom shattered the Flame Spirit’s final layer of scales, the phantom’s fist struck its head, silver-white light burst forth, and the Flame Spirit’s head crumbled to debris.

The battle at Morris’s side also concluded; his Undead Army tightly ensnared the two Flame Spirits on the right flank, with Morris himself making the decisive strike, completely resolving the two Level 2 Peak Flame Spirits.

Duke stood at the feet of the Giant Divine Soldier, the surrounding dark-gold sand stream suddenly expanded.

The sand stream transformed into countless tiny Sand Blades, swarming skyward like locusts sweeping the Flame Spirit’s lines.

Those ordinary Flame Spirits at Level 1 or below had no resistance against the Sand Blades, scales getting shredded, bodies pierced, dark red blood mixed with lava gushing from the wounds, causing them to fall en masse.

The slicing sound of Sand Blades was sharp and dense, like countless bees flapping wings, or like torrential rain striking a tin roof.

Morris’s Undead Army began to spread out, those freshly fallen Flame Spirits’ bodies barely had time to cool before standing anew in the gray-white death aura, eyes ignited with ghostly green flames, turning to attack their former comrades.
