While flying, he didn’t need to bother with his surroundings, as he could see everything clearly.

But now that he was on the ground, he needed to be extra careful.

"Escorting her?" Elena looked at him in confusion.

Evan thought for a moment before explaining Lia’s situation to her. He told her how he had met her in the Dark Forest and what had happened with the guards.

Since she said her family had a lot of influence and she could even contact them from Sky Pearl City, he felt it might make things easier to handle once they reached the city.

Elena listened to everything silently, but when Evan mentioned Anna and William, a look of surprise appeared on her face.

"You met Anna and William?"

Evan raised an eyebrow upon hearing her.

"Do you know them?"

"If the ones you are talking about are brother and sister, and Anna has a healing skill, then yes, I know them."

’It seems she really knows them...’ Evan nodded inwardly upon hearing this, as Anna really did have a healing skill.

After walking for a long time, at around four in the afternoon, they could finally see Sky Pearl City in the distance.

Seeing the city, Elena sighed and dragged the two packages with force.

"It took longer than I expected..." She sighed, looking at the city.

Evan nodded and looked at Lia at his side.

Her eyes were shining after finally seeing her home again after such a long time, but there was also a little fear in her eyes because of what had happened the last time she was in the city.

Evan patted her head and said softly, "You don’t need to fear. If you see that guard again, just tell me, and I will give him a good beating for you."

The group walked toward the city and soon reached closer to its entrance.
