"Infinite Light."
The two True Words flowed like a clear spring over stones, neither hurried nor slow.
Yet, the moment the sound faded, a sudden change occurred!
High above the Blood Sea Nether Realm, deep within the even more distant Celestial Vault, two incomparably brilliant radiances, impossible to look at directly, lit up simultaneously and without any warning!
On the left, a magnificent azure sun abruptly leaped forth from the void!
Within the sun, one could faintly discern the coiled, illusory form of a boundless, majestic, and ancient azure True Dragon. Its scales and claws flared, and its eyes, like two condensed azure suns, gazed down upon the mortal world, emanating a vast draconic might that commanded all waters and ruled the four seas!
This was none other than the East Sea Dragon Lord, who had sensed the dying call of his descendant and projected a sliver of his will across distant Realms to manifest here!
And on the right—
Infinite light, infinite heat, infinite clarity!
It was a pure white sun, so utterly pure and scorching that it seemed capable of cleansing all filth and piercing through every illusion!
At the sun’s core, a figure could be faintly seen—barefoot upon a lotus, clad in flowing white robes, with a gentle and compassionate face.
He himself was the very source of light, the essence of clarity, radiating a supreme Dao Rhyme that spoke of a great sun returned to its origin, a master of the present moment!
The Great Sun Purple Extreme True Monarch!
Two great suns, one azure and one white, manifested in the Celestial Vault at the same time!
Their completely different Dao Rhymes and pressures collided like two intangible yet utterly real Ancient Divine Mountains crashing together!
BOOM—!!!
The aftershocks of that terrifying pressure, impossible to describe in words, swept out like an apocalyptic tide!
For tens of thousands of miles, everything in the sea region—be it the churning waves of blood, the spreading poisonous miasma, the flowing clouds, the creatures swimming in the sea, or the Demon Birds flying in the air—was forcibly suppressed by an irresistible, great power at this very moment!
The sea’s surface instantly became as smooth as a mirror, without a single ripple!
The clouds froze in the sky as if time itself had stopped!
All living beings, regardless of their Cultivation level, felt their Divine Souls freeze and their Magical Power stagnate. Even their thoughts slowed to a crawl, leaving them able to do nothing but stare, almost frozen, at the two great suns hanging high above—illusory projections that represented the peak of power in this world!
When a True Monarch manifests, the very Laws retreat!
This was the absolute authority that reigned supreme over all living things!
"It’s him?!"
Within the azure sun, the Dragon Monarch’s eyes—like condensed suns themselves—narrowed abruptly as he made out the gentle figure within the pure white sun opposite him!
Images from the battle at the Spirit Mountain Sacred Realm flashed through the ancient Dragon Monarch’s mind.
The madness of that newly-ascended True Monarch who had brazenly charged for the Vidyārāja Bodhisattva Fruit Position; the audacity of him laughing heartily as he departed in the face of numerous True Monarch Bodhisattvas...
’This one fights like he has a death wish!’
He had projected his will this time because he sensed a direct descendant was facing annihilation. He had answered the call intending to intimidate the foe, resolve the crisis, and, if necessary, mete out punishment.
But he had no intention of engaging in a life-or-death battle here that could damage his own Dao Fruit, especially not against another True Monarch—and certainly not against this renowned "madman" before him!
The reason was simple: his injuries had not yet healed.
During the battle at Spirit Mountain, his main body had not been present.
However, an important incarnation of his had been caught by the World Honored One’s Handwriting, suffering a spiritual injury to his Dao that he had yet to fully recover from.
Though what had descended now was merely a sliver of reinforced will, if he were to clash with a True Monarch of the same level—particularly an opponent who fought so recklessly—it would likely aggravate the injuries on his main body, perhaps even worsening the unhealed wound to his Dao.
’It’s not worth fighting a "madman" True Monarch to the death for a non-core branch of the family like Bixuan Palace.’
In a flash, the Dragon Monarch weighed the pros and cons and made his decision.
Down below, within the Blood Sea Nether Realm, the Bixuan Dragon King had been on the verge of death, crushed by nine ten-thousand-zhang blood waves and utterly hopeless. But when he felt the descent of that vast and familiar Ancestral Dragon might, and especially when he saw the azure sun representing the Dragon Monarch manifest in the sky, he was like a drowning man clutching his last piece of driftwood!
The ecstatic joy of survival, combined with his bone-deep hatred and fear of Nether Spring, instantly shattered his reason.
"Dragon Monarch! Your Majesty!"
Ignoring his own wretched state, the Bixuan Dragon King pointed at Nether Spring atop the waves. His voice, shrill and distorted with excitement and venom, broke into a torrent of curses:
"This fiend is the arch-culprit who massacred my Bixuan Palace, slaughtered the members of the Four Seas Alliance, and desecrated the majesty of the Dragon Race!
He cultivates an Evil Skill and has transformed into a Blood Sea! He deserves a thousand deaths!
I beseech Your Majesty to act! Perform Soul Extraction and Refining on this fiend, suppress him beneath the East Sea Eye, and ensure he is never reincarnated for all eternity!!"
He grew more agitated as he cursed, as if trying to vent all the fear and humiliation he had just endured:
"You reckless demon!
His Majesty the Dragon Monarch is here in person, and you still dare to act so insolently?!
Kneel and accept your execution!
Your time has come!
Your—"
But just as the Bixuan Dragon King’s curses reached their most vicious and satisfying peak, just as he could almost see the scene of Nether Spring being crushed by the Dragon Monarch’s thunderous power—
High in the Celestial Vault, the light of the azure sun began to slowly recede and dim without any warning.
Even the infinitely majestic, illusory azure True Dragon within it began to blur and turn transparent, like a reflection in water disturbed by the wind.
"Dra... Dragon Monarch... Your Majesty?"
The Bixuan Dragon King’s curses died in his throat. The ecstasy and venom on his face instantly froze, replaced by incredulous shock and bewilderment.
He stared blankly at the sky, watching as the azure sun that represented protection and power rapidly dissipated like a receding tide. The vast draconic might was also swiftly departing...
In the span of just two or three breaths, the azure sun, along with the illusory will of the Dragon Monarch within it, vanished completely.
Above the Celestial Vault, only the illusory form of the Great Sun Purple Extreme True Monarch remained. It hung there silently—a pure white, scorching sun, its gentleness imbued with an unquestionable majesty. Its Infinite Light shone down, gilding the Blood Sea Nether Realm below with a faint platinum edge.
