Noon quickly turned into evening as more and more people left the offices.
Soon, Xiaoyun and Yuqi both stepped out of the building. They entered an SUV before it drove off into the empty streets.
While Xiaoyun drove the car, neither side spoke up. A tense yet also relaxed atmosphere as the radio played music out loud.
After driving for a bit, the two of them arrived back home, where everyone was enjoying their weekend break.
"Welcome back. How’s the meeting today?"
Leyan asked as she opened the door for the two of them in an apron, only to have the two of them walk right past.
"You guys saw it on TV." Yuqi instantly answered before collapsing onto the sofa, her face looking exhausted.
"It was pretty boring after the press meeting. A repeat of the public announcement inside a private setting."
As Xiaoyun replied, he took a seat next to Kate, who was playing some sort of board game on the floor with Yongyi.
"Is dinner cooked yet?" Yuqi grumpily asked as she slowly sat back up from a pillow resting on her neck.
"It’s almost done!"
With Leyan running back into the kitchen, Xiaoyun started looking around, examining what his wivies and kids were doing.
Most of his wives were slouching on the sofa watching TV, while the ones that didn’t have kids were playing with their kids on the floor.
Even Lily and Houqin were holding kids in their arms, with Bingbing and Wenwen giggling in their gentle swings.
It was almost as if he was in Opposite Day.
"Xiaoyun, you okay?" Kate asked as she noticed him looking around while having nothing to do.
"I’m fine.. You mind if I join?"
"Of course you can join. Just after this game is over... Okay kids, your dada is joining to play with you guys."
"Yay!"
---
Dinner quickly arrived as everyone sat at the table, eating the food that Leyan and Yueyue had cooked up together.
The atmosphere wasn’t tense or anything, as Xiaoyun’s kids sat in their mother’s laps, being slowly fed porridge spoon by spoon.
"Why’s no one talking? Today’s going to be my last day here... If no one wants to talk, I can leave tonight instead."
"Do you have to go?" Nami spoke up first.
"Does it look like I can throw my job aside?"
Once again, the table fell into silence.
The only sound that came out of the kitchen was the kids’ giggles as they tried to push the porridge away from their mouths.
"Hey, I’m still here. Isn’t that better than me being gone already? Come on, you guys are creeping me out."
"Xiaoyun, we’re going to miss you..." Anna quietly muttered, her face on the verge of tears as she barely could hold it back.
"Idiot..."
As Kate started insulting him, Xiaoyun started regretting asking them to talk at all. His mind started to realize maybe it wasn’t really a great idea.
"Ahem, have you guys removed those monitors from that room?"
"Already gone." Leyan instantly answered before turning her attention back over to Yongyi sitting on her lap.
"How about the basement? Have you guys hired someone to repair it?"
"Construction crew coming over next week," Yuqi said next as she fell into silence right after answering him.
"Okay..."
Xiaoyun didn’t start up another conversation again. Even though everybody wanted to say something, no words came out of their lips.
An hour later...
As dinner got wrapped up and everyone headed back into the living room, Xiaoyun volunteered to clean up the tables with Leyan.
Neither of them spoke up until Xiaoyun said the first word.
"Hey Leyan, why is everyone so quiet today?"
"You could answer that question yourself."
The passive-aggressive comment from Leyan only confused Xiaoyun more as he wiped the tables with a clean towel.
"Come on, just tell me—"
A loud sound interupted Xiaoyun as Leyan dropped all of the dishes into the sink before turning around.
No words came out of Leyan as she just kept staring at him. It was almost as if he had done some incomprehensible, unforgivable, heinous crime.
"Why are you looking at me like that?"
"What were you thinking when you jumped off that helicopter?"
"Helicopter? Oh fuck."
Xiaoyun froze. His brain had completely forgotten that they were all watching when he jumped off to skydive from the sky.
The cameras had captured every stunt he had done, from flying close to the buildings on purpose to pulling the parachute last minute.
Everything that a typical father with responsibility wouldn’t do. Let alone skydiving, or even flying in a wingsuit at all.
"I had to do it."
"Says who? Did you think of any of us when you jumped off? Any of our kids? You know how worried we were when we saw you zoom in?"
"My bad."
Xiaoyun had no excuse. He just couldn’t argue against such rational, logical reasoning when his own excuse sounded like complete bullshits.
"That’s it?"
Leyan coldly questioned as a frown appeared on her face. It was abundantly clear at this point why all of them were giving him the silent treatment.
"Okay, I’m sorry. I’ll never do something so stupid. I promise, I’ll seriously consider my responsibility and think of you guys when—"
Just as Xiaoyun was about to finish giving his answer, everything turned black. A piece of cloth had covered his eyes.
Meanwhile, his hand had forcefully been held back by some hand before being put against a piece of cold, hard metal handcuff.
"What the—"
Before Xiaoyun could resist, his mouth was held together by some sort of restraint, forcing him only to mutter a bunch of nonsensical words.
"We’re going to teach you a little lesson, honey... Let this be our one last memory before you leave, okay?"
Hearing the answer from Leyan, Xiaoyun finally stopped resisting. He nodded his head as something from behind lifted him.
"Are all the babies asleep yet?"
"Yeah."
The moment Yuqi’s and Leyan’s conversation finished, all sounds vanished. Someone had put on a pair of headphones over his ears.
Next, Xiaoyun could feel his legs being tied up together by some sort of rope, with his arms behind his back as if he was being kidnapped.
Every part of his body was tightly pushed together as a weird feeling started to develop inside his brain.
Xiaoyun didn’t like it, nor did he hate it. The only word he could think of to describe it was a weird, exciting feeling.
He didn’t know what kind of ’punishment’ his wives were planning for him... Until he felt something soft on his butt.
The softness felt like a mattress to him, but he couldn’t be sure as they deprived him of access to any of his basic senses.
Only when Xiaoyun felt his leg being spread apart to be put between something did he change the assumption into some sort of chair.
"What are you guys doing?"
Xiaoyun’s muffled words were met with silence as they start taking off his cloths. What happened next started to scare him.
His arms were being lifted above his head, with a cold metal sensation touching his palm and an even colder touch against the back of his hand.
His legs were being spread even further apart, and the support beneath his butt was no longer there.
In its place was something hard.
A metal ledge, barely enough to hold his body up. He could feel the metal touching all over his naked skin.
Soon, he could feel more and more ropes being tied over his body. It reached a point where he couldn’t move even if he wanted to resist.
"Hey! T-This isn’t fun anymore. Let me go now."
Xiaoyun’s muffled words were finally met with an answer as a pair of hands slowly removed the headphones that were over his ears.
"Honey, we’re going to squeeze you so hard, you won’t have any strength left... You better cancel the trip, or else we won’t let you go."
"Never!"
As he protested against Leyan out loud, he suddenly felt soft being put close against his butthole.
"I really mean it, honey. None of us want you to leave. We want you to stay here... Do you not understand that?"
"I can’t!"
The rejection was instantly met with a warm, watery feeling splashing near his butt before his eyes widened in disbelief.
"Stop——Mhm!——Mhm!"
Xiaoyun’s muffled voice was further hindered as somebody suddenly changed the piece of cloth over his mouth into what felt like a circular ball.
"You always go behind our backdoor. Maybe it’s time for you to get a taste of your own medicine."
"Mhm!"
"All you have to do for us to stop is to nod your head. Stay in Guangdong and don’t go to Beijing."
As Leyan whispered it into his left ear, Xiaoyun didn’t nod or shake his head. He instead tried to break himself out, but the ropes were way too tight.
It was almost as if they were anticipating he was going to try to break free and flip the table rather than going along with their script.
"Very well then. Looks like you made your choice."
"Mhm——Hm!"
