The classes finally came to an end, and the students slowly began gathering their belongings before heading toward the exit.

Amon packed his books into his bag and was about to leave when a familiar voice suddenly called out to him.

"Amon, wait for a moment."

He turned around and found Miss Helena standing near the teacher’s desk.

She was a woman with neat brown hair and sharp but calm eyes, and there was a natural sense of authority in the way she carried herself.

However, unlike the other teachers, Helena seemed particularly curious about Amon.

Amon walked back toward her. "Did you need something?"

Helena picked up a document from her desk and tapped it lightly against her palm.

"I wanted to ask you about the report I showed the class before."

Amon immediately knew what she was talking about. "The dungeon report?"

Helena nodded. "Were you the one who wrote it?"

Amon didn’t see any reason to hide it. "Yes. I was the one who submitted it to Richard."

Helena studied him for several seconds before sighing.

"Then I have to ask you something." Her expression became slightly more serious. "Why are you in such a hurry to become an adventurer?"

Amon raised an eyebrow, and Helena quickly corrected herself.

"There’s nothing wrong with wanting to become one early, but normally, students wait until the college screening before making such a decision."

Amon shrugged. "I felt ready, so I decided to do it."

Helena stared at him for a moment before letting out a quiet sigh.

"That’s exactly what worries me."

She placed the report back onto her desk.

"You may have talent, but talent doesn’t mean you’re invincible. The things happening inside dungeons right now are becoming increasingly strange."

Amon nodded his head seriously. "I know."

"You don’t." Helena shook her head. "You’ve seen one abnormal dungeon, but we don’t know how widespread this phenomenon is yet."

She stepped closer and lowered her voice slightly.

"Be careful whenever you enter one. Even a dungeon classified as low-level may not remain low-level once you’re inside."

Amon nodded. He was actually grateful for her warning. "I’ll keep that in mind."

Helena’s expression softened before she suddenly smiled. "There’s something else I can do for you."

"What?"

"I’ll speak with the principal and try to get you a scholarship."

Amon blinked in surprise. "You can do that?"

Helena’s expression became noticeably proud.

"Of course I can." She placed one hand against her chest. "The principal trusts my judgment."

Amon smiled slightly. "What kind of scholarship?"

"If you qualify for an elite college, the school can provide financial assistance to help you get there."

Amon’s eyes brightened slightly. Money was one thing that he liked. "That sounds useful."

"It is." Helena nodded. "Your performance so far gives me enough reason to recommend you."

Amon nodded politely. "Thank you, Miss Helena."

She waved her hand dismissively. "Just make sure I don’t regret recommending you."

Amon turned toward the door, but Helena called after him one final time.

"And Amon."

He glanced over his shoulder.

"Don’t let your confidence get you killed inside a dungeon."

Amon smiled. "I’ll try."

Helena sighed as he walked away. "Not the right answer, youngster..."

---

Amon walked out of the academy building and into the courtyard.

The afternoon sunlight had begun fading slightly, making everything look a little more beautiful.

He adjusted his bag and continued walking when he suddenly noticed a familiar blue-haired girl standing near the entrance.

Seraphina was surrounded by several students, but the moment she saw Amon, her attention immediately shifted toward him.

The cold expression she normally wore around everyone else disappeared.

A warm smile bloomed across her face as she skipped past the students toward him.

Amon walked toward her. "Waiting for me?"

Seraphina nodded. "How was your day?"

"Boring." Amon shrugged. "What about yours?"

Seraphina hesitated before she answered.

"I was thinking about you." A faint blush appeared across her cheeks before she quickly waved her hands. "Not in that way!"

Amon raised an eyebrow. "I didn’t even say anything."

Seraphina lowered her head. "You were about to."

Amon chuckled. "I am not the one with the dirty mind here."

Seraphina opened her mouth to argue but quickly closed it again. She couldn’t even find a proper response.

After a few seconds, she mumbled quietly, "I read online that it’s good to release pent-up emotions."

Amon stared at her for an uncomfortable second. "...Where exactly are you getting your information?"

Seraphina’s face became even redder. "Can we talk about something else?"

Amon smiled, shaking his head.

"Sure." He adjusted the strap of his bag before remembering something. "You’ll need to enter the dungeon in four days, right?"

Seraphina’s expression immediately became serious. "That’s actually what I wanted to talk to you about."

Amon frowned slightly. "What happened?"

Seraphina hesitated before placing one hand over her upper chest.

"The Frostheart Cultivation Method is working, but..." She looked down at her hand. "It’s interfering with my normal mana flow."

Amon took a moment before asking seriously, "How bad is it?"

"At first, it wasn’t too painful." She took a slow breath before continuing.

"After a few days, everything started becoming smoother, and I thought my body had finally adapted."

She paused for a second before letting out a small sigh.

"But lately, whenever I reach the final stage of the cultivation cycle, I feel a sharp pain here."

Her fingers pressed lightly against the upper part of her chest.

Amon frowned. "Does it happen every time?"

"Almost." Seraphina looked slightly worried. "Everything else feels normal, but the pain becomes stronger whenever I try to circulate the Frostheart energy completely."

Amon remained silent for several seconds. ’Could it be because she only has half of the cultivation method?’

The Frostheart Cultivation Method was incomplete.

Perhaps the portion she currently possessed wasn’t designed to be used independently for an extended period.

Amon was still thinking when a System notification suddenly appeared.

Amon read the quest description for a while. ’Frost Mana Manipulation?’

He immediately wondered how he was supposed to help her when he didn’t possess any proper healing ability.

Amon silently asked the System. ’How can I remove the Frost Knot?’

Another notification appeared.

---

[System Analysis.]

[The Frost Monarch Cultivation Method is an advanced evolution of the Frostheart Cultivation Method.]

[The incomplete Frostheart Cultivation Method cannot properly regulate the user’s Frost Mana.]

[The Frost Monarch Cultivation Method contains the missing regulation method.]

[Recommended Solution: Use the Frost Monarch Cultivation Method to guide and restructure the accumulated Frost Mana.]

---

Amon nodded his head as he got the gist of it. ’So that’s what it means.’

The Frost Monarch Cultivation Method wasn’t simply a stronger version.

Amon slowly turned toward Seraphina.

The girl was watching him with a slightly worried expression.

"What?" she asked.

Amon thought for a moment before speaking. "I might be able to help you."

Seraphina’s eyes widened. "Really?"

"I think so, but I need to test something first." Amon looked toward the academy building before returning his attention to her. "Would you come to my room?"

Seraphina immediately froze as her entire face turned red within seconds.

She lowered her head, her fingers nervously gripping the edge of her sleeve. "...Okay."

Amon gave her a blank look. ’What’s with this reaction?’
