When Clara Grant saw Sarah Shelby, she immediately rushed to her side and asked worriedly, "Sarah, why haven’t you been in class these past few days? I was worried sick about you."

Sarah’s eyes flickered for a second. She laughed, trying to hide her true feelings. "Pfft, as if! Why would he stop me from coming to class? So we could just sit at home and stare at each other all day?"

"Besides, he might have a short fuse with outsiders, but with me... he’s fine. And he’s certainly not violent, so you can rest easy."

"Well, I feel better now that you’ve said that. But..." Clara glanced over her shoulder at the men behind Sarah and said,

"you should tell Ewan Stratton to call these guys off. It must be so awkward having them follow you around every day. Besides, our school is perfectly safe. You don’t need such tight security, do you?"

Without even glancing at the men behind her, Sarah said nonchalantly, "If he wants them to protect me, then let them. I’m used to it by now, anyway. At this point, I’d probably feel like something was missing if no one was following me."

"Besides, look around campus. Who else gets a personal bodyguard detail every day? It’s so badass. I’m safe, and I get all the attention. What could be better?"

Clara nodded and laughingly teased, "That’s true. With bodyguards following you every day, you’re a first for our school. No matter how much of a big shot Chloe Grant acted, she only ever had an assistant trailing her at most. But you? You’ve got four hulking men."

Sarah immediately waved a hand dismissively. "Chloe Grant? Why even bring her up? Is she even on my level? I’d rather not talk about her!"

"Of course. She can’t compare to you. You two are worlds apart."

The two of them laughed and joked for a little while longer before heading to their respective classrooms.

Just as Sarah was about to step into her classroom, she noticed the four men behind her showed no signs of stopping. She turned and said coldly, "I’ve told you before, it’s not appropriate for you to follow me into the classroom. Relax. We’re on the eleventh floor. It’s not like I can run away."

With that, she didn’t bother giving them another glance and walked straight into the classroom.
