Chapter 237: Chapter 237: Never Letting Go (7)
Tony had brought more than a dozen men, and the villa was in an extremely remote location. Even if they turned the place upside down, it was unlikely anyone from the outside world would notice! And there were only three of them, with severely limited manpower and weapons. Even if Seraphina Sterling and king were excellent shots, they couldn’t just take out the leader under these circumstances. If they dragged this out until their ammunition was gone, they would be dead either way!
"Roy, it’s useless to keep struggling. Just shoot yourself, and I’ll have my men stand down immediately! I’ll even spare the lives of that idiot brother of yours and Seraphina Sterling!" Tony watched his men fall one after another, wishing he could just put a bullet in him right then and there!
"Tony, shut your mouth! We will never surrender! I was a fool to be tricked by you, and I accept that! But if you think you can take my brother’s place, you’re dreaming! You’re not worthy! You can’t even compare to my brother’s little finger!" Lott had never wanted to slap himself so hard. This whole mess was all his fault!
"Then you just keep your eyes wide open and watch how I defeat your brother and become the new king!" With a look from Tony, his remaining men immediately intensified their fire, focusing their attacks on king.
Seraphina Sterling had run out of bullets. Her pale face was covered in sweat; she could do nothing but take cover!
"If you don’t want to die, walk over here nice and slow. Bullets don’t have eyes!" Tony said, pointing his gun at Seraphina Sterling. His original plan had been perfect. His men could have easily gotten Lott under control. If Seraphina Sterling hadn’t shown up out of nowhere, he wouldn’t have been forced to accelerate his plans and have this open confrontation with king so soon!
"I’m quite fond of my life. I can come over, sure, but first, answer a question for me. Did you kill Simon?" Seraphina Sterling did her best to ignore the discomfort she felt. There were some things she absolutely had to find out.
"Simon? A member of the Villet Family. Even Nightfall wouldn’t dare to make a move on them lightly!" Tony advanced slowly, gun still raised. ’Since she’s willing to help king, they must be close. If I capture her, why would I have to worry about king not surrendering?’
’Not Nightfall! Then who on earth killed Simon?’
"king, you’d better drop your gun. Otherwise, I can’t guarantee my finger won’t twitch and put a few holes in Seraphina Sterling’s body!" Tony’s leisurely voice was dripping with smug satisfaction.
king stopped shooting and looked toward Seraphina Sterling, whose face was completely pale.
She shrugged and gave him an apologetic smile. The pain in her shoulder made her squint.
king’s concession made Tony even more smug. "She can be your greatest asset, but she can also be your greatest weak—"
Before he could finish the word, Seraphina Sterling lunged, grabbing the wrist of his gun hand and twisting it violently. Tony countered by driving his knee upward, trying to pull the trigger in the process.
But to his surprise, Seraphina Sterling grabbed the pistol’s frame with one hand and, with a few deft moves, a perfectly good handgun was instantly reduced to a pile of parts!
"You’re ruthless!" Tony suddenly threw a punch, resorting to hand-to-hand combat with Seraphina Sterling!
But his fighting skills were clearly lacking. After she landed several consecutive kicks, he immediately pulled another gun from his coat and pulled the trigger. "Die!"
The moment Terrence Grant arrived, he witnessed Seraphina Sterling being shot. He watched her slender figure fall backward like an autumn leaf in the wind, finally collapsing onto the ground as blood poured endlessly from her wound.
Terrence Grant’s eyes blazed crimson. "Kill them! Leave no one alive!"
He personally pulled the trigger, emptying a full magazine into Tony and turning him into Swiss cheese.
