Fang Zun said slowly as he entered the world again through his will, his own face paler than before. "Well, that man is still the same. That old fucker will never change even in a hundred lifetimes."

"Well, it is to be expected. It is like we need to take action before that happens, although that will happen in the very end. If this world does not get absolutely obliterated by the calamity, then that would mean that the last hope would be that young kid."

"But we do not truly care about that young kid. Most of us old monsters cannot truly stop the heavenly calamity until there is someone powerful enough to stop all these actual huge and tragic terrifying enemies that are after this realm."

"All of us would be dead. But what does that even mean to us now? I just need the system that he has gotten. And other than that, I would not even come closer to him or fight him again, and he would be dead."

Li Jiwen, as the parasite, stirred within the existence of Fang Zun. He could tell that Fang Zun himself was much knowledgeable about this world, and if he wanted to stop the calamity, he would have probably stopped it long ago.

But he was fearful that without another system and without actually the system of Li Jiwen’s own, he would not be powerful enough especially outside, in the Primordial Sea.

So Li Jiwen thought to himself, ’That is interesting. But what exactly is the problem with his system and the system of Old Jing? Are they not enough in the Primordial Sea?’

’And does that mean that my system is much more powerful than both? Or does that mean that my system is much more viable outside of this realm? And what exactly does he know about my system?’

Li Jiwen’s mind was filled with ideas and actual questions, but he did not say anything or do anything. He understood that if he fully tried to do anything stupid or try to steal them within Fang Zun’s existence, then he would be dead.

He would be absolutely annihilated to nothing if Fang Zun actually felt that there was something wrong with him. Then even if he was not powerful enough, he would be ready in the next couple of lives.

Not just a couple, probably the next time that he was trying to actually get inside his existence with a parasite or a similar way.

Li Jiwen stopped thinking and continued to watch Fang Zun’s own existence.

He understood just how powerful the existence that had already killed Fang Zun’s own will, and he understood that the threats from outside this realm were much more powerful and much more dangerous.

If he stopped the calamity and started the next mission, what exactly would happen?

He thought slowly and with a long pause, ’Why exactly is the system not giving me any sub missions until this moment? What does that even mean? I need a sub mission as well, and that would make me much more powerful if the side missions can give me any actual powers or might more than that I have through the system’s own main mission.’

He finally seized his thoughts and looked at Fang Zun’s thoughts again.

And Fang Zun was starting to think about other matters and about other things as well.

Fang Zun was thinking about how exactly he could benefit from the matter and benefit as much as possible from his own powers at the moment and in this life.

And how he could get the system in the next life, how he could actually get it as fast as possible.

He understood that with each actual passing day and with each passing reset of this timeline, the heavenly Dao would not be able to stop the alien demons much longer.

Probably another one trillion years at most. And that would mean that all of them would be dead after that, whether it be his own or any other.

He understood that with his own powers and with his position in the world of cultivation, he would be the very first one to be targeted and eliminated.

And he understood that even with his powers now, whether it be that they rivaled that of a Saint Immortal or not, that was up for a question.

But he understood that he would not stand a chance against those entities.

Even primordial saints would not be able to do so. And that was just another hundred worlds and not even the entirety of the Primordial Sea.

He knew one thing: that this world was much more interesting and of deep currents than any other, and that would actually make every other world and bubble within the Primordial Sea want to come here and see what these powers and secrets were.

Even his own mind could not fathom exactly what all the secrets were.

But he knew so without his mind, but with his heart.

The most important thing was that he must get that system and get out of here before anything happens. ’With that system I can be powerful enough to even be against all these alien demons and try to get that thing from deep within the core of this realm and try to go back to my world.’

He looked through the abyss and into the heavens, then outside into the Primordial Sea.

These entities shuddered and moved and trembled, seeping through the fabric of reality and non-reality itself. All of them were wanting this world, and he knew it.

Whether he wanted to go back to his world or stay here and try, that was up to him. But them and all of them, combined even, wanted to stop that from happening.

They wanted to take everything, and that was not something to his own want.

He smiled and said, "Not on my watch. Not on my watch. You will see, all of you, just how powerful I, Fang Zun, am!"
