James and Sera still hadn't recovered from the morning view of the territory, which was simply breathtaking, with the towering tree in the middle, along with all the pools, greenery, and structures. Then Leo summoned Agnivar and Ashira.

Agnivar was summoned so he could take flight in the direction of Tarun's Villa, which was 400 kilometres away, while Ashira was summoned so she could get acquainted with James and Sera.

But the couple were shocked to learn that both beasts could speak human language, and that too fluently, unlike Bigfoot.

Another wave of shock came when they spotted the Lizardman family. And it seemed that Thalvyr and Cindriss were still deep in meditation.

"Just what did you both do in such a small amount of time...?" James muttered.

Because just having a single person from Leo's territory in Kendru would have increased the prestige of the city by another level. Especially with how strong the members of Leo's territory were.

Till now, James had been thinking he was quite strong with his personal strength of Peak 2-star, Jbear's strength of Low 3-star, and his new beast—Thundercoil Serpent—with a strength of Pseudo 3-star.

But who knew he would be so wrong?

Someone who had been just a starter in comparison to him now had servants stronger than him. If he picked anyone from the territory to challenge, it would turn out to be someone equal to him, or mostly stronger.

This... James thought as he felt around the environment of the territory.

"He understands human language and is capable of using healing magic, so don't hold back. You can go all out, but that also means Bigfoot will go all out on you too."

James fist-bumped his chest in excitement

"I couldn't ask for more. I would feel bad if I were to go all out and he wasn't."

After that, Leo and Lily climbed on top of Agnivar to take off as Leo saw Sera and Ashira engaged in conversation. Both ladies found themselves in an awkward situation because one had never talked to or even seen a wyvern, while the other wasn't used to talking to a human.

Leaving them behind, Agnivar took a full-speed flight towards his destination. It didn't even take Agnivar a full 15 minutes before a luxurious villa on top of a hill came into view, covered in a barrier dome that blocked any snow from entering the courtyard.

As Agnivar made his way nearer to the place, a circular region was deactivated in the barrier, allowing the wyvern to enter unhindered.

Leo had only just begun landing when he spotted Tarun, with his long, white, flowing hair, coming out of the large door.

Leo raised his brow when he saw the bare-chested, well-built body, which was in stark contrast to the old freckles on his face. But the most surprising part was that Tarun was injured, heavily so.

Bandages ran across his abdomen and arms, and even a thick wrap was around his head that seemed to have been freshly changed. But even then, the bleeding had still stained the bandages from within. Thankfully, Tarun himself looked quite healthy, with the same sharpness in his eyes as he evaluated Leo and Lily.

That same feeling... I cannot sense his whole strength. Tarun thought before a smile formed on his face.

"Kid, congratulations on taming a Wyvern. I have been expecting you," he congratulated Leo as he and Lily stepped down from Agnivar's back.

Tarun looked at the wyvern for a while before raising both his brows in surprise.

"You actually secured a hoarding variant as Gunther said..."

"We greet Vice Principal Tarun," both Leo and Lily said as they bowed before him.

Tarun nodded and showed them the way inside the villa, allowing Agnivar to roam freely around the region while the work was done.

"Vice Principal, what happened to you?" Leo asked.

Tarun waved dismissively.

"Just some scratches from the recent fight. They will heal within a few days by themselves."

"Whoa, what sort of being is even capable of injuring someone as strong as you?" Leo asked, genuinely curious.

Tarun simply shook his head.

"You should be asking what beast isn't capable of injuring me in this vast world. I am just lucky and thankful every day to my revered God that I always live to see the next day."

"You must be kidding, Vice Principal," Leo laughed. "If you say something like that, then wouldn't it scare us young people away?"

Tarun also laughed.

"You are the last person I want to hear this from. I cannot expect someone like you to be scared of some words when you dare to jump directly into the mouth of a Low 5-star Infernal Serpent that was way above your level."

Lily sharply turned her head to look towards Leo, making him grimace.

"Cough, I was confident I would be alright..."

"Alright in the sense of getting nearly crushed in the neck sac whose temperature might even be greater than molten red adamantium?"

Lily's glare only sharpened at Leo, as if conveying that she had something to talk about.

"H-how about we talk about something else? Uh, yes! Our rewards! The message told us we secured the best rewards?" Leo quickly changed the topic.

Tarun simply laughed loudly. Somehow, Leo was behaving exactly like Brant.

"That's where I am taking you—to your rewards," Tarun said as they made their way to a spacious region.

It was a big place, but the most eye-catching thing was a round object kept in the middle of the room. And it wasn't small at all, having a diameter of over 4 meters. The whole thing was covered in a large white curtain with an intricate magical array across the floor that seemed to be suppressing something as well as acting as a preserving agent.

Leo and Lily stayed back while Tarun walked up to the object.

"This..." Tarun held the hem of the curtain.

"...is your first reward."

He pulled the curtain, and what was revealed left Leo's eyes wide open.

The whole round object was deep brown in colour and extremely thick, with veiny lines of a yellowish hue running all across it.
