The moment Leo activated his talent, the thick, yellowish veins across the 4-meter-wide beastcore started to glow with bright yellow light that strongly resembled the Aura from Nyxa's skill.

Another thing was that now Howl wouldn't be crushed beneath his own weight.

But the most shocking thing was the stat boost.

"1000% boost in stamina? What the fuck..." Leo muttered. He could already imagine himself as a tireless beast once he unlocked the complete boost. Even now, the 100% boost was more than enough.

And even if he removed the optional boosts from all the traits, he was still a Pseudo 5-star.

"Wait... Are the feedback from my beasts not being accounted for?" Leo wondered.

Because if the feedback from his beasts as well as the optional boosts were removed, Leo was a High 4-star being on the verge of advancing to Peak 4-star with his base stats. Only that explained the effectiveness with which the treasures had worked in his body in correspondence to his rank.

"Damn, it's great news. I can stack up many more stats before the next level up so that I can get more benefits," Leo said, already making his plans.

And if that were the case, then Lily herself was about to see a massive jump in her stats. Because even if she had the strength of a High 4-star being who was about to advance to Peak 4-star, her base stats were only around High to Peak 3-star, with only her intelligence at Pseudo 5-star level.

Then another thing clicked in Leo's head.

"No." Leo's expression changed as he realised that Lily might actually be in danger.

Her base intelligence stat was simply way too high for her body's constitution to handle the monstrous amount of mana. For now, it might be that her soul was managing to keep things intact, but even that had limits.

He immediately went to stop her from consuming the treasures given by Tarun.

By now, Lily was already back after getting Sera tested and was arranging some things in the house.

But when she learned about his worries, she simply hugged him.

"Don't worry, Leo. Spirit Beast Masters' bodies function in a different manner. Especially that of a Spirit Caller," she explained.

"Most of our innate mana is provided to us by our spirits, meaning they are the ones who handle the burden of the excess mana that we work with. And since Spirit Caller's spirits are soul-bound, we are capable of wielding an indefinite amount of mana."

She kissed him on the cheek.

At that time, Lily brought out the slip of the test results she got from the assessment hall.
