Absolute Loser Becomes The Pleasure King Using Satan System
Chapter 56.The pursuit of command-1Chapter 56: 56.Forest of No Shade-6
Mylo caught the shape of it low to the ground, patchy dark fur, ribs pressed too tight against skin, and raised a hand fast, two fingers pressed to his lips.
He whispered, ’’Wait. Quiet, Let me get close first.’’
Tritia looked at his hand like it meant nothing to her, which, apparently, it did, because half a second later she was already moving, closing the distance in three strides and driving her nails clean through the side of its skull.
It didn’t even have time to make a sound.
She straightened up, flicked black-red blood off her hand, and looked at him.
"...That wasn’t the plan," Mylo said.
"You said quiet. I was quiet. Hmm."
"I meant let me get the kill. I need the final hit myself, remember? I told you that, back in the cave."
"You are saying weird things again like in the cave. Why would I not kill in a hunt? Hmm, I can guess but it’s complicated to do."
She nudged the dead Vexfang with her foot, unbothered.
"This one’s already dead. What do you want me to do, give it back its life?"
He shook his head in defeat.
"No. Just, next time. Wound it. Don’t finish it. To complete my goal, I have to be the one to kill."
"Hmm." She tilted her head, actually considering that this time. "That’s a strange rule."
"Tell me about it."
"Fine. I would not kill. I understand now."
"Thank you."
"You’re welcome. Can I take it as one of orders? Tell me."
Mylo raised his eyebrows at her wording. It wasn’t the first time he had noticed her speaking of orders.
"...Yeah. You can treat it as such if you want."
"Hmm. Noted."
Mylo tried to think about how much attention he should give to this matter but he didn’t get the chance.
Another Vexfang appeared before that.
It came in low and fast, jaw already unhinging, that thin acid drool hissing where it hit a stone on its way past.
Tritia was already moving. She ducked under the first snap of its jaws and raked her claws down its flank, deep, but not deep enough to finish it. It shrieked, staggered sideways, favoring the leg she’d torn open.
"Now! Hmm!"
Mylo was already there. He drove the machete down through the base of its skull, put his whole weight behind it, and felt the resistance give all at once.
The vexfang’s struggle bought nothing as his body became motionless.
He stood there a second, breathing hard, blood on his hands that wasn’t his. Looking at the body he didn’t really feel anything.
Notification flickered at the edge of his vision.
...
[NOTIFICATION]
Minimal Pran was absorbed.
...
Tritia was already crouched beside the body, checking the wound she’d left, like she was grading her own work.
"Was that Good? Tell me." she asked, not looking up.
"Yeah, Good." He wiped the blade. "That’s how it needs to go. You weaken it, I finish it."
"Hmm. Simple enough."
"Yeah."
He looked down at the second kill of the day, then back up at her.
Two down. Twenty three more of Vexfangs.
It was going to be a long night.
Two of them this time, moving together, low shapes cutting between the black roots up ahead.
As they moved Tritia looked at him and asked him, ’’Your goal, it’s kind of weird how you mention it. Hmm, tell me more about it, simply okay?’’
The question was something Mylo had expected to be asked way before.
Without meeting her gaze, he replied.
’’After this is over, I’ll explain it to you. Can you wait till then?’’
’’Hmm. Then make sure to tell me.’’
As they ventured further, they came across two more Vexfangs lurking around.
Mylo caught Tritia’s eye, pointed two fingers at himself, then at the one on the left.
She gave a short nod and peeled off toward the one on the right without a word.
No plan. Just an order. She’d said that was enough, and apparently it was.
He moved on his target first, staying low, machete loose in his grip.
Vexfang hadn’t seen him yet, nose down, working over something dead on the ground. He got within striking range before it finally lifted its head, too late, jaw barely starting to unhinge when he brought the blade down across the back of its neck.
It went down hard and didn’t get back up.
He turned, breathing fast, and saw Tritia already finishing hers, one hand buried wrist-deep in its side, the other wrenching its head back at an angle it wasn’t built for.
’’Hmm, here.’’
Tritia threw that Vexfang towards Mylo. Mylo looked down at it and finished it’s suffering quickly.

Minimal Pran was absorbed.

[NOTIFICATION]
Minimal Pran was absorbed.
...
Two similar messages were shown in the bloody-red screen.
’’There’s no need to put too much effort in them. We have a lot of other powerful monsters to hunt.’’
Tritia just shrugged at him.
’’They are just too weak. Hmm, I don’t even have to put any effort.’’
For a second, standing over two dead Vexfangs with a girl who’d just torn one open with her bare hand, it almost felt easy to him.
He knew better than to trust that feeling. But he let himself have it, just for the second.
They kept moving after that, quieter stretches between kills, enough space for Mylo to actually check his numbers instead of just reacting to them.
...
Pran:8
...
He frowned at it. Three point, off three clean kills and a decent stretch of walking.
He had expected it after seeing how weak vexfangs actually were but he still wished it was more than just one increase, as it would take 10 to use his skills.
He closed the screen, rolled his shoulders, and noticed Tritia watching him. Not the forest but him.
"What?"
"Your Pran. It’s climbing. Hmm."
She tilted her head slightly, something almost like interest crossing her face before she caught it and smoothed it back out.
"Faster than I expected. For someone this weak."
"Thanks, I guess?"
"It wasn’t any praise."
She turned back toward the treeline ahead of them. "Just an observation."
He didn’t have anything to say to that, so he didn’t say anything.
Just as they finished talking, the smell hit them, surprising both of them.
Mylo recognised it as rotten eggs, thick and wet, curling up out of the dark ahead of them like the forest itself had started to spoil.
Tritia went rigid.
"Tkern! It’s Close."
"How close?"
She didn’t answer. She was already moving, and a heartbeat later he heard it too, a low, wet snort somewhere off to the right, followed by the sound of something heavy shifting its weight through brush.
Then the scream.
Crrrrreeeeeeeee!!!
Not a Vexfang sound. Higher. Louder. Something built to carry.
Mylo remembered his notes.
Tkerns would scream to call out to more of their kinds!
"That’s bad," Mylo said in hurried tone. "That’s really bad, right?"
"Very bad. Hmm. Run, or fight now, before more come."
They didn’t had any time to choose.
The brush ahead of them tore open and it was already in plain sight to them.
Black horns catching the red light, reddish near the tips like they’d been dipped in something.
Its drool hit the ground and hissed the same rotten stink up into the air.
Crrrrreeeeeeeee!!!
Crrrrreeeeeeeee!!!
Then the smell doubled. Tripled. More screams, further out, answering the first one.
Even some vexfangs growled from sideways.
"They’re calling everyone!" Mylo backed up fast, machete up. "How many are we-"
"Don’t count. Hmm! Move!"
They didn’t scatter.
They moved together without saying anything because there wasn’t room to think about strategy anymore, just room to react.
A Tkern came in low, horns first, and Mylo threw himself sideways.
He felt the tip catch his sleeve and tear straight through.
Beside him, Tritia’s claws opened a Vexfang’s throat before it even got close, barely breaking stride.
"Left! Hmm!"
He turned in time to catch a second Tkern’s charge on the flat of his blade.
’’HeuK!!’’
He staggered, boots skidding in the dirt, and shoved it back with everything he had.
It wasn’t enough.
It wasn’t going to be enough on strength alone.
Pleasure!
The Tkern jolted, whole body flinching away from him for half a second, confused by the sudden pleasure running through his body.
Mylo didn’t let this chance get wasted.
Mylo drove the machete into its throat and sliced it open as the black blood sprayed everywhere.
...
[NOTIFICATION]
Faint Pran was absorbed.
...
Mylo didn’t have any time to spare on notification.
They were getting surrounded.
Two vexfangs jumped at him at the same time.
He gritted his teeth and punched one under the neck while using machete to slice through the other vexfang.
’’huff...huff...ah! dammit!’’
Just as he had finished killing them, he felt a sharp pain in his leg!
Looking down, he saw a Vexfang locking his leg in it’s jaws!
