Absolute Loser Becomes The Pleasure King Using Satan System
Chapter 68.Feelings That Need Rediscovery-2Chapter 68: 68.Feelings That Need Rediscovery-2
That meant this stranger hadn’t been the one to kill Pariah; if he had, the soul bind would have naturally transferred to him, making him her new master.
When she spoke with him, she shared only broad details of why she was trapped in this desolate place.
But as the conversation shifted and she heard him talk about the scars on her wrists, a strange feeling made it’s way up her heart and a hope flickered inside her.
Hmm. Maybe this person can become my next master.
Maybe he will be better than Pariah...hmm.
Driven by the overwhelming urge to belong to someone, she offered him the Soulbind.
He refused.
Not only did he turn her down, but his stance shifted into outright aggression.
Panicked, Tritia had no choice but to bare her fangs to protect herself.
"Heh... those nails actually hurt."
I-I am s-sorry... I didn’t mean to-
Yet even after she pressed the offer a second time, he remained completely unyielding, dead set on refusing her.
He asked for her wish even though he had just refused it.
Why was he toying with her emotions so much?
As she sat there in the gloom, chewing listlessly on raw vexfang meat, the harsh reality of her situation finally settled in.
Hmm... if he refuses to become my master, then I have no other choice...
She muttered to herself, her thoughts spiraling in quiet desperation.
Tell me... how can I convince him to form a soulbind? Tell me, please...
Her eyes fixed on inner chamber she wondered what he was even doing there.
Curiosity getting the better of her, she found herself tiptoeing silently back into the inner chamber.
There she found the man, Mylo, fast asleep on a rough, makeshift bed of blankets on the ground.
Hmm... where did he even get those?
She crawled closer, peering down to observe his sleeping face. It was completely smooth, entirely free of the grotesque, pale scars that marred her own wrists.
Her hand brushed past his hair as it caressed his cheek, trailing towards his lips.
Hmm... are you nobility, like Pariah? Tell me...
She accidentally whispered the words aloud. Startled, she quickly clapped both hands over her mouth, but Mylo didn’t even stir, remaining dead to the world.
She drifted over to a nearby wooden table covered in papers and supplies, but could only scratch her head in confusion, she had never learned how to read or write. Giving up, she crept back to Milo’s side and quietly curled up on the ground right beside him.
Hmm... I’ll start by saying sorry so he doesn’t hold any grudges against me for earlier...
And then I’ll convince him to form a soul bind with me.
I’m strong, once he sees my true power in action, he’ll definitely agree! Hmm!
And soon, Milo woke up.
She followed after what she had thought, getting a little too in the mood than she had thought.
Shortly after, he proposed leaving the cave and heading out into the greater forest.
To her, it didn’t matter. Whether he wanted to take her to the literal end of the world or back into the heart of the Marrowfields, she would follow. All she needed was for him to finally accept the soulbind.
When he eventually told her about his Sin, a bizarre name she had never heard of in all her tribal lore, a brilliant, devious idea sparked in her mind.
I won’t tell him about my Sin!
Hmm... I’ll save him from every single dangerous situation we encounter.
He’ll realize just how overwhelmingly strong I am, and then he’ll form a soulbind with me just to make use of my power!
Aren’t I amazing? Tell me!
She smirked to herself, entirely confident in her master-plan.
True to her strategy, she was fiercely proactive every step of the way, constantly turning to him and demanding he order her around.
Order me! Use me! Anyway you want!
Yet, at every single turn, she was met only with agonizing disappointment.
Why is he giving me those shoes?
He had also wrapped me in this clothe...hmm, they are easy to move around in... no! Thats not important!
He’s not supposed to care about trivial things like that!
Hmm... I was even purposely scraping my legs against sharp rocks to make it look like I was working hard and wearing them down!
As their journey continued, a strange, unfamiliar ache slowly began to creep into her chest.
Mylo wasn’t treating her like a slave, nor like a tool to be discarded when broken.
He was caring for her.
He was treating her as an absolute equal, as a genuine comrade.
No matter how dire or hopeless their situation became, he flat-out refused to exploit her or treat her as property.
Now, watching Mylo brutally carve through one Tkern after another in the chaotic clearing, her claws dug convulsively into the carcass of a vexfang, its dark, viscous blood staining her hands black.
Hmm... hmm... I have to do something bold to make him see how truly useful I am...
Deciding in an instant, she let out a piercing, echoing shriek and bolted away at a dead sprint, drawing the immediate, furious attention of every monster in the vicinity.
Hmm! Now you’ll finally see how useful I am!
Do you see this?!
Everyone is coming after me!
They won’t attack you anymore!
Now, what do you think? Aren’t I useful?
As she glanced back over her shoulder toward Milo, she caught his eyes.
’’...’’
They weren’t filled with admiration or realization, they were wide with brows knit togather in worry.
A brutal jolt struck her heart.
No... no, don’t look at me like that...
The next moment, a roar ripped from Mylo’s throat as he violently charged head-first into the horde, challenging every single monster to protect her.
Standing there motionless in the smoke, watching him bleed and hack his way through the beasts just to shield her, Tritia finally accepted the breaking truth.
Mylo will never become her master.
He will never form the soulbind with her.
She turned on her heel and dashed away at full speed, dropping instantly to all fours. She bounded effortlessly from tree to tree, moving with a supernatural agility that easily outpaced even the Tkerns.
Hot tears streamed down her cheeks, instantly whipped away into the wind by the sheer velocity of her flight.
She reached the cave, retreated straight to her usual dark corner, and collapsed onto the stone floor, pulling her knees tight to her chest and burying her face entirely between her legs.
"Hmm... why? Why won’t you make a soulbind with me?! What is it? Am I lacking?! Tell me...!"
She cried aloud, her raspy mumbles echoing off the cold stone walls of the cave.
"You had such caring eyes...’’
’’’...If that’s the case, then why won’t you take me under you if you care about me?!’’
’’And if you don’t...!"
Hic, hic...
"If you don’t care about me, then don’t look at me with those eyes!"
She buried her head deeper into her legs, curling into a tight, trembling ball.
I want to be with you too, but you won’t accept me. How can I stay with you if you don’t even want to form the contract? Am I that worthless? Have I failed to even amount to being a slave?! Was everything I learned in my life just a waste... nothing useful to you? Tell me... ME!
She continued to cry in the reddish cave, the faint glowing walls absorbing her voice.
Slowly, her desperate sobbing dried up, leaving only the quiet, brittle sound of sniffing in the empty cave.
Suddenly, a searing agony violently clamped around her heart.
’’Ahn!’’
She collapsed onto the floor, clutching her chest as a choked scream of agony tore from her throat.
Her dry eyes couldn’t even produce tears anymore, instead, they bulged outward as if they were going to burst right out of her skull.
She thrashed wildly across the ground, squirming and slamming into the walls as if her very soul was being ripped in half. The pain was beyond anything she had ever endured. After minutes of brutal contortions, her body finally gave out, and she blacked out.
When Tritia opened her eyes, her breath came in heavy, ragged gasps.
Yet no matter how hard she inhaled, it felt like there wasn’t enough air in the world to fill her lungs.
She dragged herself back into her dark corner, her limbs trembling.
...What? What is this happening? Why can’t he just become my mast-
Her body violently stood up on its own.
Her head snapped upward toward the ceiling, her pupils dilating into wide, vacant pools.
Words echoed in her mind.
