Chapter 92: 92.I accepted our bind-4

Recognizing the shift, Mylo let out a slow, steady breath, pressing a lingering kiss to the crown of her head before gently releasing her.

Tritia degectedly brushed her hands against his chest, closing eyes for a second and feeling something before releasing herself.

Keeping his expression soft with a smile he handed the sleek suit over to her.

"I’ll see you in five days," Mylo said quietly.

’’Hmm, I’ll be waiting.’’

Grabbing the suit, she stood up creating a distance between them. Mylo gave one last ruffling to her hair before stepping back up.

His eyes darted around the cave, before settling on Tritia. Her hands were tightly holding the suit. Her figure from the first time he saw her overlapped with the present Tritia in his vission.

There were barely any similarities. Shaking his head he smiled to himself.

Mental command issued, he called out to his interface.

System. Return to Earth.

Space distorted directly behind him. A heavy, ink-black orb materialized out of thin air, expanding instantly to swallow his frame whole before collapsing back into nothingness.

The cave fell completely silent, leaving Tritia standing alone by the crackling fire.

Tritia stared at the empty space where Mylo had been standing just moments before.

The small leather sack she had been wearing slipped from her fingers, dropping silently onto the cold cavern floor.

The red flickering fire cast long, dancing shadows across her thin frame. Slowly, she raised a hand, running her palm over her soft skin. The wounds, jagged scars, and bone-deep fatigue from her long survival in Narak were entirely gone. Her skin felt smooth, warm, and entirely whole.

She looked down at the dark, reddish-black protective suit in her hands.

I need to understand my abilities... hmm...

It’s hard to distinguish spell words... I ascended two times quickly after all...

Hmm... he didn’t do anything... even though we are mates...

He should atleast try to do something...

Does he not like this body...hmm...

Stepping out of her ragged clothes, she pulled the body-tight suit over her limbs. The high-grade material molded instantly to her skin, lightweight yet incredibly resilient.

Her thoughts drifted back to Mylo, his practical nature, his blunt honesty, and the vast gap in strength that she could feel being created in the future.

He has gotten so strong without ascending... Even after hunting so many monsters...

His growth rate was astonishing to her. She could not remember anyone with just a single name beside Pariah, who would be able to beat Mylo.

Hmm... I am sure he is going to become way stronger!

So I also need to keep up!

As her focus deepened, a subtle shift rippled through her body.

A faint, crimson luminescence began to glow from the ends of her vibrant red hair.

The quiet Pran within her core surged, expanding outward through her newly healed channels. Her small, thin frame began to visibly transform.

Her posture shifted as her limbs lengthened and filled out. Her legs grew thicker and firmly toned, her hips widening as her frame matured. Her small chest expanded beneath the tight reddish-black suit, her entire body developing into the full stature of a mature woman.

The ambient warmth in the cavern spiked as her Pran stabilized at the higher threshold.

Tritia raised her right hand and lightly flicked her fingers. The crackling fire extinguished instantly, the open flame vanishing into a thin wisp of smoke.

Only the faint, natural red glow of the cave walls remained.

Crossing her legs, Tritia sat down directly on the cold stone floor. She rested her hands lightly on her knees, closed her eyes, and let her breathing slow to a steady, rhythmic pulse as she entered a state of deep concentration.

The dark, ink-black orb released Mylo before dissolving completely into the morning air.

He stood at the edge of the quiet forest, right where he had left. The Leh lake stretched far across the glade, its mirror-like surface rippling as a sharp wind blew through the trees.

Finally... I’m back...

He didn’t give himself time for idle contemplation. Forcing his muscles to move, Mylo grabbed his bag, slung it over his shoulder, and started walking through the woods.

On the distant horizon, the very faint glow of early sunlight was just beginning to break.

The cold forest wind cut directly through his clothes, his shirt and pants were torn, shredded in multiple places from his brutal fights in Narak.

Maybe I should use the coat?

Calling upon his interface, Mylo withdrew the long coat from his Storage and pulled it on over his tattered clothes. A faint smile twitched at the corner of his lips.

Thankfully, I can pull items from Narak to Earth.

He stashed his backpack into the Storage grid, then focused his mind on the artifact. He commanded the coat to alter its appearance.

Responding to his thought, the heavy leather coat shifted its texture, thinning out as its color faded into a simple, muted gray. It settled neatly over his frame, covering his tattered clothes entirely.

Mylo flexed his arms, equal parts satisfied and surprised.

Even though my active skills are sealed on Earth, I can still use artifacts and accessories...

He stroked his chin thoughtfully as he walked.

This is going to make things much easier going forward. If I can buy artifacts from the Store and bring them here, I’ll have a massive advantage. The only problem is the Gold.

Mylo called up his System balance.

[GOLD: 0]

He tapped the balance counter. A small conversion note expanded beneath it:

[1 Gold = $1,000 USD]

Mylo’s jaw tightened. "Damn it... isn’t this plain robbery? How am I supposed to collect that much money?"

Sighing, he shook his head in disappointment and kept moving toward the treeline.

As he approached the main road, a figure caught his attention in the dim morning light.

Mylo stopped dead in his tracks. He instinctively pressed a hand against his chest, right over his heart, before a faint smile broke across his face.

He stepped out from the cover of the trees into the open road.

Braden was sitting slumped on the dirty concrete footpath. Sitting not too far from him was Peter.

The moment Peter spotted him, his eyes widened. He jumped up in pure excitement, shouting across the quiet road.

"You’re here, motherfucker! Finally, you’re back!" Peter turned to Braden, waving his arms wildly. "See, Braden?! I wasn’t fucking lying!"
