"Prepare yourself, because you’re going back to the Elf War Kingdom to deliver my message to them..."
"A message! What message?" Orion looked toward Vaelor, surprised by this sudden change in events.
Vaelor returned his gaze, but with a rigid expression. "You will deliver this to them: I am Vaelor Valckar, the Ancestor of the Elves in this era. I invite them to come under my banner and wing. What is ours is theirs, and what is upon us is upon them. If they obey, they shall receive my benevolence and be spared my wrath. But if they rebel, let them await my vengeance and fury."
Orion’s eyes trembled upon hearing this, and he muttered with difficulty, "They won’t like this tone!"
"You know what you have to do." Vaelor nodded firmly, signaling the end of the matter and making it clear that he had already made his decision.
"I can’t promise you anything, but all I can say is that I will do everything in my power and give it my all. I hope they will listen to me!" Orion shrugged and said helplessly!
"Good. That’s exactly what I want from you." Vaelor nodded and patted Orion’s shoulder with a smile.
On the side, amid the tension between Vaelor and Orion, Ayat’s eyes were shining with excitement!
The Elves had been urging Vaelor for months to take action and seek revenge against the kingdoms that had attacked them and played a part in the recent war, but Vaelor had always refused and said that he was waiting for the sign!
Even after Vaelor gave them the training methods of the Soul Path, allowing ten thousand Elves to practice those techniques and revealing that they possessed talent in the Soul Path, in addition to one hundred of them breaking through and opening the First Gate, including Imris, Vaelor’s answer remained the same!
Vaelor himself had broken through to the Third Gate, equivalent to Level Six, yet even with this level of strength, he continued to repeat that he was waiting for the sign!
Whenever they asked him what that sign was, he would always say that he would know it as soon as he saw it!
"My Liege, if you permit me, will you finally begin the invasion!" Ayat bowed and asked hurriedly!
"No, I won’t take action against anything. The sign has not appeared yet." Vaelor shook his head, slightly surprised by Ayat’s question.
"Forgive my ignorance and rudeness, My Liege, but may I know why?" Ayat knelt on one knee and lowered her face toward the ground before continuing...
"The entire army is equipped with Level Four equipment, and we have one hundred people equipped with Level Five equipment, not to mention the soldiers themselves." Ayat spoke hurriedly, suppressing her anger at being unable to take revenge on those who had attacked her homeland, while it was her king who was preventing them!
"Our soldiers have surpassed four hundred thousand and are approaching half a million. The weakest among them are at the peak of Level Three, while there are one hundred Soul Lords with a single Gate, whose strength is equivalent to Level Four experts. Not to mention that more than one hundred thousand are ready to break through to Level Four at any moment if you allow them to attempt it! With this level of power, even if we faced that army that destroyed our city half a year ago, we would crush them!"
Ayat gritted her teeth and spoke with hatred...
"We would crush them without even suffering. We would crush them without relying on any support or defensive Formation. We would crush them without even bothering Your Majesty to intervene. So why have you delayed our revenge until now without even giving us a reason to help us endure it!" Ayat knew she had crossed the line, but she could no longer remain silent after all this time. She had finally revealed what was inside her, and she did not regret it at all...
"Why don’t you tell them? Aren’t they your people in the end?" Orion smiled from the side and patted Vaelor’s back mockingly...
"I know you haven’t even completed your first year yet. You may think you’re a genius, and that’s true, but you still have a lot to learn about being a king. Suppressing everything inside you and carrying everything alone are not the qualities of a good leader." He then pointed toward Ayat...
"Let them be your support, not only in building your kingdom, but also in your problems, secrets, and aspirations. You won’t rule alone, and they aren’t emotionless machines. Giving them techniques and equipment would be enough if you wanted to build an organization that you controlled from behind the scenes without having any connection to them. But if you want to build a people over whom you are a true king, then you need to share much more than this!"
Vaelor’s eyes widened slightly as he looked toward Orion, but in the end, he nodded with a smile. "You know what? Most of the time, I feel like you’re nothing more than a huge, muscle-bound idiot blessed with exceptional talent. But there are times when I feel like your mind and way of thinking are bigger than your muscles!"
"I know, I know. Narrow-minded people always say that to me!" Orion nodded proudly, only to suddenly find himself hanging upside down, bound by branches that had sprouted from the ground!
"Well, you do become rude and long-tongued quite often too!" Vaelor waved his hand, then looked toward Ayat with a smile...
"I didn’t want to tell you this before because I didn’t want to discourage you, but what we are fighting isn’t merely a bunch of random races. They are higher entities that we know nothing about, specifically an entity called the Lord!"
Vaelor explained some of his reasons to Ayat based on the information he had gathered from some of the prisoners he had captured during the war, in addition to the information that the Tree of Cradle had left behind, which Vaelor had obtained from Orion...
"This Lord is spreading his influence across the continent on a massive scale, and simply leaving the City of Light and distancing yourselves from it would already be a danger and a problem. Every time I make up my mind to begin the invasion, I get a strange feeling of warning, dreams meant to warn me, and premonitions that there is a suitable time approaching for this."
"So, before the influence of that so-called Lord disappears, and before I receive the sign to begin our move in the near future, we will simply continue developing without openly invading anyone!"
