But whenever he looked down and saw what King Vaelor had done to protect the City of Light from future dangers, he would immediately feel safe....

After the war, and after Vaelor began rebuilding the City of Light, he had a sudden realization once after comprehending the Law of Wood. At that time, Vaelor did something this world had never witnessed before!

Using the Law of Genesis, Vaelor absorbed the trees within a radius of more than thirty kilometers, then gathered all those trees, fused them together, and created a gigantic tree with them. In fact, the word gigantic was an understatement!

He created an enormous tree made entirely out of trees! A tree that reached three hundred meters in height and carried the entire City of Light above it!

And all that area that had previously been filled with trees so dense that one could not see through them, Vaelor had transformed into green plains that allowed clear visibility. The nearest forest to the City of Light was now dozens of kilometers away, and it was the very forest that was burning now!

The City of Light had now become more like a flying fortress, extremely resistant to all forms of invasion from the Elves’ point of view!

In the royal garden, Ayat’s eyes widened as she looked at Vaelor, who was smiling in the face of that catastrophe!

He was not pretending, nor was he feigning bravery. He was genuinely happy! His eyes were shining at this moment with true happiness and intense excitement!

"My Liege, do you see something in this catastrophe that we cannot see?!" Ayat asked after finally gathering her courage and calming herself down. From the side, Orion also looked at him curiously!

Vaelor turned toward them and finally regained his focus, then took two objects from his ring that resembled blue pearls and handed them to Orion and Ayat....

"Why don’t you try using these and break through to Level Four!"

Both Orion and Ayat held the pearls and looked at each other in astonishment. Then Orion raised his eyebrow and looked at Vaelor. "Do you want to kill us? We aren’t like you; we can break through the tribulation. Our weapons and bodies won’t be of any use in overcoming it. It relies entirely on our ability to use the laws, and those capable of breaking through it must have an Immortal bloodline at the very least!"

Vaelor did not answer them and simply continued looking at them with a smile, until Ayat finally nodded. "I’ll do it!"

Orion looked at her in surprise, but he also gritted his teeth and waved his hand toward Vaelor. "Forget it, you’re the one who will take responsibility if anything happens to me!"

Vaelor did not reply to him and merely gave a simple nod.

Ayat and Orion sat cross-legged, each holding a blue pearl the size of a goose egg, and immediately closed their eyes and entered a state of deep meditation!

There were two conditions for reaching Level Four....

First, one had to comprehend at least 10% of the first stage of one of the laws, in order to know how to guide the law toward the core and merge it with it. In this regard, both Orion and Ayat had completely fulfilled the condition.

Not to mention 10%, both of them completely understood the first stage of the cosmic Law of Formation at 100% after spending all this time comprehending and studying it.

As for the second condition, a catalyst had to be used during the breakthrough in order to temporarily stimulate that law to its fullest, thereby eliminating the incompatibility and making the process of merging the law with the core easier.

And the blue pearls Vaelor had given to Orion and Ayat were the appropriate catalysts, saturated with the cosmic Law of Formation, which he had created after conducting several studies on this law!

Orion and Ayat sat meditating and devoured the catalysts, beginning to absorb them before they started merging the law with their cores. After ten minutes, their heads were covered in sweat, but Orion soon opened his eyes and clenched his fist tightly when he felt the immense power flowing within him. He smiled happily as he felt the difference between Level Three and Level Four in the Energy Path, then looked toward Vaelor with trembling eyes!

"There was no breakthrough tribulation!" Orion spoke toward Vaelor in disbelief and looked toward the sky. "But why?!"

Vaelor smiled and shook his head. "There was never supposed to be a tribulation for those attempting to reach Level Four in the first place, and you know this very well. As stated in the records of your kingdom and from what we obtained from the prisoners, reaching Level Four in the ancient era was a normal occurrence that happened without any tribulation. But after the ancient era, everything changed!" Vaelor explained smoothly and continued....

"The world imposed strange laws after the ancient era, but now that those laws have ceased to exist, reaching Level Four has become normal once again!"

"So that’s how it is!" Orion stroked his chin and nodded, then smiled and stood up from his place. "Forget about that. Now that I am also at Level Four of the Energy Path like you, I wonder just how big the difference between us is!"

Orion stood directly in front of Vaelor and struck his fist against his palm, declaring a challenge.

Vaelor looked at the Elf who was taller than him and smiled confidently, then held his chin and appeared to be seriously thinking. "I wonder how big the difference between us has become now?" Vaelor muttered seriously, then looked toward Orion and smiled. "In your opinion, how many blows from me can you withstand with your current strength?"

"Hmm!" Orion furrowed his brows and looked as though he were trying to solve a complicated mathematical equation, then looked toward Vaelor again. "Well, if we calculate based on what I saw from you during your fight against that Giant, and if we say that you haven’t improved much since then, and compare it to the extent of my strength that I can feel now after the breakthrough, then I would say I can withstand ten blows from you before I start running away!" Orion nodded his head vigorously, as though what he had concluded was the most realistic and logical calculation anyone could possibly come up with....

Ten blows from Vaelor, and Orion was actually praising himself for that. No one knew the true strength of Vaelor better than he did. Not to mention Vaelor himself. Orion wasn’t even confident that he could face that Titan whom Vaelor had crushed during the war, and whose soul had afterward become his servant.
