After Achieving Invincibility, I Set Out to Destroy Sects

The demonic forces were soon gathered together again. The participants were wondering what was so urgent as to gather all of them on such short notice.

The strongest demonic faction sect leader who had received the news began, "My sect has sent out people to inquire about the Eastern region. This group of people sent has come back with unfortunate news. All the demonic sects who went to the Eastern Region have been wiped out and the situation now seems dangerous. I suggest we find a way to deal with the situation now before it gets worse."

The group of demonic cultivators who had gathered were surprised by so many demonic cultivators dying. Even though the group that went to the Eastern Region was by far the weakest group among those present, they were still a considerable force.

For them to all die so quickly is very strange. This made those who have gathered wonder just what is in the Eastern Region that is so powerful.

Though hearing the strongest faction’s suggestion met many criticisms as to why they keep poking at a hornet's nest that hasn't targeted them yet. The force in the Eastern Region has been keeping to themselves and didn’t even stop the expansion of the demonic sect when it happened, so they can’t be hostile.

There were also ones who agreed and fought back against the criticism. These people reasoned that such means can’t be used indefinitely, so they haven’t expanded probably due to replenishing their means and can’t come out right now. "If we leave them as is, what if they attack us someday when they have grown strong?"

The two sides fought fiercely for their belief as both had strong points about whether to attack or not attack. As no one could agree with the situation, the group then broke in half between going to attack and just letting things remain the way they are.

The group that decided to not intervene went back to their territories as they wanted to finish construction and rule the land that is in their territory, as they no longer needed to hide.

Those who decided to attack decided they would go and prepare as many treasures as possible for combat and life-saving treasures just in case unexpected situations happened in the Eastern Region.

After a month of preparation, the demonic factions that wanted to invade gathered again and flew to the Eastern Region as a giant force who had a goal to eliminate the force in the Eastern Region.

The demonic sects were confident that they were more than strong enough to face this powerful enemy as they brought so many secret weapons that it is unlikely that they couldn’t use all these treasures to force a favorable outcome. As they flew towards the Eastern Region, wherever they crossed, mortals and low-level cultivators alike cowered in fear as the demonic cultivators were nearby.

Meanwhile, in the Invincible Cloud sect, Jiang Yun was leisurely chatting with the women in the sect about various topics such as cultivation, how things are going, what’s happening outside, or whatever they could think of.

Jiang Yun then felt the presence of people were approaching his sect. These people had the same feeling as the people who invaded before, so Jiang Yun assumed they were a part of the same group. Jiang Yun decided to go intercept them and left the sect again. The women who were talking with him wondered what Jiang Yun was doing leaving so suddenly.

As these women know how powerful Jiang Yun was, they didn’t think much of it. They then decided to go back to their conversation as they waited for Jiang Yun to come back.

As the group of demonic cultivators were getting closer, they came towards the Invincible Cloud sect as the sects they sent told them that the only powerful sect left was this sect. Not to mention, the first sect to die with the oldest traces of battle with demonic cultivators was near this sect’s territory. So, the conclusion made was the trouble all started with this sect.

This sect according to the scouts was mysterious; they still had powerful cultivators left from what they could see. Every other sect has all their powerful cultivators die and only Nascent Souls and below were left. So, this sect is very strange and probably had some kind of mysterious power which led the demonic sects to search it first.

As the group got closer and could finally see the Invincible Cloud sect in front of them, Jiang Yun appeared in front of them. A very ordinary-looking man with long black hair who you would assume was an ordinary mortal if it weren’t for the fact that he was floating in front of them and came out of nowhere.

The group was perplexed at where this man came from and could only stop to understand the situation. One of the demonic cultivators in the group then asked, "Who are you and why have you stopped us? Can’t you see we are here to do something important? If you don’t explain well, don’t think you’ll get off easily."

Jiang Yun after coming was observing the group in front of him as they were a far more powerful group than the demonic cultivators that had come before. Jiang Yun then wondered if they were really the same group as the ones that came before.

Having not answered the demonic cultivator's question due to trying to finish his thoughts, the demonic cultivator who asked the question became furious. As he was a demonic cultivator, he had no moral compass that prevented him from killing, so the demonic cultivator upon being disrespected immediately used a lethal attack to kill Jiang Yun.

When the attack came close and was about to hit Jiang Yun, and everyone thought the man was finished and would turn into a mist of blood, nothing happened. The attack did nothing to the man whatsoever, so that the person who attacked was very puzzled at what happened. He wondered if he missed his attack and decided to try again. This time too, nothing happened, so the demonic cultivator tried even harder.

While the demonic cultivator was attacking, Jiang Yun was finishing his thoughts. As he couldn’t figure out who these people were, he decided it didn’t matter as these people are probably here to attack just like the last group.

So, after Jiang Yun finished thinking, he slapped the demonic cultivator who was attacking him, instantly turning the demonic cultivator into a mist of blood. The demonic cultivators present were surprised as this normal-looking man just did something so brutal so casually.

Another demonic cultivator wanting to prove himself suddenly jumped out saying, "I’ll have a go at him, that trash from before was far too weak."

After flying towards Jiang Yun confident he could kill the man, he then was frozen in place. In the next moment, he exploded in the air out of nowhere. The rest of the demonic cultivators suddenly realized the man in front of them was truly not normal, making them attack the man all at once.

Unfortunately for the demonic cultivators, anyone who entered a certain range of Jiang Yun immediately exploded and turned into a mist of blood. This was Jiang Yun playing around with this group of demonic cultivators as there was nothing to do lately and this was his time to get some fresh air after staying with the women every day for so long now.

Though it's nice to have these women around, talking with them every day gets somewhat tiring. So, Jiang Yun wanted to have some fun in this situation.

Seeing all the people in front of them dying, the demonic cultivators realized they shouldn’t get too close and transitioned to shooting ranged attacks. Jiang Yun seeing that they were finished decided to stop messing around and started killing the rest of the demonic cultivators.

Soon all the demonic cultivators had died except for the one who looked like a leader in Jiang Yun’s eyes as he was the strongest person present. In this situation, the man was cowering in fear at Jiang Yun, not expecting such a monstrous person to exist.

Jiang Yun then asked, "Do you have any last words for coming here?"

The man then said in a frightened voice, trying hard not to stutter, "We were only here to explore."

Jiang Yun not wanting to hear this nonsense then killed the last demonic cultivator and as the situation was over went back to the Invincible Cloud sect.

Soon news of what had happened was spread and a new change happened throughout the regions.
