After Achieving Invincibility, I Set Out to Destroy Sects

Soon after returning, Ning Nuo asked Jiang Yun what had happened. Jiang Yun replied that everything was fine and the situation had been resolved.

Jiang Yun then asked, "Since you have been in the Immortal realm now, how do you like it?"

Ning Nuo replied, "This place is so lonely now that nobody is here with me. How about staying in the mortal world until the others are about to ascend?"

Jiang Yun thought about it and replied, "Alright then, let's go down now."

Jiang Yun then brought Ning Nuo back down to the mortal world.

Once they descended using the torn space Jiang Yun had created before, Ning Nuo instantly felt the restriction imposed by the lower world. She felt like she could be ejected from the world at any time.

Jiang Yun, seeing her struggle, spread out his dao aura and controlled the rules of the dao using his Harmonization Dao realm to allow Ning Nuo to stay in the mortal realm freely.

Ning Nuo then instantly felt the difference, as she felt much lighter.

Ning Nuo asked, "What did you just do? Why do I no longer feel like the world is suppressing me?"

Jiang Yun replied, "I just changed the rules of the lower world to allow you to stay as long as you want."

Ning Nuo couldn’t understand how Jiang Yun could talk about something so impressive so casually. She decided not to ask further, as it was beyond her comprehension.

Soon after coming back, the other members of the sect came out, hearing sounds coming from the main hall. They then surrounded Ning Nuo since she was back and asked about the Immortal realm.

Jiang Yun allowed the girls to talk as he continued to study arrays.

Over the next month, Jiang Yun continued to improve his array formation skills and was now at the Tribulation Transformation level of array formation.

Ever since breaking through to the Harmonization Dao realm, it has become significantly easier for Jiang Yun to progress in array formations.

During this time, Jiang Yun spread several formations around the sect, such as detection arrays as well as spiritual energy gathering arrays. The already dense area was now filled with even more spiritual energy.

Due to this, the members of the sect had grown in strength significantly, as in just a month, everyone jumped at least a major realm in cultivation.

Tang Mei and Nangong Yu had reached the Half-Immortal realm and were attempting to break through to the Loose Immortal realm.

Bai Yue and Liu Ying had reached the Half-Mahayana realm and were trying to break through to the Mahayana realm.

Hua Jing has reached the sixth level of the Tribulation Transformation realm, while Ning Yangran and Zhen Siqi have reached the first level of the Tribulation Transformation realm.

Song Yurong had reached the Soul Formation realm, while her maid Su Ming had reached the Golden Core realm.

Even Jiang Yun’s mother Zhuang Min had made significant progress and had reached the ninth level of the Soul Formation realm.

Everyone other than Ning Nuo had advanced, as she had stayed in the mortal realm because the Immortal realm was far too lonely.

Now that everyone was making steady progress, Jiang Yun thought it was about time to go back to the Immortal realm to prepare the sect, as more people were about to ascend.

Ning Nuo decided to follow along, and they both went back to the Immortal world.

After going through the portal Jiang Yun had made, they arrived directly at the Invincible Cloud Sect in the Immortal world this time.

Yet again, something was happening at the sect despite him only being away for a month.

Jiang Yun saw that Zhao Na was being surrounded and attacked by a group of people. Zhao Na was only an Earth Immortal, while the group surrounding her consisted of several Earth Immortals and even a Heaven Immortal.

Jiang Yun didn’t understand what had happened in just the month since he had been away, but he instantly decided to help.

As Zhao Na was still engaged in combat and clearly at a disadvantage, Jiang Yun instantly appeared in front of her to block all the attacks.

All the attacks the aggressors made instantly did nothing, as these low-level attacks could never harm Jiang Yun. The people surrounding Zhao Na were confused as to where the man in front of them had suddenly come from, as he appeared out of nowhere.

The Heaven Immortal who was watching from the side to make sure Zhao Na didn’t escape was also perplexed as to where Jiang Yun had come from, since he had kept his eyes on the battle the entire time.

The Heaven Immortal asked, "Who are you, and how dare you get involved in the Golden Sun Merchant Association’s business? If you don’t give a reasonable answer, we will kill you just like the woman behind you."

Jiang Yun then turned to Zhao Na and asked, "What happened in the month since I left that got you into this situation?"

Zhao Na replied, "Ever since my father woke up, he has taken charge of the merchant association again. In this short month since he retook control, the Red Lion Merchant Association has regained some of its former power and is continuing to grow."

Zhao Na then turned, pointed to the group surrounding her, and continued, "These people are from another merchant association that doesn't want us to grow. Since my father is an Immortal King, they can’t outright attack him. Instead, they targeted me as I was an easy target."

Jiang Yun then started to understand the situation. These merchant associations didn’t care before, as the Red Lion Merchant Association was dying rapidly, so there was no point in getting involved.

Now that the merchant association was growing rapidly again, they could no longer stand by and watch. They needed to kill this weakened lion quickly before it continued to recover.

Since this was the case, Zhao Na was indeed the perfect target, as she was the former head of the merchant association and could be leveraged once she was caught. Once they got what they needed, they could just kill her and her father, thereby eliminating future trouble.

Jiang Yun then had another question and asked, "Then what are you doing here instead of staying with your father? It should be much safer with your father around."

The Heaven Immortal, who had seen Jiang Yun being so casual about the situation instead of complying, was starting to get impatient. He was a dignified Heaven Immortal who, though not exceptionally strong, was still respectable.

Being humiliated like this despite being part of a high-level merchant association was simply unbearable.

Since Jiang Yun wasn’t respecting his authority, the Heaven Immortal decided to take things into his own hands and attack personally. The Heaven Immortal then formed a giant hand made of Immortal energy and shot it at Jiang Yun.

Jiang Yun, seeing the attack, was unbothered and sent his own energy hand made of Dao energy. The two hands collided, resulting in Jiang Yun’s energy hand easily ripping through the Heaven Immortal’s energy hand and going straight towards him.

The Heaven Immortal, seeing his attack destroyed so easily, was momentarily stunned. He quickly snapped out of it as the energy hand Jiang Yun made came straight at him.

The Heaven Immortal made a shield using his Immortal energy and fully expected it to block such a casual attack from Jiang Yun.

In the next moment, before the Heaven Immortal could react, the energy hand broke the shield and smashed the Heaven Immortal into a bloody mess, instantly killing him and sending him into the distant forest.

The Earth Immortals still watching from the side were confused as to what had just happened. Such an unassuming man in front of them had just killed their leader.

The group instantly realized they were in danger and started to run away. The moment they tried to escape, they were stuck as if an invisible wall was in front of them.

Another moment later, Jiang Yun sent out several more energy hands that killed the rest of the Earth Immortals, sending their bloody bodies into the distant forest.

After finishing, Jiang Yun turned to Zhao Na again and said, "Since you are here now, I welcome you to my sect. You can come with us to the main hall."

Zhao Na was somewhat embarrassed that the trouble she brought was solved by Jiang Yun. She had come here to repay him, and yet she was becoming further indebted instead.

Zhao Na then quickly followed Jiang Yun and Ning Nuo, as she still had some things she wanted to talk about despite her embarrassment.
