After Achieving Invincibility, I Set Out to Destroy Sects

Soon after arriving at the main hall, the three sat down to talk.

Zhao Na began by saying, "Thank you for helping me again. I want to repay you for all that you have done, so just say anything you want and I’ll do it."

Jiang Yun replied, "I don’t need anything. Helping you took no effort, so there is no need to repay."

Zhao Na didn’t want to just let it go, so she said, "How about I join your sect then? This place seems kind of barren right now, and I can liven things up."

Jiang Yun then thought about it, as this wasn’t a bad idea. In the upper world, the sect is very empty right now, and Ning Nuo can get lonely. Having an extra companion could be nice.

After all the help that Jiang Yun had received from Zhao Na back when he was still cultivating, there was no need for a sect trial to test her character. So, after some quick thought, Jiang Yun agreed.

Ning Nuo, listening from the side, remarked, "Welcome to the Invincible Cloud sect. We will welcome you warmly in the future."

Zhao Na replied, "Please take care of me in the future. Also, if you need anything in the future, you can just ask me, and I’ll try my best."

As things were now settled, Jiang Yun stood up, as he had business to attend to. He had a goal for coming to the upper world, and it was time to do it.

Jiang Yun said to the two women, "I have something to do, so you girls can just stay here and talk."

After saying what he needed, Jiang Yun disappeared from their sight. The two women, seeing that Jiang Yun had left, decided to talk, as they wanted to share the information they had about Jiang Yun.

Jiang Yun appeared at the edge of the Invincible Cloud sect. He then used his Harmonization Dao realm to change the rules of the Dao to bless this land with rich Immortal energy.

Soon, Immortal energy started to flood into the sect, becoming so dense it almost looked like fog. After the initial fog, the Immortal energy settled down, and the area became visible again, though with very rich Immortal energy.

After finishing, Jiang Yun started to set arrays around the sect to protect it from minor danger and to detect intruders in the future.

During the time he was away from this territory, the sect had been invaded twice. In the future, there needs to be a better security system to prevent such things from happening.

After finishing, Jiang Yun decided to deal with the Golden Sun merchant association. Now that Jiang Yun had killed their people, they will eventually come to investigate.

Jiang Yun wanted to deal with them now instead of waiting for them to come to the sect. This was due to how vulnerable the sect is right now, considering if Jiang Yun decides to go on an outing, anyone can come to cause trouble.

The only people in the sect right now were Ning Nuo, who is a Loose Immortal, and Zhao Na, who is an Earth Immortal. They are technically at the bottom of the Immortal world, and anyone could basically kill them.

Settling trouble now can save trouble in the future. If Jiang Yun was ever busy with other things and couldn’t come back in time these troublemakers could cause a lot of damage.

So, Jiang Yun quickly searched for where the merchant association was with his new Harmonizing Dao realm power and disappeared from the Invincible Cloud sect.

Soon, Jiang Yun appeared outside the Golden Sun merchant association and was observing the building that he was about to destroy. The building was very richly decorated, as a lot of wealth was put into it.

Jiang Yun could feel how wealthy the Golden Sun merchant association had built up, so their arrogance made sense. Normally, this kind of group can run rampant in the Immortal world, but they offended Jiang Yun today.

As Jiang Yun was observing, one of the guards found Jiang Yun was suspicious and started to approach.

The guard asked, "Are you a customer or are you here to make trouble?"

Jiang Yun didn’t respond, as the guard was far too weak to pose a threat. This made the guard assume that Jiang Yun was an intruder and started to take out his weapon to solve the disturbance.

As Jiang Yun still wasn’t reacting to the threats, the guard decided not to wait anymore and took action. His weapon came at Jiang Yun, intending to kill the intruder that had appeared in front of the merchant association.

Once the attack landed, it did nothing, as the weapon stopped inches away from Jiang Yun’s body. The guard continued to struggle, as he didn’t believe using more strength couldn’t kill the man in front of him.

After trying for a little longer, Jiang Yun was done observing and decided to act. Jiang Yun started to raise his hand to counterattack the guard.

The guard suddenly felt intense fear, as all his senses told him he was about to die. The guard decided to stop trying to attack and call for help.

The guard started yelling, "We have an intruder, quickly surround and apprehend him."

Once the guard finished, many other guards came out of the merchant association and surrounded Jiang Yun. The next moment, Jiang Yun ignored the guards and slapped the guard in front of him into a bloody mess.

The guards who had surrounded Jiang Yun took his actions as mocking them and started to charge forward. All the guards initially thought dealing with Jiang Yun was going to be easy with all the guards present.

The guards then stopped in place as Jiang Yun expanded his pressure, and all the guards were stuck in place. All the guards instantly felt the lingering feeling of death in that moment.

As Jiang Yun was about to make another move, someone started to come out of the merchant association, seemingly trying to stop Jiang Yun.

The man who came out was an elderly man at the Immortal King realm and was walking out casually as he expected the situation to be easily settled with his power.

The elderly man shouted, "Why are you causing trouble at my Golden Sun merchant association? I don’t remember ever offending you."

Jiang Yun replied, "You have offended me recently, as your merchant association has intruded upon my sect, trying to kill me."

The elderly man was surprised, as most people wouldn’t dare to talk back to him. Though the elderly man wasn’t the most famous, word should have gone around that he was a respectable Immortal King.

The elderly man, not wanting to affect business, started saying, "How about I compensate you then? We can let bygones be bygones and stop this hatred today."

The elderly man though had no intention of letting Jiang Yun go. Now that Jiang Yun has caused trouble for his merchant association, he would kill Jiang Yun later in secret.

Jiang Yun didn’t care about compromising and ignored the old man. He continued his attack on the guards as he condensed an energy hand to slap all the guards around him.

To make a spectacle, Jiang Yun intentionally made a big move and sent all guards flying everywhere, killing them instantly.

The elderly man now felt humiliated as his offer for peace was ignored. As his reputation was now on the line, he had no intention of holding back anymore.

Seeing Jiang Yun had some power to back his actions, the elderly man sent a full-force energy hand towards Jiang Yun.

Jiang Yun repelled the energy hand with a simple slap, which caused the energy hand to disintegrate. The elderly man suddenly felt fear now that he knew Jiang Yun was not an easy opponent.

To so easily destroy his strongest attack, the elderly man knew he wasn’t an opponent for Jiang Yun. The initial arrogance was now gone, as the elderly man no longer had any intention of fighting.

The elder man then offered, "How about I compensate you handsomely for your troubles? I will give you an amount you can’t refuse, so how about we put water under the bridge?"

Jiang Yun countered his offer by sending a powerful energy hand made of Dao energy toward the elderly man. Upon contact, the elderly man couldn’t even react before turning into a mist of blood.

The energy hand continued and hit the building of the Golden Sun merchant association, which exploded on impact. Jiang Yun then sent a larger energy hand toward the building to make sure it was completely flattened.

After the second strike, what remained of the Golden Sun merchant association was rubble where nothing remained, and anyone inside was killed.

Jiang Yun now felt satisfied and disappeared to head back to the Invincible Cloud sect.

What remained as Jiang Yun disappeared were the onlookers who had witnessed everything. These people couldn’t comprehend what they saw and were amazed by the strength Jiang Yun had.

One person among the crowd though wasn’t as amazed but instead had other thoughts.

The person then removed her hood, showing a delicate beauty with long, glossy black hair.

The delicate beauty then said to her servant, "This is the kind of person I want to take as my master. Quickly go find him and tell him I want to be his disciple."

The servant quickly left to inquire for information as the delicate beauty waited to hear the good news.
