Leo finished speaking and he leaned back in his chair. The hall fell silent, the people could not understand what to say, because the things Leo said were blunt, disrespectful, however, they were true. The people looked at each other, but they could not reply. They were suffocated by the domineering attitude from Lord Cardinal at the moment.

One after the other the people nodded and then some of them replied in affirmation. Leo turned to look at the man from the eagle nation who was silent. The young man thought for a bit and asked, "Governor Hailey, what are you thinking about? Is the propaganda that you promote in your nation more valuable than the life?"

The man sighed and replied, "Sir, I have no intention to flame the feud between two nations, but the problem lies in the internal conflict of the Congress. There are some old leaders who refuse to listen to reason, they place their ego above anything and they are not shy in spending money to retain their followers, even the President is dependant on these people."

Leo frowned and so did the other people, they could understand that politics was complicated, but they did not expect it to be like this. The young man took a deep breath and replied, "I would like to remind you all that you are the people in government and the thing that you do is govern and not play politics. The government should be able to handle petty politicians if they really want to."

Hailey sighed and replied, "What can we even do, these fucking people are too deeply rooted in the system."

Leo replied, "Sometimes when I buy roses for my wife, some thorns escape the florists sight. So what I do is to take a pair of scissors and clean them from the stem. Your garden has thorns and to protect your families, it is time you do a deep clean your garden, even if it gets gory or bloody, for the sake of future and a united human race, such thorns must be eliminated. I assure you, none of such things would be found in the Clover Nation, yes having different opinions is normal, but as long as His Majesty is the beacon, the people will follow the lead. Your greedy politicians shall be replaced by leaders. I hope you understand the difference between the two."

The people exchanged gazes, all the big power countries in the room represented the interests of a democracy or communist nation apart from three that were still constitutional monarchy. The two of them went back and forth on pleasing each other, but at this moment, Elle and Julian turned to look at Leo and they smiled, Elle said, "Baba, play, piano?"

Leo smiled, he squatted down to match her eye level and asked, "Okay, but what should I play?"

The twins were sitting on baby chairs, to make sure that they don’t fall. Julian replied, "Phooish."

He could not pronounce the word properly, but with the baby lingo cheat active, Leo could understand, and said, "You mean, Phoenix?"

Julian nodded and repeated, "That, one."

Leo chuckled and poked his nose gently before he did the same to Elle before he stood up and asked, "Your Highness, may I?"

The little princess nodded and gestured for him to play the piano. Leo walked over, sat down on the stool, and after adjusting his posture, he began to play the song. The music was soft and poignant, but that only lasted till he reached the bridge, and then the tune and tempo began to pick up the pace.

This song was something that he had played many times for the children it depicts the story of a bird that got burned by the flames of its own limitation and then it was born again to chase the high skies and ride the tailwinds. The young man didn’t stop playing and he monitored how the twins bobbed their heads to the music, they have caught this skill from him and Lily practicing.

Amare was standing beside the twins and she was shocked to find that the twins who could barely speak a full sentence were able to sense the music and follow the scale like this. However, then upon thinking she found that this was only normal after all, they were too smart for their age, after all, what kind of child can speak sensible words when they are just an year over? These two communicated with broken words but they always spoke with meaning.

When the song came to an end, Amare asked, "My lord, can you teach me how to play this song on my Violin?"

Leo nodded and replied, "Yes, I will teach you, but after the meeting?"

Amare agreed and said, "I shall wait for it then."

At this moment, a voice echoed from the threshold of the gate, "Baba, I will play with Princess Amare."

Lily had come over to the palace from the school. Leo smiled and said, "Yes, that would be good."
