Leo sighed in his mind, he smiled at Lily and said, "Finally, my lucky star has arrived. It is good that you can play and teach Her Highness."

Lily walked over with a calm face, but Leo turned to look at Princess Amare and said, "Your Highness, you might be unaware, but this piece was written by Lily, and I only helped her with some annotations. Since you wish to learn, is it not better to learn from the creator herself. You will find that Lily has mastered the essence of this song."

Princess Amare turned to look at Lily and asked, "Lily is this true? Will you teach me? Please."

LIly smiled faintly and put down her bag as she said, "Yes, Your Highness I will teach you the whole song."

The Princess smiled and walked up to hold Lily’s hands and thanked her profusely, while the young man sighed and stood up from the stool before he came to crouch down before Lily and said, "LOve, I will make you the pasta you like, today Baba did something really crazy, just like you told me to."

Lily looked at him with curiosity, she didn’t know what Leo did, but she said, "I told you to? Hmmm, how to be strong in the meeting?"

Leo nodded and said, "Well, I might have overdone it but it is all fine now."

Lily looked at him with her eyes squinted gaze, and asked, "For real?"

Leo nodded and leaned in closer as he whispered in her ear, "Little Goblin you are suspicious of Baba. Naughty."

As he said that he tickled her, and Lily squirmed as she threw herself in his embrace while laughing. The twins also giggled when they saw the scene. Princess Amare was standing on the side with a faint smile on her face but her eyes were filled with longing. She also wanted someone to treat her like this and not like a crystal flower that might break if too much force is applied.

Lily saw this, and after Leo stopped tickling her, the man said, "I will go and cook, you guys have fun."

Lily walked up to Amare with her bright eyes sparkling around and the next moment, she tickled the Princess, who was shocked first and then the two girls began to play around like normal people and the twins just cheered for Lily and Amare as if they were watching a good fight.

In the kitchen of the Royal Palace, several staff members were shocked to see the dignified Lord Cardinal whisking up ingredients and turning them into a treat for the food lovers. The head chef who took pride in his job was standing on the side and almost wanted to kneel down, it was not that he had never seen the techniques that Leo had been using but because he found that Leo had mastered the essence and his techniques were not too ostentatious, it was all simple methods that made the cooking look easy, however, the addition of the ingredients and the heat control, the stirring of the sauce and everything looked perfect.

The head chef gulped and asked, "My Lord, may I have the privilege to taste a bite of this dish?"

Leo was surprised but then he smiled and said, "I have cooked enough for everyone, you can just take how much you want."

He didn’t pause when he was working and after pouring a full serve for the four children, then he placed them all on the trolley and pushed it towards the Music room. The maids wanted to help but Leo waved his hand and refused any help from them.

Leo pushed the trolley inside the room and he was surprised to see that his daughter has sent the Princess into a fit of laughter and the little royal figurehead was now wheezing to catch her breath. The young man sighed and said, "Lily, come have something to eat."

The two girls stood up from the chairs and they walked over to Leo after catching their breaths. They sat down on the side, on the benches and then they ate the pasta with great relish. Leo just watched it all from the side, and after a few minutes, a palace staff member walked in and bowed slightly as he said, "Lord Cardinal, His Majesty has called for you in the Great hall."

Leo thought for a bit and nodded before he replied, "Alright, I will go right away."

He turned and Lily gave him a thumbs up, she said, "I can handle things here Baba, you go, do grown up things."

Leo was speechless, he pecked her and the twins before he bowed to Amare and then he left the music room to see what was it that needed his presence.

THe young man walked inside the Great Hall, and then took a deep breath before he greeted the King and sat down in his old position, the head priest was missing, and Governor Hailey said, "Your Highness, I wonder if we can enlist the help of Clover Nation to clear up the people that are dead set to harm the public’s interests?"

The King silently turned to look at Leo Cardinal, who raised his brow and asked, "Give me the full list, a complete list of who is causing what kind of trouble and what can be done to replace them. I want it a complete thesis, and then it would be all settled, also, before you agree, allow me to tell you, the end of these people would be similar to their actions. If it is minor crimes they can be sent to the prison but if they were committing bigger crimes, they would be handled in accordance to the hatred code I feel. Are you okay with that?"

The words were blunt and the people froze, they didn’t expect Leo to be so inclined to the idea of killing someone. The young man didn’t mind the gazes pointed at him and he replied, "Look, we all are the top officials of the nation. At this moment, you are not talking to a businessman who owns a lot of business, I am a Knight who will answer the call of my King. My King allowed me to answer to you, so I will be truthful, political killing is not new, and we have seen it all happen through the history. This time, only one thing is different, the motive is way bigger than political leverage, it is about the survival of the race."

After a few minutes, the governor said, "The President predicted that it might come down to this, and so he gave me a complete control order. Meaning I can decide the fate of the people who needs to be culled. Initially I thought it would not be hard to forsake these deranged people, but now I feel a hesitation."

Leo nodded and replied, "This is the burden that we all must feel, our decisions impact not only us but the lives of many other people. This is why the seats that we serve are not just positions to achieve ambition, they are also positions that must be faced with out most responsibility. So, Governor Hailey, give me the answer after you have made up your mind. Until then I will not be taking part in the cooperation."

It was not Hailey, other people also stepped up, but they were not hesitant, they knew what they needed and what Leo was going to do, and so the strike team from the Pinnacle Securities was given a silent command, investigate everyone on the list of troublesome people.

The meeting came to an end, and Leo walked out of the Great Hall after all the diplomats left, he was half a step behind the king and the old man shook his head every few minutes, as he asked, "Leo, do you think it was good to be so blunt with them?"

Leo shrugged and replied, "Your Majesty, they are not children. They are guarding against us and we are guarding against them, however, this moment is crucial. If we just end up acting like their blades, we might get tricked to step in a pit too deep, however, if we manage to move carefully, we would be able to handle this smoothly and not only that, we would come out on top of it."

King Avalon nodded and said, "To think that as a King my political experience is so shallow."

Leo smiled and said, "Your Majesty, having a King with no political experience is a good think, you can focus on helping the people like the true Monarch."

The two of them were chatting while walking through the palace when they came to stop at the music room entrance and heard the Piano and Violin playing in sync with each other. They peeked inside and found that the two girls were playing in perfect harmony. King Avalon looked at his granddaughter’s visage and said, "Leo, for the future, it is worth it."

Leo nodded and replied, "Indeed, your majesty!"
