Bella parked the car in a corner of the parking lot before quickly getting out, looking impatient.
Layla and Mila followed after her, while Enzo was the last to step out.
"Come on, let’s go," Bella urged.
"I’ll just follow behind," Enzo replied.
Walking alongside three beautiful girls as the only man among them made him far too conspicuous. Even the so-called starboys didn’t have that kind of treatment.
"Why behind us? Are you embarrassed to be seen with us?" Bella teased with a light chuckle.
"I just don’t want other guys holding a grudge against me like George and the others," Enzo answered casually.
"What are you so afraid of?" Bella asked.
Enzo simply rolled his eyes and said nothing.
Only he knew how much trouble could be caused by another man’s jealousy.
He continued walking behind them, even deliberately slowing his pace.
At that moment, Layla and Mila realized just how close Bella and Enzo really were. No wonder Bella had always defended him so fiercely.
Even though he was walking behind them, Enzo still attracted plenty of attention as they approached the mall entrance.
Layla and Mila were certainly attractive, but they couldn’t compare to Bella, whose beauty rivaled that of any top model.
Her flawless face, flowing blonde hair, fair skin, and slender yet curvaceous figure captivated countless young men the moment they saw her.
At this hour, the mall was filled mostly with young people.
Beautiful young women dressed in all kinds of fashionable outfits could be seen everywhere, creating a pleasant sight for any man’s eyes.
Although most of them weren’t as stunning as Bella, many were just as pretty as Layla and Mila.
Enzo couldn’t help admitting that simply looking at them naturally lifted his mood.
His spirits immediately improved.
Of course, it wasn’t just the beautiful girls that refreshed his eyes.
The luxury goods displayed throughout the mall—designer clothing, electronics, and expensive vehicles—also stirred a certain excitement within him.
Simply looking at them was enjoyable enough.
"Let’s head straight to the third floor. You two aren’t planning to buy anything else, are you?" Bella asked, glancing at Layla and Mila.
"What would I even buy?" the sweet-faced Layla replied. "Ever since becoming an Awakener, I don’t need these ordinary things anymore."
"Oh, really?" Mila, the taller one, sneered. "If everything in this mall were suddenly free, are you saying you wouldn’t take all of it?"
"What are you talking about?"
Layla puffed out her cheeks.
"What I meant is that I know my priorities. This isn’t the time to waste money on unnecessary things."
"What if they made everything free right now?"
"..."
The two of them were clearly used to bickering.
Bella merely rolled her eyes, while Enzo couldn’t have cared less.
They took the escalator to the second floor, which was filled with even more clothing and accessory stores.
For some reason, this floor was less crowded.
Most visitors headed directly for the third floor instead.
The mall had five floors in total.
The fifth floor housed restaurants and a movie theater, while the fourth floor was filled with entertainment and arcade games.
The third floor, however, was different.
It sold a variety of products, but everything there was exclusive.
Enzo was slightly surprised when they arrived.
The stores displayed relatively few items, yet every sales attendant carried themselves with remarkable elegance.
Not far from the escalator, one clothing store immediately caught his attention.
Special Star Fashion Shop.
That was the store’s name.
More importantly, ten outfits were displayed in the front window—five men’s outfits and five women’s.
One of the women’s outfits looked exactly like the one Violet wore.
"So these are the clothing-type B-Class Armors people were talking about," Bella said.
"That’s right," Mila nodded.
"I remember Violet wearing that coat."
"She became their brand ambassador. I saw them introducing her on their official account."
"Really?"
"I don’t need armor anymore. What about you two? Want to buy one? You can’t find these in Awakener Shops. Wearing armor disguised as clothing might be more convenient."
"No. I’d still rather wear real armor. I’m not completely convinced about the quality of armor that’s made to look like clothes."
"Same here. I’ll only consider buying one after there are plenty of positive reviews."
"Alright then. Let’s head to the Awakener Shop."
...
’Looks like selling those outfits won’t be easy, Enzo,’ thought after overhearing their conversation.
He didn’t see a single customer either.
The sales attendants already looked bored from waiting for buyers who never came.
Still, it was understandable.
The outfits were extremely expensive.
A claim from Star Fashion Company alone wasn’t enough to earn people’s trust.
The Awakener Shop stood in the center of the third floor.
Its name was simple—
Crystal Palace.
Unlike the other stores on this floor, its front windows were tinted black, making it impossible to see inside from outside.
Five security guards stood at the entrance.
They didn’t appear to stop anyone from entering, whether they were Awakeners or ordinary people.
Above the entrance, ten surveillance cameras recorded every visitor.
Although no one was searched before entering, anyone who looked suspicious would undoubtedly be stopped immediately.
As Bella led the group forward, every guard glanced at her.
She remained perfectly calm, giving them a faint smile.
None of the guards reacted.
She entered first, followed by Layla and Mila, with Enzo bringing up the rear.
The moment he stepped inside, Enzo was astonished by what he saw.
This wasn’t a typical shop lined with display cabinets.
Instead, long tables made of what appeared to be solid steel filled the spacious interior.
Countless items of every imaginable kind rested openly on top of them.
Everything looked as though it could simply be picked up.
Fortunately, Enzo was an Awakener.
He could vaguely sense an invisible protective barrier covering every table.
If someone touched that barrier, it would probably trigger some kind of dangerous effect.
Warning signs were posted everywhere.
Only store staff were permitted to handle the merchandise.
Surprisingly, the employees themselves were completely unaffected by the barriers.
Even more impressive, it wasn’t just the security guards outside who were Awakeners.
Every single store employee was an Awakener as well.
