The payment process was quick.
Bella came out not long afterward with a faint smile and immediately walked over to Enzo.
She wasn’t carrying anything. Everything had already been stored inside her Storage Artifact.
"Enzo, I’ll drop Layla and Mila off first. After that, I’ll take you back to the portal," Bella said.
"No, there’s no need. I can take a taxi back myself. Just give me the book," Enzo replied immediately.
"Are you sure?" Bella asked, frowning.
In truth, Enzo had no intention of returning so soon.
He still wanted to stay at the mall.
"I have a Storage Artifact too. You can just transfer it directly."
As long as two Storage Artifacts were close enough, the items inside could be transferred with a single thought.
"You’ll be alright on your own, won’t you?" Bella asked as she transferred the Skill Book to him.
"Why wouldn’t I be? I’m much stronger than you," Enzo answered confidently.
"What level are you now?" Bella asked.
"Hmph, you’re definitely not going to tell me. I’ll just check it myself."
Before Enzo could respond, Bella suddenly added those words.
Enzo’s eyes widened.
Before he could stop her, Bella’s eyes widened as well.
Enzo wanted to smack his forehead.
"Bella, please keep it a secret!" he said briefly before hurriedly walking away.
"How is that even possible...?"
Bella muttered the same words over and over.
Layla and Mila had just finished paying and looked puzzled when they heard her.
"Bella, what’s wrong? And where’s Enzo?" Mila asked.
Hearing their voices, Bella finally managed to suppress her shock.
***
After leaving the shop, Enzo headed straight upstairs.
He passed the fourth floor and arrived on the fifth.
His gaze swept across the luxurious cafés until it settled on one with private balcony rooms.
’This is where I’ll control Violet.’
So what if he skipped work for one night?
Getting scolded didn’t matter.
Even if he got fired, he wouldn’t shed a tear.
As long as he returned before morning, perhaps no one would even notice.
He entered the café and walked straight to the counter.
He ordered a large iced milk coffee, a large plate of salted French fries, a bowl of peeled boiled peanuts, and cheese toast.
If he wanted to stay in a good mood, he needed good food.
Adding the cost of renting a private room until morning, the total came to 750 Dollars.
Everything here was expensive.
After receiving the key to his private room, he headed there immediately.
The room overlooked the mall’s front courtyard and the main road, offering a magnificent view of the city center.
With its luxurious wooden table and incredibly soft sofa, Enzo couldn’t help letting out a satisfied sigh as he sat down.
Although the front was open, privacy was still guaranteed.
Once seated, only his head was visible from outside.
There were no security cameras either.
Apparently, couples occasionally used these rooms for intimate moments, and the café had no objections.
Enzo relaxed first.
He enjoyed the snacks, lit a cigarette, and slowly settled into a calm, focused state of mind.
"Let’s check Violet’s account first."
He was curious.
After all, the company had introduced her on their official account, so more people should know about her by now.
When he opened it, he was genuinely surprised.
Thirty thousand followers.
It had already grown that much.
Like a celebrity, Violet’s account was flooded with compliments about her appearance.
Enzo smiled with satisfaction.
The character he had designed certainly hadn’t disappointed him.
Violet didn’t even need to be an Awakener.
Even as an ordinary person, her appearance alone would have been enough to make her famous.
---
Enzo picked up the mouse and keyboard.
He looked at the ruined village in front of Violet once more after she emerged from her hiding place.
Slowly, Violet advanced while remaining in Invisible Mode.
She intended to get close enough to eliminate the monster in a single strike.
Since she was taking a special route, it was best not to cause any unnecessary commotion.
She quietly entered the long-abandoned village.
There were plenty of gaps between the ruins to move through, and the crumbling buildings were still sturdy enough that none of the debris shifted beneath her feet.
Not a single sound was made.
After passing one collapsed house, she finally spotted the monster.
It was a dark purplish-black wolf.
It was lying down, but its crimson eyes continuously scanned its surroundings.
Even while lying on the ground, it stood about two and a half meters tall.
If it stood up, it would probably reach nearly five meters.
Its fur looked incredibly hard, with razor-sharp tips capable of piercing like spears.
It was clearly the same species as the wolves back at the prison, but judging by its level, it had evolved.
DING!
(Level 19 Monster!)
The notification appeared.
Instead of making Enzo nervous, it filled him with excitement.
The higher the monster’s level, the more EXP and SP it would reward.
He didn’t think it would be anywhere near as troublesome as the Three-Headed Python, which had been an exceptionally difficult opponent.
Violet continued advancing toward the wolf.
Even though she had entered an open area, it didn’t matter as long as the wolf remained unaware of her presence.
The moment it noticed her...
...she would strike.
Unexpectedly, the wolf’s ears twitched.
It suddenly rose to its feet in alarm.
It had already sensed danger.
Its instincts were terrifyingly sharp.
Whoosh!
Violet exploded forward at her maximum speed.
She reached the wolf’s side in the blink of an eye.
Her dagger slashed downward.
With her strength, even such a small dagger could slice through massive objects.
Clang!
Something unexpected happened.
The wolf’s fur instantly hardened until it became as tough as steel.
Violet’s dagger was stopped cold.
It felt exactly like striking a solid steel plate.
Although the A+ dagger was superior and still managed to cut through the wolf’s fur, the coat was simply too thick.
The blade never even reached its skin.
Enzo immediately realized this battle wouldn’t be easy.
Then something unexpected happened.
The wolf suddenly lost its balance when one of its legs accidentally slipped into a small hole in the ground.
The instant Violet became visible, she switched weapons, replacing her dagger with the silver spear enveloped in wind.
Whoosh!
She thrust the spear forward.
Not at its chest—
—but straight at its head.
That was a much better target.
Its skull might be incredibly tough...
...but she was wielding a spear.
