"I’d still have to lose my armor before she could defeat me," Bryan said, clearly unconvinced by Charlotte’s opinion.
"If you end up on the ground, it doesn’t matter whether you’re injured or not. You’ve already lost," Charlotte replied calmly.
The spectators began discussing what had just happened.
Quite a few of them were recording everything.
Not long afterward, everyone’s attention shifted upward.
Enzo had no idea what was happening until he glanced at the smaller screen displaying Violet’s point of view.
An eagle was descending rapidly from the sky.
It wasn’t particularly large, with a body only about two meters long, but every beat of its crimson wings released blazing flames.
The real reason everyone was staring at it, however, was the red-haired woman standing atop its back.
She wore a long, open coat, revealing a tight tank top and a pair of fitted trousers underneath.
Rebecca Morgan.
Who else could it be?
The crowd immediately grew excited.
She had finally arrived.
Rebecca slowly swept her gaze across everyone gathered below.
When her eyes landed on Violet, they lingered for a brief moment, though she showed no particular reaction.
Her gaze also paused slightly longer on Bryan and Charlotte.
Charlotte gave her a polite nod.
Once the eagle descended low enough, Rebecca casually jumped to the ground.
To everyone’s surprise, the first thing she did was light a cigarette.
She stared at the enormous stone blocking the entrance while calmly taking one drag after another.
Everyone simply watched her in silence.
Although it seemed rather impolite to keep everyone waiting, no one dared complain.
Perhaps she simply needed to relax before delivering her strongest blow.
When the cigarette finally burned out, her right arm suddenly transformed.
It turned crimson as countless red scales grew across it without leaving a single gap.
Her fingernails extended into razor-sharp claws nearly half the length of her fingers.
Aside from that, the shape of her arm didn’t change.
It didn’t become larger or more muscular.
No visible aura appeared either.
Yet the instant her arm transformed, the surrounding air seemed noticeably heavier.
An invisible pressure filled the area, making it difficult to even breathe.
No one dared utter a single word.
Rebecca wasn’t merely blessed with an extraordinary Talent.
She had also reached an astonishingly high level.
In truth, many S-Class Talent holders never managed to surpass Level 50.
Some couldn’t even break through Level 40.
Whoosh!
She finally moved.
No one could follow her movement.
One moment she was standing still...
The next, she had already appeared before the massive boulder.
Her clenched fist shot forward.
ROAR!
A terrifying roar erupted from her punch.
The sound was so overwhelming that the ground behind her instantly cracked apart.
BOOM!
The gigantic boulder exploded into countless fragments.
Yet something unexpected happened.
Only half of it had been destroyed.
The remaining half was merely covered in cracks.
Rebecca frowned slightly.
Among the shattered fragments, one piece landed right in front of Violet.
She caught it before it touched the ground.
By now, Violet possessed enough Strength to crush solid steel.
Yet the stone fragment remained unbelievably hard.
Even Enzo could practically feel its toughness.
Violet’s current strength was still nowhere near enough to destroy it.
BOOM!
Rebecca threw another punch.
The remaining half of the boulder instantly shattered, revealing the entrance to a dark cave.
Shua! Shua! Shua!
Without warning, a swarm of giant ants—each one as large as a cow—charged out of the cave straight toward Rebecca.
BOOM!
She merely punched the air.
Every single ant exploded instantly.
"Wait until I’m finished," she said to the crowd.
"If anyone enters before I’m done, and the monsters don’t kill you first... I’ll cripple you myself."
With those words, she walked into the cave alone.
"It looks like she’s searching for something. It has to be an incredibly rare item."
"Of course. Why else would she go through all this? She’s been guarding this mountain for a long time."
"There must also be dangers inside that we can’t handle. Once she comes back out, I doubt anything beyond our limits will remain."
’Still have to wait...’
Enzo let out a quiet sigh.
He was slightly worried that Wyatt might run into Augus.
If that happened, Wyatt would definitely tell him everything, and Augus would surely come here.
For now, Violet would simply have to avoid him.
BOOM!
Suddenly, one of the stones sealing a smaller tunnel exploded apart.
Dozens of giant ants were blasted out, their bodies already mangled.
Then another stone exploded.
The entire mountain shook violently.
Everyone drew a sharp breath.
If Rebecca could destroy the gigantic gate with brute force, the smaller stones were nothing to her.
She could shatter them with a single punch.
Perhaps she didn’t even need to make direct contact.
It was obvious that her strength had increased tremendously after leveling up.
Meanwhile, Enzo continued monitoring the surroundings.
Fortunately, Augus never appeared.
Perhaps he had already returned to Earth.
Rebecca also didn’t stay inside for very long.
She soon emerged from the massive entrance.
What caught everyone’s attention was the small cut across her neck.
It had already stopped bleeding, but it was undeniably a wound.
Everyone knew Rebecca was an Awakener who was notoriously difficult to injure.
She was the type of opponent who usually had to be exhausted before anyone could even hope to wound her.
Yet she had been injured in such a short time.
Just what kind of danger was hiding inside this mountain?
Quite a few people immediately became hesitant about entering.
"The dangers inside are still extremely high," Rebecca said.
"But there are also treasures capable of changing your fate."
"If you see anyone above Level 20 entering this place, report them to me."
"I’ll personally deal with them."
After saying that, she leaped back onto her eagle, which had already flown down to meet her.
The eagle spread its flaming wings and carried her back toward the Sanctuary.
After Rebecca left, while everyone else was still hesitating, Violet had already made her move.
She was the first to enter.
The moment darkness swallowed her figure, she silently activated Invisible Mode, disappearing completely without anyone noticing.
