Augus and his companions were also startled when they saw him arrive.
Even so, George remained indifferent and walked straight toward the entrance of Ant Mountain.
Enzo narrowed his eyes slightly, beginning to realize that George seemed to be giving off a much more oppressive pressure.
This wasn’t something an Awakener below Level 5 could possess.
Because George had become an Awakener without relying on his own abilities, he was indeed less capable of controlling his aura.
In the end, one’s level could be roughly determined from their aura.
He seemed to have already reached Level 10, perhaps even higher. He might even be Level 11.
Back in the Monster Prison, Enzo had seen him leveling up. He had still only been fighting Goblins and left after becoming exhausted.
Unless he consumed an Ascension Crystal?
Enzo took a deep breath at the thought.
What else could it be?
Rebecca. She must have been the one who gave it to him.
She might have obtained it from this very Ant Mountain.
An Ascension Crystal for Level 10 or 11 naturally meant nothing to her.
After entering Ant Mountain, George only stopped for a moment before entering one of the tunnels.
Two people had already entered that tunnel earlier.
Violet immediately followed him.
BANG! BANG!
Numerous ants attacked George, but he was indeed powerful thanks to his Dragon Human Body.
Even though it was only a fake version, a single punch could truly make Level 12 and Level 13 Ants explode.
George didn’t want to waste time. He mostly avoided the ants while running, only attacking when he had no other choice.
"Brat, how dare you? You’ve really grown bold now."
"Do you think I’m afraid of you? Hahaha! Now that I have an A-Class Talent, you’re nothing more than my dog."
Two people at the end of the tunnel seemed to be arguing.
Enzo’s eyes lit up when he heard that.
Just as expected.
If George had come here under Rebecca’s instructions, then she had most likely given him information about this place.
George sped up until he reached a chamber connected to numerous other tunnels.
Two men were already there.
One of them was the large, muscular man carrying a greatsword—the same man who had been knocked back when he attacked a Steel Ant earlier.
His companion was rather short and thin.
However, the thin man had trapped the muscular man with a spider web and was slashing at the ants blocking his way.
This time, the large Talent Book was attached to the wall.
It had the image of a massive tree on its cover.
(Demon Tree Transformation, A-Class Talent!)
Enzo frowned when he read the title.
The Demon Tree was a type of tree monster capable of releasing countless roots.
Once someone was caught by them, it could drain their vitality until they were completely dried out.
A Talent like this was completely opposite to Violet’s abilities.
However, this Talent should be able to work with the Three-Headed Python’s Fast Regeneration Skill.
With that skill, a person’s Demon Tree form could become even more terrifying.
Seeing George arrive, the thin man was naturally stunned.
The latter charged forward without hesitation.
Even if George was only around Level 11 while the thin man was Level 15 or 16, their Talents were different by an entire rank.
George could apparently advance much faster.
"Brat, you’re just a Fake Awakener!" The thin man became furious.
He suddenly attacked George, swinging his longsword at him.
However, George easily dodged by leaping high into the air, seemingly about to land right in front of the Talent Book.
He merely stared coldly at the thin man.
But even though he was fast, Violet was faster.
Whoosh!
The large Talent Book simply disappeared.
"What?"
George’s mouth fell open.
"This belongs to me. Do you have a problem with that?" Violet appeared and asked coldly.
She didn’t bother hiding herself from Augus’s lackeys.
Why would she need to hide from George?
George’s expression couldn’t have gotten any worse when he saw her.
His eyes turned icy cold.
"Give it to me!" he shouted as he charged toward Violet.
His claws extended as he attempted to slash at her.
Perhaps he thought he could finally fight this woman now.
After all, he had no idea that Violet’s level had already increased considerably.
Violet smiled coldly.
Since this man wanted to suffer, she would gladly give him what he wanted.
Dodging was effortless.
She then kicked George hard in the back.
BANG!
His body slammed into the wall, causing it to tremble slightly.
If that had been a wall inside the Monster Prison, it might have collapsed.
Crash!
George immediately vomited blood violently when his body hit the ground.
Several of his scales even came loose from his body.
The thin man was stunned, his eyes wide with disbelief.
He hadn’t expected Violet to be so brutal, as though there were some deep grudge between them.
Afterward, Violet activated Invisible Mode and left.
She hadn’t killed a single ant and wasn’t interested in doing so.
She would rather conserve her energy so she could maintain Invisible Mode for as long as possible.
When she returned to the starting area once again, she saw Charlotte.
The woman’s expression was as calm as ever, making it difficult to tell what she was thinking.
"Damn it! Why is there nothing here?" Several people who had emerged from other tunnels cursed with displeased expressions.
"Where’s that tomboy bitch? Where is she?"
The messy-haired man suddenly appeared, shouting desperately and startling the others.
"Mason, you came too? What happened?" someone who recognized him asked.
"I used a Tracking Candle, but that bitch secretly followed me and stole the Talent I found. Anthony, did you see her?" Mason replied.
His expression was filled with madness.
Hearing that, everyone exchanged glances.
If they had experienced the same thing, they would have been frustrated too.
However, from the perspective of spectators, they couldn’t exactly say Violet had done anything wrong.
When competing for treasure, there was no such thing as right or wrong.
Any method could be used.
The Association only considered it a crime if someone killed another Awakener.
