Enzo entered his post and finally slapped his forehead.

Although the woman looked angry, fortunately, she didn’t throw a tantrum.

She simply sat back down and continued drinking with an uncertain expression.

Would she be embarrassed after the alcohol wore off and she became more clear-headed?

After all, she had actually asked Enzo to date her. All this time, she had done nothing but look down on him and scold him.

’It seems she still has a small desire to abandon her ambitions and live a peaceful life,’ Enzo thought.

He sighed to himself. If only he had failed to awaken, who knew what would have happened?

Of course, there was no point dwelling on it now. He had been blessed with incredible luck, and the future he had seen was incredibly bright.

’But my luck really is amazing. Even Emma is considering me as a potential life partner.’

He chuckled at the thought.

After a while, the woman stood up again. She stared at Enzo’s post for a moment before putting her glasses back on and walking away.

Her steps were perfectly steady, as though she hadn’t drunk anything at all.

Enzo stopped thinking about her because he wanted to bring Violet back.

Violet approached Rebecca again.

The woman was touching the body of the colossal serpent, seemingly trying to sense its power.

"You want to leave?" she asked Violet.

"Yes. It seems there’s nothing I can do here," Violet replied politely.

Of course, she wasn’t talking about Augus, who might be waiting for her above. That was her own problem.

"Alright!"

The woman grabbed Violet’s hand.

Then, without any warning, she simply threw her upward.

Whoosh!

Violet shot upward at incredible speed, and the lava above split apart just enough for her to pass through.

There was no point getting angry. After passing through the lava, Violet used her threads to reach the cliff.

BANG!

She landed.

"Where do you want to go now?"

A cold voice rang out immediately afterward.

Who else could it be but Augus, who was standing outside and staring coldly at her?

The man wore golden armor that radiated a brilliant light. Even the two swords on his back gleamed with a deadly aura.

This was the real problem.

An S-Class Talent.

Level 31.

Augus had every right to be arrogant and look down on others.

He had the strength to back it up.

Violet couldn’t fight him head-on because of the difference in their levels.

For Enzo, the reason he had been bold enough to send Violet back here was because Violet at least excelled at escaping.

He had searched for information about Augus’s strength on the forums.

His Talent was called Berserk. It was a combat mode that made him more ferocious as the battle intensified.

In other words, this Talent required him to fight and take attacks in order to unleash its true potential.

Naturally, this had an obvious weakness.

He wouldn’t be nearly as powerful at the beginning of a battle.

Augus could essentially be weaker than other S-Class Talent users at the start of a fight, or he could become stronger than them.

It all depended on the circumstances.

Of course, compared to an A-Class Talent, he was still stronger even at the beginning of a battle.

That was the weakness Violet could exploit.

If their levels had been this far apart before, it would have been impossible.

But now that she had reached Level 25, along with the additional Attributes provided by Enzo, there was at least a greater chance of success.

Enzo was even fairly confident.

Violet stared coldly at Augus.

No matter how furious Augus was, he could never produce a gaze colder than Violet’s.

And at that very moment, Violet unleashed Instant Death on him.

It was enough to make Augus’s head jerk in surprise.

However, the effect was apparently insignificant.

Violet then activated Mode Invisible.

Another weakness of Augus was his poor detection ability.

When Violet had been much weaker, Augus still couldn’t find her.

"You think you can run!"

The man drew both of his swords and violently slashed them forward.

The two swords weren’t sharp. They were blunt.

However, the sheer momentum behind the strikes produced terrifying shockwaves.

Enzo estimated that those shockwaves could send Violet flying with tremendous force.

Augus immediately charged forward as well.

He was clearly preparing to attack randomly before Violet could escape.

Under normal circumstances, Violet probably wouldn’t have been fast enough.

Fortunately, she had the Eye of Time.

Without hesitation, she activated it with Augus as her primary target.

Not only Augus, even the incoming shockwaves immediately slowed down drastically from Violet’s perspective once the Eye of Time took effect.

At that moment, Violet leaped backward and crossed over the lava.

Even with her jump, she wouldn’t have been able to make it across.

However, she hadn’t sent out just one thread beforehand.

She had already sent numerous threads in different directions.

One of them suddenly pulled her across.

She landed without making a sound, then immediately sprinted out of the hill.

She didn’t stop, only accelerating as she ran.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

After only a short while, she heard a series of deafening explosions.

The entire hill even trembled slightly.

After unleashing one attack, Augus’s next attack was practically stronger than the previous one.

Every second, another explosion echoed through the area.

Then, within each passing second, the number of explosions increased several times over.

Someone else would have begun to tire.

Augus, however, only became more ferocious.

’But what’s the point of having that much power if you can’t hit your enemy?’ Enzo thought.

Violet might not be able to fight for very long, but every attack she made would always hit its target.

Enzo controlled Violet until she returned to the Sanctuary.

He didn’t feel safe leaving her hidden somewhere out in the wild.

The Sanctuary was already extremely quiet when Violet returned.

Even when she revealed herself, no one noticed her.

’Now I can sleep...’

Enzo sighed in relief and immediately lay down on the bed without even changing his clothes.

He was already sleepy and looking forward to tomorrow.

His thoughts drifted between two things: having breakfast at Charlotte’s residence and Bella, who had invited him to sleep with her.

Only now did he feel uneasy whenever he thought about Bella.

They were cousins. How could they possibly have a plan like that?

Unfortunately, it was indeed the body’s natural desire.

His mind couldn’t simply reject it.

And as for morality... unfortunately, Enzo didn’t have enough of it.

Fortunately, he still managed to fall asleep despite having so many thoughts running through his head.

He slept soundly until morning.

When he opened his eyes, his body felt incredibly refreshed.

The first thing he checked was the time on his phone.

It was still very early.

He immediately got out of bed and headed to the bathroom.

This was unusual for him.

However, today he was genuinely excited.

He didn’t spend too long in the shower.

Afterward, he put on casual clothes: a pair of short jeans and a comfortable white T-shirt.

Then he stepped out of his post.

There were already several Awakeners around, but compared to the total number of newcomers, there were very few of them.

Enzo walked out of the Monster Prison and was slightly surprised to see a group led by Paul himself.

They were actually heading toward the Sanctuary’s gate, which could only mean they intended to leave.

This made him wonder.

"Where are you going?"

Enzo was startled by Emma’s voice.

His eyes blinked several times when he saw her.

She had changed her glasses.

The oversized pair she used to wear had been replaced by a much more fashionable design.

Although her hairstyle was still the same, with her hair braided into two braids, she looked completely different.

Her oversized glasses had been the main reason she had always looked like a bookworm.

As for her hairstyle, she seemed like the kind of woman who would look beautiful with almost any hairstyle.

Her clothes were also always from high-end brands, despite having relatively understated designs.

There was no mistake about it.

She now looked like a beautiful, sophisticated urban woman.

"What is this? Did you have some kind of enlightenment this morning?" Enzo asked with a smile.

She should have already sobered up, but who knew what was going through her mind?

"Why? Do you think I did this for you? I can do whatever I want," the woman replied.

"Hahaha, of course you can... But I have to say, you’re very charming this morning."

Emma was speechless.

"By the way, Miss Garcia, do you think I’m handsome?" he asked, feeling like teasing her.

A cold woman like Emma naturally made someone want to tease her just to see how she would react.

The question was clearly beyond Emma’s expectations.

Still, it wasn’t unreasonable for Enzo to ask her that, considering she had asked him to become her partner the previous night.

"You really are an asshole..." Emma could only answer with that.

"Take your food."

She added that as she handed him a food box containing bread and pieces of grilled chicken.

Enzo didn’t refuse. He accepted it with a smile.

He started walking.

Although he still didn’t know where Charlotte’s residence was in the Sanctuary, he assumed it was somewhere around Violet’s castle.

After all, Charlotte should have received a castle as well.

"Eh..."

He had barely taken one step when he had to stop.

Emma had grabbed his hand.

When he looked at her, the woman suddenly pulled him toward the trees in front of the Monster Prison.

The action left Enzo frozen, making him wonder whether she was still drunk.

"What are you doing?" he asked with a strange smile.

Emma herself seemed confused about what she was supposed to say after doing this.

She clearly hadn’t expected herself to be bold enough to pull a man into a secluded corner.

Her breathing became somewhat erratic, forcing her to take a deep breath to steady herself.

"Do you really not want me?"
