Zinia nodded slowly. "That is a massive diplomatic move. He holds the legitimate heirs to a ruined kingdom."

The Sultan stood up. "You do not have to take my word for it. I brought a very special guest with me today."

The imperial guards opened the massive metal doors. A young woman walked in. She wore a simple, elegant dark dress. Her face was pale. She looked exhausted. But she walked with perfect, regal posture.

Princess Rachel of the Bluemoon Kingdom.

Laxmi jumped to her feet. "The princess is alive! She is right there!"

On the screen, Princess Rachel walked down the center aisle. She stopped in the middle of the room. She bowed to the Emperor. She turned to face the foreign leaders.

"You are making false accusations," Princess Rachel stated clearly. "You accuse the Belmontia Empire of firing the weapon. You accuse Lancelot of mass murder. You are completely wrong."

The King of Zenith scowled. "Princess Rachel, you are traumatized."

"I know exactly what I am saying," Princess Rachel countered firmly. "I was there. I watched the Black Magicians enslave my people. Lancelot did not attack us. Lancelot came to save us. He fought the dark army. He gave us a chance to escape. He is the only reason my brother and I are alive today."

Risa hugged her teddy bear tightly. "The princess is very brave."

Naomi wiped a tear from her eye. "She is standing in front of the entire world and telling the truth. She is incredible."

On the screen, Princess Rachel pointed at Lancelot. "I personally vouch for Lancelot. He did not fire that weapon. The Black Magicians fired it. They hijacked the missile to frame him. Do not let them win."

Laxmi pumped her fist. "YES! Tell them the truth! Lancelot is the best!"

Naomi smiled a bright, relieved smile. "The truth always comes out. The innocent are cleared."

The clone popped a chip into its mouth from the sofa. "Surprise witnesses always save the day. It is a fundamental law of the universe."

---

The living room was completely silent. Everyone watched the screen intently.

The King of Zenith stood up. He adjusted his gold crown. "Your story is very moving, Princess Rachel. But your personal experience does not clear him completely."

He pointed at Lancelot. "He is too dangerous. He possesses overwhelming magic. He operates in the shadows. Even if he did not fire the weapon, he is a massive threat to global security."

Laxmi rolled her eyes. "Here we go again. These guys never learn."

Sayma pushed her glasses up. "They are acting out of fear. Politicians fear what they cannot control. Lancelot represents an uncontrollable variable."

The clone let out a long, dramatic yawn from the sofa. "Paranoia is incredibly boring. Someone needs to suggest a compromise so we can all go eat lunch. I am starving."

Naomi glanced at it. "You just ate an entire bag of chips."

"Emotional support eating," the clone replied lazily.

Suddenly, a calm voice echoed across the television speakers. "Perhaps we can find a middle ground."

Pope Isac stood up. He wore simple white robes. He held a long wooden staff. He looked incredibly wise.

Naomi leaned forward. "Pope Isac is speaking. The wisest man in the room."

Pope Isac tapped his staff on the floor. "We cannot punish Lancelot for a crime he did not commit. But we must respect the anxiety of the international community. I suggest a temporary ban on Lancelot's movements."

The King of Zenith rubbed his chin. "A complete ban on his movements? He stays out of our territories?"

"Lancelot must agree to a strict, international ceasefire," Pope Isac explained. "He will be barred from crossing international borders. He must remain within the Belmontia Empire until the true culprits are found."

The foreign leaders murmured. The idea spread across the room.

Zinia laughed. "They think banishing Lancelot is a punishment. They have no idea what they just gave him."

Ira nodded. "Statistically speaking, a mandated vacation for an apex predator is the least threatening form of restriction possible."

On the screen, the Emperor gave a slow nod. "The Belmontia Empire finds this proposal acceptable. We will agree to the temporary injunction."

The clone slouched deeper into the sofa. A massive, goofy smile spread across its face.

Laxmi pointed at the clone on the sofa. "Look at Ken's face. He looks like he just won the lottery."

"Because he is," Naomi said. She laughed softly. "Ken lives for this kind of entertainment. A political drama with snacks is his dream day."

On the screen, Lancelot stood on the table. He slowly turned around. His black cloak swished elegantly.

"I accept your meaningless ban," Lancelot stated coldly.

The foreign kings let out a collective breath of relief.

But Lancelot stopped walking. He tilted his head slightly.

Ken decided to drop one final threat.

"You may play your little political games," Lancelot warned. The temperature in the room dropped. "You may hide behind your temporary injunctions. But hear my words very clearly."

Lancelot turned his head. The glowing purple eye stared directly at the King of Zenith.

"If I feel I am being wrongly targeted... If you test my patience with false accusations... I will not simply cross your borders. I will shatter them. I will walk into your grand palaces. And I will replace your Kings with new ones."

Sayma smiled. "He threatened to overthrow their entire governments. That is an administrative threat. To politicians, that is far scarier than death."

Risa looked at the screen with wide eyes. "He is very good at being scary."

On the screen, Lancelot stepped off the table. His polished boots clicked against the marble floor. Click. Click. Click. He walked down the center aisle. The imperial guards pulled the doors open.

Lancelot walked out. The doors closed behind him with a loud, final thud.

The meeting was officially over.

In the living room, the team sat in silence for a moment.

Then Laxmi broke the silence. "THAT WAS THE GREATEST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN!"

She jumped up. She grabbed a pillow and hugged it. "Lancelot froze a room! He caught a spear with his bare hand! He called a king a pest! He accepted a ban that is actually a vacation! This is the best day ever!"

Zinia laughed her deep, booming laugh. "The foreign kings are never going to recover from this. Their egos are completely shattered."

Sayma closed her notebook. She clicked her pen. "The summit was a complete diplomatic victory for Belmontia. Lancelot's appearance solidified the Empire's dominance. And Lancelot's ban means he will stay out of international politics for a while."

Naomi smiled warmly. She looked at the clone sprawled on the sofa next to her. "You really chose the perfect day to stay home."

The clone grinned. "I always make the best decisions."

Zinia stretched her arms above her head. "I could use some lunch myself. Anyone wants to cook?"

The living room buzzed with casual chatter. The summit was over. The crisis was averted. And the 13th Unit was together again.
