As the countdown ended, the auction finally came to a close.

Just as everyone was wondering who the winning bidders were, the livestream suddenly cut out.

Instantly, everyone who had been intently watching the stream started cursing.

Moira Lynch felt wronged by this as well. Who could have expected that the device she got from The Crimson Dominion would break at such a crucial moment?

An inspection revealed it had been used for too long, causing the machine to overheat.

’Seriously? Are interstellar products this shoddy? Couldn’t they have included a heat sink?’

However, after a more thorough check, Moira Lynch realized she had been mistaken.

The streaming device originally had a heat sink. The Crimson Dominion must have removed it, or simply didn’t bring it back with them.

Fortunately, the machine wasn’t damaged. It would be usable again after it cooled down.

’Besides, those countries will announce the results themselves eventually.’

Moira Lynch stopped worrying about it and instead started looking over her profits from the auction.

By auctioning off two planets and dozens of mining veins simultaneously, Moira Lynch had made an absolute fortune.

This was especially true since she had acquired both the Garbage Star and Mochina by trading Yeti Horns, which meant they were essentially pure profit for her.

After giving the system the twenty percent she had promised, the remaining eighty percent was all her own net income.

’I have to say, these people are seriously rich.’

What shocked Moira Lynch was that someone had directly paid over a billion Gold Coins to buy half of the development and agency rights for the swamp planet.

Most importantly, the purchase wasn’t made in the name of a country, but by a family.

’Judging by the name, it’s probably a foreigner.’

This couldn’t help but remind Moira Lynch of that foreigner from the survival game before last.

The man had taken a liking to her Black Wolf and had once offered to trade an item for it.

The wallet item’s description said it could produce the currency of any race.

There was no quantity specified, which meant the wallet could very likely spit out an infinite amount of money.

Realizing this, a look of regret appeared on Moira Lynch’s face.

"If only I’d known..."

’If only I’d known, I would’ve just robbed him.’

Aside from this family, which paid entirely in Gold Coins, everyone else paid with a mix of Gold Coins and resources, using items to cover the remaining balance.

Because of the previous Healing Pistol and Space Dagger, they had guessed that those items most likely came from SoySauceDrunkard.

After learning of her demand for jade and other gemstones, they catered to her preferences, with most of them using jade to settle their accounts.

The money was all deposited into her account, and the various resources were stored directly in her space for future use. Next up were the items.

No country would offer up all its items, as their own players still needed them.

But even so, the number of items they produced was astonishing—over a thousand pieces in total.

For the next several days, aside from eating and cultivating, Moira Lynch spent all her time sorting through these items.

Some of the items were very useful.

For example, there was a crown called Mermaid’s Tears. It was entirely blue and inlaid with blue gemstones.

When worn, it allowed the user to take on the form of a Merfolk and automatically gain the favor of all marine creatures, who would treat the wearer as one of their own.

This item, without a doubt, ended up in Snowy’s stomach.

Of course, items like this were a tiny minority among all the items.

Most of the items were single-use. The rest were either too low-level to be useful, or their abilities were redundant, as Moira Lynch already had better versions.

[Flying Feather: After use, a pair of wings will grow on your back for flight. Duration: ten minutes. Cooldown: one hour.]

Moira Lynch already had a flight item like this one, which she’d gotten from Redlight.

And now, she had dozens of such flight items in her possession.

Besides those, there were also transformation items that could turn the user into a fish or various other animals to evade enemies.

But Moira Lynch already had the Illusion Cloak, so she didn’t really need items like that.

Moira Lynch sorted these items out and forbade Snowy from touching them.

She could vaguely sense that the level of the items Snowy devoured had a significant impact on its growth.

The higher the level, the greater the benefit.

Understanding this, Moira Lynch had once tried to let Snowy eat the Pharmacy Box, but the result was the same as with the Yeti Horn.

After just a small bite, Snowy clutched its round belly and rolled around on the ground, clearly stuffed to its limit.

’The single-use items can be saved for critical moments.’

The most difficult ones to deal with were the redundant items. It was useless to keep them, but a pity to throw them away.

Moreover, because of her identity, she couldn’t use them openly.

Moira Lynch pondered this for a moment. "Maybe I should list them in the shop to sell?"

’It’s as they say: taken from the people, used for the people.’

’Hey, wait a minute, that doesn’t sound quite right.’

’Oh well, whatever. The meaning is more or less the same.’

’But the auction just ended. Listing these items for sale right away feels a bit inappropriate. Maybe I should wait a few days and sell them after the next game ends.’

’By then, a new round of the game will have just finished, and everyone will have money on hand.’

After she finished organizing all the items, Moira Lynch went to Cloudsea Planet to harvest another wave of mature Qio Rice and Full Vines. She then terraformed the new islands her Golden Celestial Eye had found and planted more Qio Vines and Full Vines.

This time, the area planted with Qio Vines and Full Vines was even larger, which made Moira Lynch’s desire to hire robots to work for her even stronger.

Moira Lynch suddenly remembered that she hadn’t browsed the System Mall in a long time. She wondered if they sold robots.

Ignoring the dirt on the newly terraformed island, Moira Lynch plopped right down, opened the System Mall, and began to single-mindedly search for robots.

The various items in the System Mall were as dazzling as ever, and it was updated periodically.

But the prices were enough to make one’s vision go black; only a select few were affordable for players.

Moira Lynch had always been very curious about who the System Mall’s target audience actually was.

After looking through the items in the System Mall one by one, Moira Lynch finally found what she was looking for.

[All-Purpose Nanny-Bot: Capable of performing any task. Water-resistant and heat-resistant, able to adapt to any harsh environment. Can work twenty-four hours without rest and convert all kinetic energy into power.]

That last point was just like Moira Lynch’s protective shield and Illusion Cloak.

She looked at the price: one million Gold Coins.

Limited-time discount. Current price: one million. Original price: ten million.

Perhaps because she had just earned over a billion, Moira Lynch actually didn’t think one million was expensive.
