Apocalypse Beast Supplier: Only I Sell God-Tier Beasts
Chapter 105: Beast Core GeneratorTerrence looked down at the bleeding carcass of the slain python beast lying motionless on the muddy ground. He let out a long sigh as he reached into his inventory interface and retrieved the Beast Core Generator.
"Does this machine really work if I just shove a dead monster inside it?" Terrence wondered out loud, but he knew there was ultimately only one way to find the definitive answer.
Relying on his gut instinct and the solid logic that the generator could simply be stored back into his system inventory at any time, Terrence shifted his sharp focus onto the gold-tier device.
It looked like a normal piece of heavy industrial machinery, standing roughly at knee-height, but it featured an attached funnel system that looked far too narrow for any massive wild beast to fit through.
However, given the recent magical success of the Beast Net, he concluded that he could likely still utilize this device despite its ridiculously small opening.
He slowly dragged the heavy python carcass across the mud, lifting a section of its thick body just slightly above the opening of the Beast Core Generator. Its sheer physical weight was impossible for an unassisted human to lift completely, but simply aligning the creature with the funnel mouth proved to be more than enough.
Just as he had anticipated, the Beast Core Generator’s specialized funnel system instantly sucked the entire serpent carcass inward as if the dense flesh and bone had been transformed into a smooth liquid. Terrence let out a heavy sigh of relief, wiping his brow.
"The sheer magic of this System is truly something else. I definitely wasn’t expecting tools like this to offer such absurd practical benefits."
Terrence briefly wondered where and how such incredible artifacts were even created, but he quickly brushed the thought aside—who cared about the mechanics when he was the sole individual alive who knew about the existence of his private System anyway?
Terrence leaned over and stared down at the intricate mechanical design of the engine, which hummed lightly as a bright red indicator bulb suddenly lit up on the side panel.
A clean system popup window immediately materialized above the top of the generator:
[Beast Core Generator]
[Capacity: 1/5]
[Duration: 6 Days]
[Quality: B-Rank Beast Cores (1/30)]
Terrence’s eyes widened in total surprise as, just a single second after feeding the machine with a wild beast, a solid beast core popped out from an exit pocket at the base of the generator, dropping neatly into a small metal drawer at the bottom.
He reached down and picked it up. The smooth orb beautifully reflected the ambient natural light filtered through the dense jungle canopy. As he inspected the item closely in his palm, it glistened with the unmistakable, unmistakable quality of a high-grade beast core.
’Shit! It’s real! This gold pull isn’t a scam at all!’
Deeply elated, he immediately applied the fresh core to the Evolution Booster necklace. The artifact glowed with a faint, warm light around the Azure-lined Frog’s wide neck, settling comfortably against its slimy frame.
"Wow..." Terrence couldn’t help but marvel out loud at the seamless process. This was exactly what he needed!
Without wasting a single second of his precious time, Terrence turned his head toward his shadow hound.
"Buddy..." Terrence glanced down at the Azure-lined Frog resting nearby, then looked back into Noir’s sharp eyes. "Go harvest some more wild beasts in this area and bring them straight back to me. Make sure whatever you kill are at least C-Rank beasts."
Noir barked back at Terrence with a sharp, disciplined sound, instantly affirming the direct command.
With Noir darting off into the jungle, Terrence turned his attention back to the Beast Core Generator, thoroughly adoring how amazingly efficient it was.
This was undeniably an incredible, game-changing pull from the Gacha Shop. If he hadn’t managed to draw this gold item tonight, establishing his upcoming beast shop merchandise wouldn’t be anywhere near as smooth or simple as he had originally envisioned.
Before long, Noir returned from the surrounding jungle, dragging four distinct wild beast carcasses native to the local Jungle Biome across the dirt. There were two smaller frog beasts, one thick serpent, and a mutated tree monster.
Noir dragged the massive pile back without showing the slightest strain, utilizing a constant stream of materialized dark energy particles similar to the shadow element he used during his Triple Slash skill.
Terrence didn’t fully understand how the hound was manipulating his shadow energy to tow the heavy weight, but he proudly complimented Noir for the creative trick.
"Wow, Noir, you can actually use your dark particles like that?" He reached out and vigorously ruffled Noir’s thick fur, and the shadowy beast visibly leaned into the touch, thoroughly enjoying the physical praise. "I really wonder what other tricks you’re going to discover entirely on your own. You really are an exceptionally smart beast."
Guiding the newly harvested carcasses toward the narrow funnel mouth, each dead monster was rapidly sucked inward like liquid, instantly liquefying into a dense paste as the humming Beast Core Generator swirled internally.
Within seconds, the machine’s maximum intake capacity was completely filled, and the digital product screen automatically refreshed its display:
[Capacity: 5/5]
[Duration: 3 Days]
[Quality: B-Rank Beast Cores (1/80)]
"What the fuck! How is a yield like this even possible?"
Gathering ten B-Rank beast cores through normal hunting was considered an exhausting, time-consuming effort for average tamers, and hoarding eighty of them at once was an absurd display even for wealthy A-Rank tamers. Yet right here before his eyes, the Beast Core Generator was on track to grant him eighty high-quality cores within a mere three days!
’I don’t even fully understand why the item description mentioned a monthly quota limit in the first place.’
Well, that minor detail didn’t matter in the slightest at the moment. Whether it was a minor glitch in the written text or a hidden mechanic he hadn’t fully realized yet, this incredible output was the absolute reality sitting right in front of him.
’So, I get all eighty B-Rank cores in just three short days!’ Terrence tightly clenched his fist as wildly ambitious, almost delusional business ideas rushed into his mind.
He even briefly envisioned completely overpowering major regional supply industries by simply flooding the open market with endless beast cores. However, he quickly shook his head to clear the thought; taking on massive corporate empires like that sounded like a massive, unnecessary headache.
"Grrr..."
It seemed like Terrence was destined to be in constant danger out in the wild, as Noir suddenly let out a low, aggressive growl while staring sharply off toward a dense cluster of trees where a small group of human presences had just entered their perimeter.
Terrence immediately recalled the humming Beast Core Generator back into his system storage, and as expected, the heavy machine instantly dissolved and stored safely back into his digital inventory space without a trace.
A second later, the Azure-lined Frog was dismissed back into the safety of the Beast Sanctuary portal, while Noir stepped forward, his eyes locked onto the approaching humans.
Peeking through the thick jungle foliage, Terrence observed five men approaching their location. A rough, ragged-looking leader dressed in scuffed, heavily worn tactical gear led the small group through the swampy terrain.
Judging by their unkempt physical appearances and aggressive body language, they looked far more like ruthless border ruffians than legitimate adventurer tamers.
"Are you absolute sure that kid walked off in this exact direction?" the group leader asked in a harsh, raspy voice.
"Yes, boss. I tracked his footprints directly down this specific path," one of the group members affirmed, pointing toward the broken branches nearby.
The leader’s wrinkled, scarred face instantly brightened with greedy delight as a cruel idea took hold of his mind. ’I can’t wait to strip that rich kid of his rare beasts,’ the leader thought to himself, a sinister grin spreading across his face. ’He’s clearly just an immature, inexperienced novice playing expert out here. With five of us here, all sitting comfortably at the peak of B-Rank beast control, capturing his beasts and killing him will be a total walk in the park.’
Terrence stood calmly in the shadows, his expression completely blank as he watched the five armed men slowly close the distance to his exact position.
