Soon, Florence Moon’s information appeared before Perry Yates.

Talent: Alchemy

Fusion Cards: Gale Blade, Wind Wings, Wind Shadow Escape Form, Wind Spirit Guardian.

Florence Moon had only fused four cards, but she had quite a few item cards on her—a full hundred of them, in fact.

Unfortunately, Perry Yates couldn’t see the level of these item cards, and she didn’t want to waste a Replication Card on them.

After successfully replicating Florence Moon’s Talent and cards, Perry Yates let out a sigh of relief, as if she had finally taken care of a pressing matter.

Perry Yates’s recent movements had actually attracted Florence Moon’s attention, as she had moved twice in a row.

Noticing Florence Moon’s gaze, Perry Yates ignored it. Instead, she placed her hand on the ground, casually plucked a blade of grass, and stuffed it into her mouth.

She looked like a desperately hungry person, eating whatever she could get her hands on.

Seeing this, Florence Moon did indeed withdraw her gaze and paid Perry Yates no more mind.

Her eyes swept over everyone present. It seemed casual, but she was actually observing them, trying to find the person who had nearly gotten her killed today.

If she hadn’t woken up early, her identity would have been exposed.

God knows how panicked she was when she opened her eyes today to find so many people missing from the camp.

Especially when she realized the others were about to wake up, she didn’t hesitate. She decisively used her ability to temporarily block everyone’s vision and took the chance to run.

She hadn’t planned on coming back at all, but on her escape route, she saw many people cursing as they walked back toward the camp.

Florence Moon, hidden from sight, listened to their words and finally figured out what had happened.

It was all the handiwork of her "teammate" whom she had never met.

Although she didn’t know why they hadn’t just attacked directly, Florence Moon thought for a moment and decided to go back anyway.

After all, she was in an unfamiliar place, and everything in her Space Backpack was sealed. Rather than trying to survive on her own, it was better to stick with these people and at least get something to eat.

As for the mission, Florence Moon’s attitude was that of a total slacker. She wasn’t good at fighting, and besides, weren’t there several other people?

If Perry Yates knew what she was thinking, she would definitely say, ’Great minds—no, great slackers—think alike.’ Perry had the same idea.

While she wouldn’t be completely passive, she did plan on coasting a bit.

After all, based on her interactions with Justin Shaw, she knew he was no simple character.

Perry Yates figured that with someone like him around, she probably wouldn’t even need to make a move.

However, while she could slack off on the mission, she felt it was absolutely necessary to find the "teammate" who screwed her over and give them a good beating.

With this in mind, Florence Moon started searching. Meanwhile, Perry Yates, who was engrossed in eating grass, suddenly felt a chill run down her spine and couldn’t help but shiver.

’Have I been targeted by something... unclean?’

With that thought, she stuffed another blade of grass into her mouth.

Although the grass looked like she had just plucked it randomly, it had actually undergone several rounds of Ascension before entering her mouth, so it tasted pretty good.

About ten minutes later, Marcus Langley finally finished speaking.

As the one who proposed the plan, Marcus Langley naturally became the group’s temporary leader. He then promoted three others to share the responsibility with him.

These three were none other than Eleanor, who had sat next to Perry Yates on the plane, along with Rosemary Archer and Morgan Abbott.

This was obviously not a spontaneous decision.

Through the plants, Perry Yates knew these few had seemingly made some kind of secret agreement, but she hadn’t learned the specifics from the plants.

After a round of grouping, the hundred-plus people present were divided into a firewood-gathering team, a hunting team, an exploration team, and a crafting team.

Perry Yates was assigned to the hunting team.

They were on an isolated island. To get food, aside from searching the forest, the quickest way was naturally to get it from the sea.

In the forest, although no large beasts had been spotted in the past few days, that didn’t mean there weren’t any. Many people had discovered tracks of large animals in the woods.

In comparison, the seashore seemed safer. However, the leader of the hunting team was Morgan Abbott, and he chose a two-pronged approach. He split the hunting team in two: one part would go to the beach to forage, while the other would enter the forest to find food.

Perry Yates was assigned to forage at the beach.

Perry Yates had no objections to this; it was a good opportunity for her to familiarize herself with the surroundings.

Even with her Clones, the island was simply too large. So far, all her Clones working simultaneously hadn’t even finished exploring a tenth of it.

Upon arriving at the shore, they were greeted by the sight of a vast beach and an endless ocean.

The sand here was special—a pristine white, looking beautiful from a distance.

’Wait a minute,’ Perry Yates suddenly thought. ’I remember that you’re supposed to forage on the beach during low tide, right?’

’Because sea creatures come to the shore to find food during high tide, and when the tide recedes, they get left behind on the sand because they can’t leave in time.’

But she had never foraged on a beach before, so she didn’t know if that was actually true.

After arriving at the seaside, everyone split up to search for food.

Perry Yates walked along the shoreline for a bit and, as expected, found nothing. Not just no food—there wasn’t even any trash.

Just then, a wave suddenly crashed ashore, causing Perry Yates to stumble, nearly falling over.

Just as she managed to steady herself, a scream erupted from behind her.

"AHHH!!! Monster!"

At the same time, the bracelet on Perry Yates’s wrist suddenly grew hot. Sensing danger, she didn’t hesitate for a second, immediately using Invisibility and Instant Teleportation to leave her spot.

The very instant she vanished, a monster with long limbs, pale-green skin, and a mouth full of fangs appeared where she had just been, letting out a furious roar.

After its attack missed, the monster spun around, seemingly searching for something.

Seeing this, the other players around were scared out of their wits, screaming nonstop.

But the monster seemed completely indifferent to their cries, focusing only on finding Perry Yates.

In reality, Perry Yates wasn’t far from the monster’s position at all; in fact, she was very close.

Just as she was about to move to a different spot, she shifted her foot. Unexpectedly, the monster’s hearing was incredibly sharp. It instantly caught the faint sound and charged toward her location.

Seeing this, Perry Yates didn’t hesitate. She used Instant Teleportation again, simultaneously flinging a poker card from her hand.
