After some time, everyone in Solara—players and NPCs alike—had gradually boarded the ship.

Some opted for first or second-class tickets, but most people chose third-class.

The majority of those who chose first-class tickets were players. After all, at this point, only they could produce ten cards in such a short amount of time.

Perry Yates was true to her word. Noah’s Ark was a five-star item equipped with all sorts of functions. Besides its autopilot, it could also provide for the daily needs of everyone living aboard—food, drink, and sanitation.

Not to mention that before upgrading the card, Perry Yates had fused many other cards into it.

Perry Yates sat in the cockpit, watching everyone get along so harmoniously, and nodded in satisfaction.

As soon as everyone was on board, Perry Yates had warned them all: any and all disruptive behavior was forbidden on Noah’s Ark, especially fighting. Anyone caught would be thrown off the ship immediately.

Meanwhile, Sylas Sawyer had woken up after receiving treatment.

He slowly opened his eyes and looked around the room, his gaze hazy. For a moment, he even wondered if he had returned to Cerulea.

The memories from before he lost consciousness came flooding back.

In those hazy memories, he thought he saw the owner of The Card Tavern.

Just then, the door was slowly pushed open. A woman with short hair walked in, carrying a tray of steaming hot food.

Upon seeing that Sylas Sawyer was awake, the woman’s face lit up with joyful surprise.

"Captain Sawyer, you’re finally awake." The woman approached Sylas Sawyer and placed the food in front of him. "Here, eat something."

Sylas Sawyer stared at the steaming food as his stomach rumbled loudly. He instinctively reached for it, only to find his right hand was gone.

That’s when he remembered: his right hand had been bitten off by a Deep Sea Cannibal while he was saving someone.

It’s difficult enough for an ordinary person to accept a sudden disability, let alone a former prodigy like Sylas Sawyer.

The woman saw the dejection and despair in his eyes. "Do you remember the owner of The Card Tavern?" she asked.

"This Noah’s Ark we’re on now? It belongs to her. And it’s a five-star item."

"A five-star item!" Sylas Sawyer couldn’t help but chuckle. "If the players who quit early knew that someone used a five-star item to save everyone after they left, they’d probably die of regret."

It was only the fifteenth day of the game, but given the circumstances, it was highly likely that all the players and NPCs on the ship would make it to the end, barring any unforeseen disasters.

"True, but that’s not what I’m getting at," she said. "I was thinking... maybe the owner has a way to restore your hand."

Hearing her words, Sylas Sawyer froze as if struck by lightning, staring at her in disbelief.

"Anson, is that really true?" Sylas Sawyer asked, as if trying to confirm it for himself as much as for her.

Seeing the cloud of despair vanish from Sylas Sawyer’s eyes, Dawn Anson nodded earnestly. "If there’s anyone in this world who can help you, it has to be the owner of The Card Tavern."

Evidently, Sylas Sawyer agreed. He struggled to get up, intending to find the owner, but Dawn Anson stopped him.

She reasoned that his severe injuries hadn’t healed yet, and he was still too weak.

"Besides, it’s already late," she added. "The owner needs to rest, too."

That reason was enough to make Sylas Sawyer stop struggling.

Meanwhile, Perry Yates was already aware of their conversation.

’Seriously, how can those two be so sure I have a way? How are they so certain!’

’All right, fine. I do have a way. In fact, I have more than one.’

’I’ll give you this, you’ve got good instincts.’

「The sixteenth day of the game.」

Rain began to fall from the sky again. What had been a light drizzle became a torrential downpour in the blink of an eye.

The moment the downpour began, a spherical shield materialized around Noah’s Ark, protecting everyone inside.

Everyone watched in amazement, filled with an inexplicable sense of security.

Today’s breakfast was a single steamed bun.

Of course, that was the breakfast for third-class ticket holders. Second-class passengers had several options to choose from, and they could eat their fill.

The breakfast for first-class passengers was even more lavish—a full buffet where you could pick whatever you wanted.

And if nothing on the buffet appealed, you could even order a la carte.

Additionally, treatment services were available for anyone who was injured.

This, of course, came at an extra cost. Not money, that is, but cards.

This policy was aimed primarily at players, since NPCs wouldn’t have been deliberately collecting so many cards.

However, most players chose to tough it out. The only exceptions were those so grievously injured they would die without treatment; they reluctantly paid the price. Everyone else, having found a safe haven, decided to endure their injuries.

One day hadn’t been enough to rescue everyone from Solara. So, starting in the morning, more people began to steadily board the ship.

Perry Yates wasn’t idle, either. She used her Water Lotus to explore below, constantly collecting any usable supplies she could find.

She would then salvage these supplies and have the rescued people help process them. They were idle, after all.

Better to give them something to do than let them sit around with idle hands and wandering minds.

Meanwhile, Perry’s senses told her that the number of Deep Sea Cannibals underwater was growing.

With so many players and NPCs taken aboard Noah’s Ark by Perry, the Deep Sea Cannibals were left without a food source. They began to frantically attack the surrounding buildings instead.

As building after building crashed into the water, the people on Noah’s Ark felt immensely grateful for their choice. Otherwise, they would have been fish food by now.

At this thought, they began to sort through their supplies with renewed urgency.

They had purchased third-class tickets. While this guaranteed them three meals a day, the portions were just enough to keep them from starving, and nothing more.

And with no telling how long the disaster would last, all they could do was stockpile as much food and supplies as they could.

After all, fighting was strictly forbidden on Noah’s Ark. Anyone caught would be thrown overboard.

Just this morning, a few punks who thought the rules didn’t apply to them tried to snatch food from some orphans. The next second, several mechanical tentacles shot out and threw the punks overboard.

They didn’t even have a chance to beg for mercy.

Someone started to condemn the act, only to receive a cold reply: "Keep complaining and you’ll be thrown off, too."

At that, the dissenters instantly fell silent.

Around noon, Perry Yates learned that Sylas Sawyer wanted to see her, so she sent out her Wood Clone.
