He wasn’t worried for nothing. Something that is recognized on earth as legally binding might have no effect even in the upper realm let alone the Immortal Realm.

"How about we find out if we can add a segment during the ceremony that carries the same effect as the oath those who entered the Soul Ring took?" Chu Hao asked suddenly.

Everyone turned to look at him and they were indeed tempted.

"But what if they are lured into a trap and do something they shouldn’t do? Won’t they be the ones affected?" Mother Chu asked.

She didn’t want a nooze around her daughter’s neck that would tighten because someone unrelated caused trouble.

"No, what if it affects those plotting against them?" Chu Hao asked mischievously.

"What do you mean?" Grandpa Chu asked eagerly.

He also wanted to help his granddaughter. But even though he had also recovered memories of his last life in the ancient world, he couldn’t remember any good method.

"I read a book in the library in the Soul Ring. Even though I wasn’t concentrating too much and only skimmed through, I saw something that could be useful. It is a kind of a curse that seemed different from typical curses. That’s why I took a longer look at the time. This curse when placed on people doesn’t hurt them but instead protects them. If someone tries to do something bad to those protected by the curse, they will suffer worse than death." Chu Hao explained as he tried to recall the details about the curse.

"Really? There is such a thing?" Mother Chu asked in surprise.

"Yeah. I remember reading the book while trying to learn more about the cultivation world, I thought it was ridiculous how it was called a curse instead of a protective charm." Chu Hao reassured.

"Then that will do. If someone dares to try to separate them, they can just wait to suffer." Chu Mo said with a laugh.

"Well, we have to ask the two people involved and see if they are willing to use this curse in their vows." Grandpa Chu said, pouring cold water on their enthusiasm.

However, the others didn’t take it seriously. They had ways to convince those two into agreeing if they said no.

When Ye Xuan returned to his apartment after his mission was completed, he felt the residual spiritual energy left behind by Chu Miao when she was entering the Soul Ring.

He was already very familiar with this kind of energy and was surprised that she came into his s house alone when he wasn’t around.

This was the first time she had done so since they got together. It made him immensely happy.

In fact, he wanted to marry her, but was worried that she was too young and wouldn’t agree. So, he had been putting it off.

Now that he saw she was willing to go to his house freely, he felt more reassured.

He had to marry her before they left earth.

His girl was too dazzling and once she found a better environment to cultivate, she will rise like a rocket.

He didn’t want others coveting what was his.

It was magical how Ye Xuan was thinking about the same thing as the Chu family.

Because of rule set and the dedication of Yang Leo and others who had been chosen to hold administrative and security duties, the sect was thriving and Chu Miao and the others didn’t have to worry about something going wrong.

Unless an important decision that could affect the entire sect was required, no one bothered them.

When Chu Miao left the Soul Ring after cultivating for over ten hours, Ye Xuan hadn’t been home for long.

He had just come out of the shower and was drying his hair with a towel when someone appeared on the sofa next to him.

Chu Miao had taken a shower in the Soul Ring and changed out of her dirty clothes.

Being so close without doing anything was basically torture for the two since their instincts were driven by the dual cultivation method they practiced.

Even though they had began learning to control their desires, it was still low level and the fact that they were in love with each other wasn’t helping much.

In times when they were alone and had time like now they didn’t need to force themselves to control their primal instincts.

So, in the next moment, the two were rolling on the large sofa making love like their life depended on it.

The only plus side to this situation was that while they were practicing dual cultivation, spiritual energy poured into their bodies like it was free.

Even a small cyclone formed above their heads yet neither of them seemed to notice.

They made love for more than two hours before they stopped from exhaustion.

However, their bodies recovered even faster.

Ye Xuan carried his girlfriend to the bathroom to clean up before laying her on the bed to rest.

He lay beside her and gathered her into his arms before closing his eyes in contentment.

"Sleep for a while." He said in a hoarse voice that made Chu Miao tremble.

This voice, it was the original sin. Just listening to it made her want to pounce on him again.

However, she was truly tired and drifted off to sleep in the next moment.

When Ye Xuan opened his eyes again, it was already morning of the next day.

It was surprising how they had slept through the night without stirring.

He left the bed and went to the bathroom to clean up before heading to the kitchen to make breakfast for his girlfriend.

As soon as Chu Miao woke up, she smelled something appetizing and couldn’t wait to eat.

Even though they were cultivators and had passed the stage where they would need food for sustenance, they still followed the mortal routine of eating three meals a day.

After cleaning herself up, Chu Miao changed her clothes into a comfortable homewear and left the bedroom.
