Awakening the Useless Class...But I am Secretly the Strongest!
Chapter 2: Broken TalentRyan stared at the screen for several seconds.
Then...
"What the fuck?"
"Isn’t this totally broken?"
His heart began racing.
He fully understood why the F-Rank Knight was considered the weakest class.
There were two main reasons.
First, the lower your class rank, the fewer stat points you gained whenever you leveled up.
An F-Rank class received only 1 stat point per level.
An E-Rank class received 2.
A D-Rank received 3, and the number continued to increase with each higher rank.
Second, the Knight class started with only two basic passive skills—
Basic Sword Mastery
Basic Shield Mastery
Compared to powerful classes that awakened with multiple high-level skills, the Knight class dealt very little damage and had almost no advantages.
It was no wonder people looked down on it.
But...
Ryan slowly looked back at the description of Perfect Loot.
A grin spread across his face.
"None of that matters anymore."
"If I can loot stats, skills, bloodlines... and even talents..."
"Then who’s going to stop me from becoming the strongest?"
For the first time since arriving in this world, Ryan smiled with genuine excitement.
His future was no longer limited by his class.
With Perfect Loot, every enemy he defeated would become another step toward absolute power.
"Even with the once-per-day limit, I can become unbelievably strong if I use this talent on boss monsters."
Ryan smiled.
"And I already have the perfect target."
The original Ryan had planned to enter the Skeleton Paradise dungeon to obtain Knight-compatible skills. Since the dungeon was filled with skeleton-type monsters, there was a chance of obtaining Knight skills after defeating them.
The boss of the dungeon was the Skeleton King, and the original Ryan had hoped to gain a powerful Knight skill from it.
Unfortunately, he never even made it inside.
No one was willing to let an F-Rank Knight join their party, and he was too afraid to challenge the dungeon alone.
"That’s a problem."
Ryan looked at his status screen.
"With my current stats, I can probably defeat wandering skeletons and Skeleton Warriors."
"But the Skeleton King is completely out of my league."
He rubbed his chin.
"It looks like I’ll have to use my talent on other monsters first. Preferably monsters that are difficult to kill but give a huge amount of stats."
Ryan opened the Origin Tower’s online forum and began searching for low-level monsters that were difficult to defeat or could be killed using special tactics.
"Hmm?"
A video suddenly caught his attention.
Level 1 Kills Level 60 Orcs! Easy Cheese Method!
Ryan clicked on it.
A young man appeared on the screen with a cheerful smile.
"Hello, guys! It’s your favorite Level 1 Cheeser back with another guide for beginners."
"And ignore my level. I’ve done this on Level 1 many times before."
Ryan continued watching.
"Today we’re in the Orc Land dungeon, located in New Dawn City. It’s a Tier-0 dungeon designed for players between Levels 1 and 100."
"New Dawn City?"
Ryan raised an eyebrow.
"That’s the neighboring city."
The man pointed behind him.
"For this strategy, you’ll need one thing."
He took out a bottle filled with blue liquid.
"Ogre blood."
"Orcs absolutely hate Ogres. The moment they smell this stuff, they’ll chase it without thinking."
He entered the dungeon and soon located a group of Orc Scouts.
Instead of attacking them, he quietly followed them until they reached a large Orc village.
"Now that we’ve found the village, it’s time to prepare the trap."
He walked to an open field and started digging.
After creating a massive pit, he lined the bottom with dozens of sharp wooden spikes made from nearby trees.
"If you’ve got money, you can just buy iron spike traps instead."
After that, he carefully covered the pit with branches and grass until it looked exactly like normal ground.
Then he took out a giant balloon shaped like an Ogre.
Ryan blinked.
"...Seriously?"
The YouTuber laughed.
"Yeah, I know. A lot of people ask who even makes these things."
He placed the balloon directly over the hidden pit before smearing Ogre blood all over it.
Then he walked back toward the Orc village, leaving small drops of Ogre blood along the way.
At the entrance, he poured Ogre blood over an axe and threw it at the Orc guards.
Without waiting to see if it hit, he turned around and ran.
"Whether the axe lands or not doesn’t matter."
"As long as they smell Ogre blood, every Orc in the village will rush over here."
"This gives you about five minutes to hide."
"If you’re Level 1, I highly recommend buying speed potions or anything that helps you run faster."
The YouTuber hid inside a nearby bush.
"One more important thing."
"You must stay within one hundred meters of the trap. If you’re farther away, the Origin Tower won’t count the kills as yours."
Ryan nodded.
"Good to know."
A few moments later...
Loud roars echoed throughout the forest.
The ground began to shake.
Hundreds of Orcs carrying axes, clubs, and spears rushed out of the village.
The moment they spotted the Ogre balloon...
They charged without hesitation.
"They’re powerful warriors..."
"...but they’re also incredibly dumb."
The YouTuber chuckled.
More than eighty percent of the Orcs stepped onto the disguised pit and instantly fell inside.
The air filled with painful screams.
Most of the Orcs died immediately after being impaled on the spikes.
"Now don’t come out for at least thirty minutes."
"Orcs have very tough bodies. Some of them might survive the fall."
"And trust me..."
"One slap from a wounded Level 60 Orc is enough to kill a Level 1 player."
Half an hour later, the surviving Orcs had finally left.
The YouTuber climbed down into the pit.
"As you can see..."
"We just killed nineteen Orcs."
"Their bodies won’t sell for much because of the damage, but you can still collect their weapons, tusks, and bones."
"Necromancers especially love buying Orc bones."
He waved at the camera.
"That’s today’s cheese strategy."
"Don’t forget to like and follow the channel."
The video ended.
Ryan leaned back in his chair.
"Level 60 Orcs..."
A smile slowly spread across his face.
"Their stats should be far higher than ordinary monsters."
"If I use Perfect Loot on one of them..."
"I’ll gain a ridiculous amount of stats."
"Looks like I’ve found my first target."
Satisfied with his plan, Ryan turned off the screen.
It was already midnight.
He lay down on the bed and quickly fell asleep.
