Xu Ran struggled to stand up, feeling the terrifying force of the Master of Nothingness, which was beyond his imagination. But he could not fall; he must take Qinghan away!

He suddenly looked up, gazing at the pitch-black crack and the icy cold eyes.

"Master of Nothingness, you won’t succeed!" Xu Ran roared defiantly.

He knew the Restricted Area was completely exposed and no longer safe. He must carry the hope of Fire, with Xu Qinghan, and rush out of this ancient land shrouded in darkness!

He picked up Xu Qinghan once more, charging towards the outskirts of the Restricted Area, where the only path to life lay!

"Chase! Don’t let them escape!" The voice of the Master of Nothingness echoed through the Restricted Area as the Pioneer soared skyward, leading countless Fallen and Void Hunters in pursuit of Xu Ran.

With a punch, Xu Ran unleashed the Power of Fire as a golden torrent, vaporizing several blocking Void Hunters and purifying the surrounding corroded space. Yet more Fallen surged like tides, their eyes gleaming with hatred and greed for the Fire.

"Master of Nothingness, you are delusional!" Xu Ran roared, his voice vibrating throughout the Restricted Area with unyielding determination. He moved like lightning, dodging dense attacks precariously, every counterattack packed with immense force. He knew the Master’s will had descended, its unimaginable power threatening to crush them at any moment.

He must race against time and escape this ancient land thoroughly polluted by void!

At the edge of the Restricted Area, twisted mountains spread like remains gnawed by beasts, emitting the scent of decay and death. Xu Ran, clutching Xu Qinghan, leaped onto a collapsing peak, debris falling into the Abyss. He looked back as the dark crack continued to writhe at the center of the Restricted Area, emitting a cold pressure that made one’s Divine Soul tremble.

"Chase! Leave none alive!" The voice of the Master of Nothingness echoed again, filled with endless killing intent. The Pioneer followed closely, its huge body rampaging through the Restricted Area, cracking the earth and collapsing the void where it passed. Wounded by Xu Ran, it was now furiously berserk, determined to utterly annihilate the Fire Ignition and Fire Guardian.

Xu Ran pushed his speed to the limit, gathering the Power of Fire in his legs, every step seeming to transcend the boundaries of space. He knew he couldn’t be entangled; once locked by the will of the Master of Nothingness, even if he returned, he wouldn’t escape death.

He burst through the edge of the Restricted Area, the sight before him clear, no longer the deathly silent place shrouded by void. Yet, the outside world was not peaceful.

This was a vast and desolate Star Domain, stars dim, cosmic dust pervasive, as if abandoned for ages. Occasionally, broken starship wrecks floated by, telling the tale of past glory and present decay.

"Is this... the Ancient Starry Battlefield?" Xu Ran’s brow furrowed. He had heard that in ancient eras, this was the main battlefield where the cosmos first clashed with the Master of Nothingness; countless stars fell, countless civilizations perished.

He dared not stop, carrying Xu Qinghan, transforming into a golden stream of light, speeding towards the depths of the Star Domain. He must find a safe haven, awaken Xu Qinghan, and stabilize the Ancient God’s Fire within her.

However, the pursuit by the Master of Nothingness did not cease.

In the void, pitch-black cracks appeared out of thin air, from which swarms of Void Hunters and Fallen emerged like locusts, pouncing towards Xu Ran. Clutching Xu Qinghan, he abruptly turned, the Power of Fire boiled inside him, transforming into golden blades slashing at the pursuing forces.

"Fire... Burn the Void!" he growled, a blazing golden flame erupted from his palm, instantly devouring dozens of Void Hunters, their bodies twisting and wailing in the flames, eventually turning to nothingness.

This was the first time since Fire returned that Xu Ran actively employed its power. He found the Fire inside him not only purified void but fused with his once-mastered Cosmic Law to generate new power.

Yet, the number of pursuers was too vast, endless and ceaseless. Even as powerful as Xu Ran was, he couldn’t face such a massive void army alone while protecting Xu Qinghan.

Feeling the consumption of Fire within him and the lingering pain from the unpurified void power, Xu Ran knew he would be exhausted if this continued.

"Must... make a breakthrough!"

His eyes scanned around, seeking a sliver of survival. In this broad Ancient Starry Battlefield, aside from debris and deathly silence, there seemed to be nothing else.

Just then, Xu Ran’s gaze suddenly fixed. In the distant depths of the Star Domain, a dim star emitted faint light. Though weak, the light carried an ancient and resilient aura, contrasting sharply with the surrounding deathly silence.

"That’s... the aura of Fire!" Xu Ran’s heart trembled. He sensed the faint thumping of Fire on that star, weak but truly present.

He hesitated no longer, quickly changing direction and rushing towards that star. There, perhaps lay the only hope!

"No escape!" The Pioneer roared deafeningly, sensing Xu Ran’s intent; it accelerated ferociously, surrounded by pitch-black lightning, tearing through the void in pursuit.

Xu Ran pushed his speed to the utmost, holding Xu Qinghan, carving a golden trajectory through the cosmos, pursued by endless void forces, and ahead, that distant hopeful star.

This was a race against time, an escape.

He could feel the Pioneer’s cold killing intent and the Master of Nothingness’ will locking in, like an invisible net closing around him.

"Qinghan... hold on!" he murmured softly, knowing Xu Qinghan’s Ancient God’s Fire was strong, but she was in her first fusion and overwhelmed by the immense consumption from Fire Ignition, currently at her most vulnerable. He must protect her—she is the hope of Fire, the future of the cosmos.
