Chapter 423: Chapter 423: Battle Conclusion
A few moments ago when Ved summoned the Gate of Nihility. The eye hanging in the sky shook.
It was as if it had seen the most terrifying thing but neither Ved nor anybody else noticed.
Outside of reality in the deepest part of the void, a creature of endless size and endless might slumbered.
This creature was formless yet had every form, it was the embodiment of nothingness and silence, it was the endless void.
Currently two people with might unmeasured were facing this incomprehensible creature.
They used reality itself to bind it and send it to slumber returning everything to silence but the silence was broken.
The creature awoke, it opened its eyes that were no eyes and sent it gaze piercing through the bounds of reality.
The gods guardian the borders of reality felt their souls silver, they tried to communicate but only silence reigned.
They felt their very divinities being silenced and not one dared to move lest they make a sound and disturb the ancient silence.
Suddenly it moved forcing the couple to exert more effort to put it back to sleep but eventually they succeeded.
" That boy of yours, what has he brought upon himself now." The man asked but the woman didn’t know what to say.
She had seen things clearer than the other party through her eye of creation and what she had seen was a terror beyond anything.
Then both shifted their gaze to the very centre of all reality, there sat a tree whose canopy was endless.
The tree had pure golden leaves and pitch black roots, on its roots lay a creature akin to a dragon but it was made of wood.
Those roots connected to the endless dunes of shadows where all souls sought solace.
However they stretched beyond that to a realm even she couldn’t see, a realm neither of them could.
The realm of primal chaos that preceded all things there were are and ever will be. A realm of dread even for them, the origins.
This tree connected to such a place had stood still for countless years but this time it moved, even the dragon on its roots raised its head.
" I’ll be back." She teleported leaving him holding the chains of reality to bind the eternal void.

Back to Naledi’s World of Stasis
Nobody could move, not even Adrian, if he was at full power. He might’ve been able to resist using any of his supreme laws.
However he had just sacrificed a piece of his soul and was currently having his soul and body disintegrating.
The others were different, to resist a supreme law you’d need either a divinity, another supreme law or a higher comprehension than her.
Not just higher but significantly higher, meaning unless one was a divinity, nobody besides Ved could move in her world of statis and comprehension realm.
That was especially true since she also used her divinity which was further enhanced by her crown on divinity to activate the ability.
What Ved did not know was deep inside her soul there were two liquid drops, one gold the one deep purple.
The gold liquid dropped in volume when she used world of statis. Naledi ignored everything she lunged at him.
Her eyes were clouded with panic and fear, she could see him being destroyed rapidly even in her world of stasis.
Even though the process slowed down when she stopped time, it didn’t stop completely.
Ved’s law avatar was working overtime sending so many drops of life origin they basically formed a river.
His regeneration was rendered utterly useless, even with all of his means of survival.
His body didn’t stop disintegrating, Naledi reached him and reached out to grab him but found her body unable to move.
This terrified her even more, she struggled with all of her might to reach him but it was as if she was held by the hand of God.
’ Calm down child, don’t touch him or you’ll be in the same state. Do not worry, I will not let my child perish, not here.’
She received a soft voice of a woman in her head, Naledi couldn’t explain why but that voice made her calm.
She found herself trusting it. Inside Ved’s soul, the soul space which contained his entire being was crumbling.
He was trying to mend it but even his soul itself was falling apart. Suddenly he heard footsteps.
He saw a woman with black and white hair walking towards him. Her eyes were also black and white.
Her right eye was a swirling mass of pure white while the left was a swirling mass of pure darkness.
The woman smiled gently at him then reached out and gently grabbed his soul, he felt a wave of energy flowing inside him.
The crumbling soul stopped then started regenerating but the process was slow which made the woman frown.
" It’s more terrifying than I could’ve ever imagined, you were lucky you merely saw a glimpse of the primal chaos.
Otherwise even I would not be able to save you." The woman touched his soul with a gently touch.
Ved looked into her eyes and all he saw was pain and love as well as guilt. " Who are you?" He asked warily.
The wariness in his voice seemed to hurt her even more. She leaned in and before he could react she kissed his forehead.
" I’m sorry, I’m so very sorry, I need to go, take care of yourself, I can’t keep saving you forever and try not to use that ability again.
However if you do, never and I mean never look through the gate, you’re not ready to see what lies beyond."
Before Ved could say anything she was gone. Outside, Naledi saw his body healing and sighed with relief.
She wiped the tears on her face then faced the fallen frozen in her world. She could maintain world of statis for nearly 5 seconds now.
While it doesn’t sound like a lot, to people who can move at dozens the speed of light, that was a lot of time.
Naledi raised her vessel sword, the law of dominance and the law of sword merged together.
" Soul blade: Spirit severance." She swung the blade and multiple faint swords appeared around her.
They short towards the fallen like missiles, the blades ignored their physical bodies and directly pierced their souls.
They all died instantly including their leader, while the soul blade was powerful and completely ignored durability.
It had one major weakness, it was extremely slow, moving at only half the speed of light, even the weakest comprehension realm can dodge them.
As such, she can only use it when the target is immobilised.
