Chapter 424: Chapter 424: War Begins
Ved had lost consciousness and he was not aware of what’s happening outside. Naledi and the others were ejected out of the dimensional space.
When they reappeared they found sovereigns waiting for them anxiously, the beast sovereigns looked around anxiously.
When they saw Ved they sighed with relief, they even forgot about their descendents who might’ve died in there.
In fact, 40 percent of those who went in did not come out, the fallen were able to circumvent the laws of the sovereigns.
Using the authority of their masters, they were able to permanently kill the competitors.
This shook the families and friends of those who died and they started blaming the sovereigns for being able to stop this.
Of course the universe was ran but strength, even though they put the blame on the sovereigns, they could only mumble their grievances to themselves.
Anglomesh summoned the other sovereigns watching over the other 101 stages and told them what had happened.
Only to learn the same thing happened there and the situation was even worse than here on most of them.
While the stage on Pangera lost nearly 40 percent, some states lost more than 70 and the worst lost 84 percent of the competitors.
This naturally devastated those watching over that stage but the blow wasn’t too huge, the most promising descendants of the sovereigns survived.
While this made the sovereigns relieved, that was not the case for others. Parents had lost their children.
People had lost their siblings and they had been promised by the sovereigns they those people would be fine.
Dissatisfactions sprouted across the entire universe. The sovereigns had no choice but to try and explain.
This seemed to calm thing down a little and an entire month went by, the fallen were nowhere to be seen now.
Somewhere in a young universe, space ripped itself and woman appeared out of the rift.
The woman had lost an arm and she looked pale, dreads made of bones fell down to her back.
She coughed up blood, " Damn them, damn that bitch, what kind of ability what even that?
Freezing time? Attacking the soul directly, how can such abilities be possessed by one person.
I need to report this to my lord, that woman is too big a threat, she needs to be elimated alongside that dragon.
Those two are just unreasonably powerful, damnit." This was the fallen leader who had fought Naledi and Ved.
She had split her own soul a while after that battle started and hid this piece a bit further away.
Fortunately she did that or she would’ve died like the others. The bone hair behind her lashed out in front of her like whips.
It stabbed into space and opened a rift to a realm of darkness and silence where the void reigned.
This was the fallen universe beyond the gate of Pangera. She went through and disappeared.
With her wounded soul, her senses were impeded and she didn’t notice somebody watching her.
An elemental lifeform was hiding in the void of space hundreds of light years away watching her.
This elemental was a rank 7 earth elemental which is one of the reasons it was able to hide by disguising itself as an asteroid.
It immediately took off and flew towards the nearest gate, fortunately for it, there gate was connected to one of the top 102 universes.
It reported what it heard to the leaders of that universe and they contacted the other leaders of the other universes.
That fallen woman surviving was not an issue, the fallen definitely knew about the young talent of the heavens.
The issue was that she was able to go to another universe and open a spatial crack from that universe to the fallen universe.
This realisation made them all grim, if the fallen universe can connect to any other universe.
Then it could easily attack from any side rendering all their preparations on Pangera meaningless.
Anglomesh sighed, " The only thing we can do is prepare for war, I’m afraid we might not have the liberty of conducting the tournament."
This made the other sovereigns frown, " So what should we do? We all know without uniting the universes.
We cannot give birth to a God and without a God we cannot dream to even fight against the fallen universe."
A worm like creature as large as a solar system spoke. Flamel looked at him then grinned.
" What’s there to worry about? We just duke it out, that was the plan in the first place." Her words made the others frown.
Their universe had both her and Anglomesh who was a demigod, there was no way any of them could compete.
" Sitting here won’t change anything, we need a plan and we need to know where they’ll strike first." Fenral spoke.
" Can’t lord Anglomesh contact one of the Gods and ask them for help? Only a God can defeat another God after all."
That suggestion came from Elena but Anglomesh shook his massive head. " I did, it’s bad.
Not long ago, one of those monsters woke up with its army, the Gods cannot leave the borders of the multiverse.
From what I was told, they might even be lacking in numbers, unfortunately they can’t receive reinforcement from anywhere.
Dealing with this God is up to us alone, at least it’s the lowest level of a God, if it was a Great God or God king, I’m afraid..."
He didn’t dare finish his statement but they all understood, just that thing being a God alone was enough to pour cold water into their hearts.
If it was a higher ranked God, they might as well just give up and let themselves be devoured.
Resistance would’ve been meaningless to begin with. The sovereigns continued their discussion for days.

While that was happening, in the universe that the fallen woman had appeared, a space crack appeared.
Through it a feminine hand pulled through and pulled the space apart. Not far away, an asteroid was floating in space.
Suddenly it sensed this change and shot out like a comet at the speed beyond that of light.
Suddenly a bone whip shot out through the space rift and bound the asteroid before it could get far.
" Where do you think you’re going you rat?"
