Well calling it delicious would not exactly be accurate but it was at least edible. " Your cooking is improving."
He complimented her making her beam with a smile. It wasn’t long before others including white arrived.
Most of his friends and Naledi’s friends who were still alive also showed up looking worried about him.
Ved was touched, " Have you heard what the next plans will be?" He asked but Naledi shook her heard.
" However I think the tournament might be cancelled, the sovereigns looked quite anxious, something huge must’ve happened."
He nodded, " It’s probably related to those guys we faced and I have to admit, they were quite strong."
The others listened and when they were done talking the questions followed, they enquired about what had happened in there.
Naledi explained everything making everybody’s face turn grim. " Do you think the war might be sped up?" Cathra asked.
Naledi nodded, " We might need to go to war at any moment so it would be best if we prepare ourselves for it.
I’ve called the dragon army, Ved will talk to Fenral to ensure we at least operate close to each other to watch each other’s backs."
Ved didn’t argue even though she completely decided that by herself, after that the conversation changed.
Cathra started asking about when do they intend to have children, both just looked at her like she was crazy.
Realising everybody was giving her weird looks she pouted until she saw Nimue looking just as eager.
The two women started talking to each other leaving the rest of them alone. " We need to know what’s happening."
He suggested and everybody nodded, " Yeah but it’s not that easy, it’s not like those sovereigns would tell us anything." Aira answered.
" It’s fine, I’ll look for Fenral, he should tell me what’s happening." Ved answered making the others sigh with envy.
Being the king of beasts seems to have its own perks. A few days passed, Ved was still recuperating.
Sudden news reached them, apparently a sovereign from the second ranked universe went to challenge a herald of hope and fallen sovereigns.
Of the 15 fallen sovereigns it is said he took down eight but he was forced to retreat in defeat by the interference of the herald.
When everybody heard who it was they were not impressed but angry instead, instead of reporting and requesting help.
He arrogantly went to challenge a herald and not just any herald but one of hope and lost, that alone would not be an issue.
But he lost an entire universe in the process thus weakening the number of singularities available.
This would weaken heaven as a whole, Anglomesh went directly to the second universe to admonish Azathon.
Even his father didn’t dare argue with Anglomesh especially considering the failure of his son.
Before anybody could fully digest the news more bad news came. The void beings as well as the fallen launched an attack.
The issue was, they somehow managed to open paths into different universes and attacked from all sides.
By calculations, it was obvious their direction was heading towards Pangera, probably for the gate on former earth.
They didn’t understand why this gate was so important but it did lead to the fallen universe where a god waited.
The sovereigns launched a counter offense, three months after the battle on all fronts started Ved and the others were deployed.
More specifically Ved and Naledi but they were given the leeway to chose their own allies for the mission.
And their mission was simple, while the sovereigns and creation realm experts fought on the front lines.
They were to sneak past them to the centre of the universe and steal the singularity under the noses of the enemies.
The mission was much harder than they made it sound but Ved and Naledi agreed, they were to move within a month.
During that time they had to chose their allies for mission. " Who should we pick?" Naledi asked.
Ved shrugged, " Probably those with stealth type abilities, that means loud ones like White and Cat are out, oh they’ll be pissed.
I can’t take Traxy either, she’s the exact opposite of Stealth, Alya’s space vessel could be useful.
Fern illusion abilities can be useful too, Haruko and Siri are good too, Haruko’s sword makes him incredibly fast.
Siri has that mouse pet of hers with its space stomach and ability to burrow through space like it’s walls.
I think that’s all, bringing in too many would be detrimental, the point is stealth which means I need to upgrade my stealth trait.
I didn’t think I would need it anymore, I wish I could upgrade formless shift too but comprehending the law on intangibility is incredibly hard."
Ved had tried to copy Naledi and comprehend the law of intangibility but it contradicted his nature.
As a dragon he was a physical type of creature, intangibility requires one who’s more soul attuned like Naledi.
Even though he comprehended it, it’s barely 1,4 percent, not enough to be useful at all.
" Should we go hunting then?" She asked, she knew he needed evolution points to upgrade his traits.
He shook his head, " We don’t really have much time, I’ll ask Fenral for a creation realm demonic beast corpse or rather alien race corpse.
Those spiritual alien races give more evolution points than demonic beasts anyways.
Then I’ll spend the rest of the month getting my invisibility law up to par, unlike intangibility, it’s not that hard to comprehend."
She nodded and watched him leave.

Somewhere in Pangera, a young man with dark skin and short hair was running through a forest.
Behind him was a giant bear 40 metres tall, each of its steps shook the ground and uprooted the trees.
" Ahhhhhh!" The young man screamed loudly as he ran with all of his might. A coin gleamed on his pockets.
The bear suddenly tripped on its feet, " Owww." The bear whimpered like a dog in confusion then fell on its face.
The ground shook and cracked, the crack spread to the boys feet and he fell through, " Huh?" He looked down.
"AHHHHHH!" He screamed and fell into the crack, the bear stood up and looked down at the crack.
But no matter how much he looked, the boy was not there, the weird thing was that the crack was less than 10 metres deep.
The boy in question opened his eyes and looked around. " Where the hell am I? Am I in heaven? Must be, otherwise why would I be looking at such a colourful sun?"
He told himself with a sad yet relieved smiled, ’ Finally, my pain has ended.’ he found himself crying with relief.
