Chapter 446: Chapter 446: Favour From A Sovereign

Elena was also exhausted, not because she had to teleport thousands of worlds filled with life.

As a sovereign, she could teleport a dozen galaxies without as much as a sweat, it’s everything else that strained her.

She had to maintain the conditions necessary to hold life in those worlds and not the change the situation.

This involved countless abilities she didn’t have meaning sje had to brute force everything with her will.

The will of a sovereign was so strong it can change reality to a certain extent and that’s exactly what she had to do.

One, she needed to keep the worlds speeding with the same speed as before which was easy.

Then she had to provide the right amount of solar rays the world used to receive meaning simulating the exact conditions they had around their star.

This involved using either the solar law or the light law, neither of which she had, not to mention the fact that each world was different.

They revolved around different stars, each star giving unique rays and she needed to individually simulate each of them.

It was mentally exhausting, " You kids wait here, I need to rest." She told them and disappeared.

Adrian suddenly found himself standing in a palace floating in space above the continent of Elena’s universe.

" It was wasn’t it?" She asked, Adrian was confused, for a moment he thought might’ve did something wrong.

" A while back I made the mistake of falling asleep, quite ridiculous isn’t it, a sovereign making such a stupid mistake.

A subordinates of the Nameless of Nightmares took advantage of that, I’m not sure if it was a herald or prince.

Anyways, I was going to fall to it, I couldn’t resist at all, in the dream realm it had stripped away all of my power.

Had I fallen, it would’ve taken over my body and wreaked havoc on my home, I don’t think I would’ve been able to bear the guild."

She looked down at the continent below with tender eyes like a mother watching her own children.

Considering she was billions of years old, everybody there was young enough to be her child except a few other sovereigns around her age.

She continued, " Just as I was about to fall, I felt a gentle aura surround my body, I knew I was in a dream.

I might’ve lost all of my power but my will was my own and a will of a sovereign was not a joke.

I felt the aura and swore I would repay that favour to whoever had saved me. I recognised that same aura when you used your law of dreams so i ask again, was it you?"

Ved bowed, " I’m not sure if I understand but I do recall saving the dreams of a little girl once but that couldn’t have been you my lady, that little girl was too cute and naive."

Elena blushed, " Anyways, I always keep my promises so tell me your wish?" She waited with her hands behind her back.

Adrian towered behind her like a mountain yet he felt as small as an ant in front of this ancient woman.

" Child, it’s best you speak fast, there’s a war going on." Ved thought deeply and realised he had no idea.

It’s not that he didn’t have any desires but they weren’t something she can give him so he opened his mouth.

" I wish for you to take care of Naledi and make her as strong as possible."

" Make another wish, not that one" She suggested, Adrian was caught by surprise and his immediate thoughts was that she didn’t want to.

She seemed to realise he misunderstood her. " Do not be mistaken boy, I had ever intentions of training that little girl to the peak of her power.

The potential you two hold are beyond the imagination of anybody, why do you think Anglomesh prefers strengthening your universe over his own?"

That answer suprised him, now that he thought about it, Anglomesh did put more focus on Pangera.

" He believes the two of you hold the long lost key to Godhood, he doesn’t think he has a chance, but you do.

Frankly, I stand with the old dragon on that, we old fossils cannot save heaven, that duty will be left to you.

The most we can do is delay the situation long enough for you to grow, why do you think this was us being conducted as such.

We’re not the only ones, the void is brewing new warriors too, the theory is, they’re born to fight the two of you meaning even the void recognises your threat, that’s good news for us."

Ved did not believe any of that but if they believed it, that was their business. There was no way the void would care about a weakling like him.

" Then my lady, I would like your help finding something like this." Three golden drops appeared in front of him.

These were the divine fragments of the beast kings key, Ved lacked only the last one to complete the key.

He now knew in the inheritance this key opened, they was his crown and according to Manas, something else.

Something that held significantly more significance than the crown. Elena looked at the three golden drops.

" Divine artefacts, you seem to have a lot of those." She looked at the wings of Garuda on his back.

" These feel like fragments of some divine artefact, what is it, a key?" With a single glance she was able to find a lot of information about the fragments.

" It seems to be missing one last fragment, I’ll see what I can do, where did you find this?" She asked.

" They were left by the ancient beast king, I found some and the other was given to me by the beast sovereigns of my world."

She nodded, " Left by the beast king huh? Anglomesh and Flamel should know more about that than I, I’ll tell you when I find it."

He nodded and before he could say anything else he found himself back where the others were.

Back in Elana’s palace, another figure appeared looking confused then saw her and bowed.

" My lady." This new figure gritted with a deep bow.

" What an interesting vessel you have there little one, how do you feel about becoming my student?"
