His palm strike does nothing, he senses this after the second strike, rather than wasting his energy trying to hurt the creature with his own strength, he increases the penetrating force in it’s body.

He glares at the beetle, ignoring that his body was turning into ash as he moves, he crawls towards it.
He felt pain much worse than this, as long as his soul is unaffected, he doesn’t care about the pain in his body.

Grabbing the shell, he starts to absorb the life force of his enemy, he focuses hard to filter the remnant power of the heavenly tribulation from the life force, still, he absorbed some a couple of times.
The beetle didn’t feel anything at first, it was focusing on repairing itself, trying to regain it’s connection to it’s hive.
Time trickles by, suddenly, it senses something and it forces it’s eyes to open and sees it’s enemy absorbing it’s energy with a manic expression.
Sean was forcefully breaking his body, then, recovering, this process repeated multiple times.
The power coursing through his veins made him a bit crazed, this is the only way for him to cope up the pain.
Some of the energy are sent to his weapons, it might not be able to recover Bai and the others combat power quickly but it can give them a boost.
The energy he’s giving them is neutral, if it’s elemental that is suited for them, their recovery would had been much faster.
"Hahaha! I’m back!" He roars as he grabs one of the chunks of flesh that’s present in the open and starts eating them.
He might not be able to break it’s shell but now that some of it are broken, he can start feasting.
’Danger!’ His expression changes and teleports.

A sharp cut appears on the body of the beetle but strangely, it wasn’t lethal.
A humanoid creature with blades for hands appears out of the hole.
"Another True Innate!?" He was shaken.
This time, he’s going to face a True Innate that hasn’t been struck by a heavenly punishment.
It might not be able to use it’s full strength since it would be expelled to the void but it is still something an Innate can’t hope to contend to.
Taking out Bai, he unleash his entire strength.

The entire world seems to be engulfed by a sea of blood and gore.
The image of a demonic deity appears above Sean, Bai, who look like a normal sword becomes red.

’Hold it back!’ He knows that the heavenly punishment doesn’t descend twice in a single day, it requires too much power but once something has broken a world’s limit once again, it would appear.
He’ll just push this creature to it’s limit, once it goes beyond what this world can hold, it would definitely die.
It’s not something like the beetle, who’s existence seems to be created to counter a world’s defense, this creature is purely offense.
"I gott-" His body moves before he can form another thought.
A piece of land was cut in an instant, looking at the valley besides him.
He start sweating, that was fast! So fast that even his eyes were unable to follow the movements.

Taking a deep breath, he increases his own reaction speed, taking a step forward, the sea of blood around him churn and on his feet was a diagram of yin and yang.

It’s been some time since he used this move, this just show just how much danger he’s currently in.
His body moves and he slashes towards the creature, dodging it’s strike while dishing out his own.
The creature was surprised, it didn’t expect it’s target to dodge it’s attack once again.
This time, it was serious, it’s mission is too important to play around with such an opponent.
A barrage of slashes appears in front of Sean.
He realizes that he can’t dodge these attacks using his speed.

The mantisman raises it’s blade and blocks his attack.
’Tsk! As expected of a True Innate, it was able to sense the spatial fluctuations.’
The mantisman slashes but Sean’s body transforms into flame, he returns back to normal after the blade passes through his body but his face is pale.
He thrusts his blade forward but was easily blocked and his hand wielding the blade was cut off.
BANG!
He kicks the mantis before grabbing his hand putting it back together in one swift move.
The mantisman was already in attack but when it’s blade slashes at him, he spins and dodges the attack.
It was confused, it feels like it’s attack was slower than before and it can’t use it’s full strength.
This is the reason why Sean had taken the fight into an incredibly close quarter, to either force the enemy to attack while it’s still winding it’s attack.
Effectively cutting off half of the power of it’s attack, with such long blades, it can’t use it’s entire strength with such distance.
Unlike this mantisman, he was proficient in extremely close combat fight.
The sword he’s wielding is actually just a mere distraction, his true attacks are his elbows, fists, and knees.
He raises his hand, as if he’s going to slash down, the mantisman uses this opportunity to try and stab him on his heart.
He let it stab him in his chest, shifting his muscle to redirect the strike away from his heart while he brought down his elbow.

He twist his body, causing the blade embedded in his chest to cut his hand, he then shifts his body and slices his opponent’s face.

The mantisman is actually much more tougher than it looks.
’You are built for killing and one on one battle, too bad that you’re facing me!’ The sharp blade that can slice through even the incredibly thick shell of the beetle wasn’t useful against someone like Sean who can recover instantly.
His blade is only effective to those that are afraid and doesn’t have enough reaction time to dodge lethal attacks.
He can’t let his opponent get some distance, he also can’t use Redirection with how fast his opponent is moving.
Right now, what he’s using is basically a state of future sight.
Precognition, move before his enemy can, prediction is always in the resume of master martial artists, his is only more absurd, with Flow State, he basically has the ability to see through his opponent’s move and intent.
’More smooth! Much faster!’ His move becomes more gentler and yet his attacks has become much faster.
The entire around them is now full of slash marks, even a hill that’s a distance from them has a hole on the center of it.
The attack was sent by one of the mantisman skill, a sharp stab that even bore through a hole in Sean’s body, if it weren’t for his ability to continue fighting even in such a state, the next decapitation attack would had cut his neck off.
The mantisman is unaware that it’s opponent was using it’s strike to harm it’s own teammate, preventing the two of them from ganking him.
Not only that, Sean’s body is full of energy, with the remnant power of the heavenly punishment and the flesh he had eaten from the beetle, he can continue fighting without exhausting his energy from regeneration.
The mantisman retreats and slashes at him, it was too sudden, Bai had to use it’s reserve to push him out of danger.
He teleports besides the mantisman but it quickly retreats, he flashes next to it using his fastest speed but still can’t escape having his hand and foot being cut off.
A thread of blood pulls his limbs back as he elbows the creature in it’s chest.
’It adapted! It realizes that it can’t defeat me in such close quarters.’
The only thing that’s keeping the mantisman in check is his domain but he can’t always keep it active.
He needs to prevent it from escaping his grasp.
The mantisman’s fighting style might be simple but because of this why it’s deadly.
You don’t need any other attack if your attacks can kill your opponent in an instant.
Sean is an abnormal being, no one would expect to encounter someone like him.
The entire looks like it was slashed a thousand times by a giant sword, there are no longer trees that stands tall nor hills and mountains intact, all of them were sliced by the mantisman.
The two had actually entered a stalemate, one was trying to keep his opponent nearby while the other was attacking while trying to retreat.
Sean was having a hard time, his domain is weighing heavily for his soul.
He can’t keep it active but his opponent has already adapted to his fighting style, if his domain becomes inactive, this creature will obtain an opportunity to might be able to kill him.
’I need to push it harder but it seems that it’s much harder than expected.’ His opponent is sharper than he expected.
It knew how to keep it’s strength in check so that it won’t invite the attention of the will of this world.
’If only Wuk is here, he’s the perfect counter for this creature.’ He thought.
Burning Sun!
His body was set ablaze as he elbows the face of the mantisman, he wouldn’t let it escape, stomping on it’s foot, he grabs it’s shoulder and tries to lock him with his grappling but it’s swing was too fast for him to obtain a chance.
