Bizarre Voyage: Summoning The Fourth Crisis
Chapter 76: Anchoring Exile IslandStoryteller’s lore analysis video spread like wildfire across the Spirit Candle Forum and a popular video-sharing site, quickly attracting a large following from the latter.
What new game is this Storyteller playing?
They were all immensely curious.
Meanwhile, players on the Spirit Candle Forum began their own discussions and speculations.
Poems and the Faraway Place: "There are also some books in the bedroom behind the Law Knight’s fortress about the Gulard Law and personnel records from Exile Island."
Storyteller immediately replied to Faraway’s comment.
"Got it. I’ll go take a look after I defeat the Law Knight."
Brother Miao Won’t Fail the Exam: "Great analysis, Storyteller! Love it, please post more!"
Battle Bliss: "So that’s what happened! I was wondering why it suddenly stopped right when the fight was getting good. It’s all that damned Rotting Prisoner’s fault. So underhanded!"
My hamster’s name is Guagua: "So between Gulard and the Master of Storms, who’s the good guy?"
Iced Lemon Tea: "Silly Guagua, there’s no such thing as pure good or evil. To us players, aren’t they all just monsters? @My hamster’s name is Guagua"
My hamster’s name is Guagua: "Lemon Tea, you’re being mean to me! (pouting)"
I do Bull’s Push-ups: "Who cares about Knights and Prisoners? I don’t get any of it. Bros, I found a brand new way to cheese the game, hehe. You wanna know?"
Bees don’t like flying: "Spit it out! And send lewds while you’re at it!"
Time to Eat Mushrooms: "Looking at it that way, the Law Knight is pretty unlucky... But I don’t think that Rotting thing was a nerf. You could even say it was a buff."
Crafty Frog: "It’s hard to say. From a gameplay perspective, the difficulty has definitely increased for us. But from a lore perspective, this is most likely not a good thing."
Brother Aotian: "Enough said. Should any of you find yourselves in peril, I will naturally intervene and suppress all foes."
The moment Brother Aotian appeared, a horde from the "Ao Family Army" swarmed in as if drawn by the scent, flooding the replies under his comment.
This Throne Suppresses All Foes: "Still addicted to this PowerPoint game? I’ve got a new one for you, wanna check it out?"
This Old Daoist Suppresses All Foes: "Blessings of the Infinite Celestial... Fellow Daoist, addiction to games is ill-advised. It is best to turn back from this path soon."
This Old Monk Suppresses All Foes: "Amitabha. Though this game is but an illusion, it is not without its merits. How virtuous, how virtuous..."

[Spirit Candle]
[Tier: Embers]
[Remaining Wax Oil: 4138]
[Spirit Candle Building: Spirit Fire Port (Tier One), Sin Furnace (Buildable, costs 1000 Wax Oil)]
[Anchored Islands: Candle Island (Small Isolated Island)]
[Anchorable Islands: Exile Island (requires 2000 Wax Oil)]
[Summoned Candle Spirits: 127]
After posting the announcement, Luo Ge reviewed the Spirit Candle’s status.
’First, I’ll anchor Exile Island.’
’Then I’ll build the Sin Furnace.’
He thought to himself.
Originally, he had planned to build the Sin Furnace directly on Candle Island.
But with more and more players spending their time on Exile Island, he decided to build it elsewhere.
After all, the players on Exile Island had a much greater need for the Sin Furnace at the moment.
’Candle Island can just serve as the starter zone.’
At this thought, Luo Ge’s figure vanished from in front of the Spirit Candle.
He reappeared at the peak of Exile Island, before the Spirit Candle in front of the fortress.
Because Luo Ge had forced his way into this area, his Wax Oil rapidly began to drain.
[2000 Wax Oil has been consumed.]
[Anchoring Island...]
Slowly drawing a wick from the Candlefire, Luo Ge violently plunged it into the ground!
BOOM—
In an instant, an azure Candlefire swept down from the peak, blanketing the entire island with extreme speed.
At that moment, the entirety of Exile Island shone like a lit candle, banishing the surrounding darkness.
[Island anchored successfully!]
[Anchored Islands: Exile Island (Medium Isolated Island)]
[Exile Island is now illuminated. Monsters on the island have had their stats reduced. Wax Oil can also be consumed to completely banish them.]
[The coastal waters of Exile Island are now open. Exploration is possible once requirements are met.]
[First-time anchoring of a medium-sized island: Building: Spirit Fire Port (Tier Two) unlocked. Upgrade costs 1500 Wax Oil.]
[You can build all unlocked Tier One buildings on the new island.]
[Anchoring Reward Obtained: Demon Summoner’s Notes x1]
The burning wick finally transformed into an azure flower of flame before gradually fading away.
Just before it vanished, it materialized into an ancient, tattered journal that fell into Luo Ge’s hands.
The feeling of rejection from the surroundings finally dissipated.
Luo Ge casually flipped through the journal, a thoughtful expression on his face, before putting it away.
’There’s a lot of content in here, and it’s not something I can digest in one go. For now, I should finish what I came here to do.’
After anchoring the island, Luo Ge went to the outer perimeter, to Exile Peak.
It was nighttime in the game. He had already posted the maintenance announcement on the Spirit Candle Forum, and most of the players were currently at work.
The surrounding sea was a profound, dark blue, and the edge of the darkness had receded far into the distance.
Somewhere out there, Candle Island was now connected to Exile Island; the passage formed by the Gray Mist was gone.
Of course, this didn’t mean that players could no longer access the solo instance of Exile Island.
When anchoring the island, Luo Ge had used the Spirit Candle’s power to connect the Gray Mist to the Milestone Spirit Candle.
However, this required players to be physically on the now-anchored Exile Island to work.
Because strictly speaking, what he had anchored was merely one version of Exile Island from within the chaotic space.
’Hopefully, promoting the Spirit Candle will unlock a teleportation ability for the Candle Spirits.’
Luo Ge thought to himself as he glanced in the direction of Candle Island.
He himself could teleport freely via the Spirit Candle, but the players couldn’t do so yet.
As Luo Ge anchored more islands in the future, the distances between them would naturally grow. Relying solely on the Spirit Fire Raft to travel would clearly be far too time-consuming.
Besides, in Luo Ge’s opinion, the primary purpose of the Spirit Fire Raft was perhaps not transportation at all...
