Seoha’s POV

I’m shaking so hard.

He’s right here in the Hwangyeon yard. I knew he’d come but finally seeing him is...surreal.

My alpha barrels through the crowd like he’s too big for the world. He is. My Kang Taesan is too big for the world.

"Don’t you dare faint in this pretty outfit because of a man" my grandma says in my ear and I nod. She’s doing her best to hold me up.

Her words sound menacing but I can hear the smile in her voice.

"I won’t faint" I lie.

I’m barely holding myself up.

With every step Taesan takes down the aisle, everything evaporates. All I see is his cleanshaven jaw, his dark eyes, and his powerful movements.

He’s without his cane and each step he takes looks painful, yet he doesn’t stop till he’s right in front of me.

"I’m sorry I’m late. They wanted me to change my clothes" he says, voice low and thick.

I don’t care that he’s late.

He’s here.

"I wanted to change too...but I couldn’t go through with it. I wanted to see you" he says.

And in the crowd, I hear Sooin’s small voice yelling; "That’s my dad and my mom"

I choke back a sob, and he takes my face in his hand.

His beautiful fox-like eyes bounce from my left eye to the right one with devotion. He’s looking at me like a man who has been searching a cave for that one piece of diamond.

"Little thief...you can keep it all. You can keep my heart, keep my card, keep my daughter...but you have to swear you’ll let me keep you" he says and I nod.

I’ll let him keep me. Where else can I possibly go?

"That’s enough. You two can talk rubbish poetry after the vows, I’m old and my back is aching" my grandma says, pulling me away from Taesan.

"Let them kiss with tongue!" Jisu yells, and I turn my head in time to see her holding up her phone.

Operation Jisu not embarrassing me has failed.

"I’m so proud of you, baby" grandma whispers and she leads me to the middle.

The ceremony starts and I don’t hear a single word. My eyes and brain are fixed on Taesan’s handsome face. The bad-tempered alpha watches me with intensity too and his jaw ticks with impatience.

His distracted eyes fall to my exposed stomach a lot. His Adam’s apple bobs a lot, and he sniffles like he’s doing his best to hold back tears.

"You may kiss your..." the crowd explodes with cheers and Taesan descends on me.

The alpha holds the back of my neck with one hand, holds my lower back with the other hand, and he kisses me with passion.

His lips against mine feel like paradise. Kissing him has always felt this way, but today it feels more beautiful.

We’re now married.

"Take off your clothes while you’re at it, heathens!" I hear Minjae’s voice call from the audience, and I laugh against the alpha’s mouth.

"I love you. Shin Seoha, I fucking love you. Do you hear me? You mean the world to me" he says, leaving two more pecks on my lips before letting go of me.

"You can gobble him up later, pretend to be normal in public" grandma says with a playful glare and Taesan smiles.

Yes. Kang Taesan, the scary and cold CEO of Mountain Atelier, smiles at my grandma so hard that his eyes almost disappear.

"Dad! Mom!" Sooin squeals.

Taesan sees the glint in her eyes, and his own eyes shine in response to her.

Oh goddess, he really loves this little girl.

My eyes water as he squats in pain. The alpha opens his arms and wears a wide smile on his face for her.

Our daughter, who is dressed in a cute white dress, runs into his arm with a giggle.

"Dad!" she squeals, wrapping her arms around him, and pressing her face into his neck.

"Dad, I took care of mom. I told mom not to cry too" she says and I wipe my nose with the napkin.

"You did a good job, princess. You’re the best big sister" Taesan says, kissing her on the forehead.

The two start to talk, and someone pulls my arm.

"I go away for a few days and you’re suddenly a hottie?" Minjae asks with a scowl and I hug him.

"Minnie" I say into his neck and he pats my back.

"I’m so mad at you. I was here before this man showed up, but you didn’t even see me" he says and I let out a watery laugh.

"Love is blind" I say and his jaw drops.

"Wow...you’ve learnt well from me, you’re my junior student in sassiness" Minjae says.

"I’m older than you" I mutter, earning a big eye roll from him.

We both stop talking for a few seconds. We just stare at each other lovingly, and suddenly a stray tear slides down Minjae’s cheek.

"Don’t cry" I say in a broken tone, and he wipes his face, glaring at me like I asked the tear to drop.

"I’m so proud of you. You did far better than everyone ever imagined" he says, taking my hands and kissing them.

I know what he’s talking about.

He’s talking about my aunt and her family. He’s talking about Daeshin. He’s taking about every humiliation I suffered for being a male omega in a messed-up world.

"You too, Minjae-ya. You’re doing amazing" I say softly.

"Yes, I’m doing amazing. You should see how much milk I pump out!" he says suddenly.

"Oppa, TMI" Jisu yells from behind us. The young lady makes a face ’shut up’ at the image of Minjae’s words.

"I’ll be here for you when you’re ready to have pups" Minjae says with confidence and Jisu sticks her tongue out before running off.

I turn around to look for my alpha and my daughter.

Hwang Haeri too is busy caging Sooin in a bear hug, and Taesan is talking with clan members.

The people he’s talking with are Yujun, Jaehyun, Yeon mom, Lord Hwang, Yuki, Taerin noona and Junho.

I can’t wait for them to finish up and return my mate to me.

My mate who is now my husband.
