Silence returned to the chamber as Solaris looked at Eliana with considerably more interest than before, throughout all her years she had never heard something as unreasonable as an S-rank being capable of defeating several SS-ranks, there had been cases where an S-rank could fight against an SS-rank by relying on powerful Relics or some special technique, but defeating several SS-ranks was an entirely different matter, even now Solaris found it difficult to accept such a statement without questioning it.
The reason she couldn’t simply believe Eliana’s words was mainly because of the difference between the amount of Spirit an S-rank and an SS-rank could possess, an SS-rank had around ten times the amount of Spirit that an ordinary S-rank could contain, and even if Solaris accepted the possibility that Eliana’s Disciple was an abnormal S-rank who somehow possessed an unusually large amount of Spirit, there was still another problem that couldn’t be ignored, an SS-rank possessed something known as a Domain.
It wasn’t a complete Domain like the one an SSS-rank could form, but an SS-rank could still create their own Domain and fight within it while gaining various advantages from the environment they had created, depending on the Individual’s abilities, the Domain could also restrict the opponent and make escaping or fighting back extremely difficult, so even if an S-rank possessed enough power to match an SS-rank directly, there was still the question of how they could deal with the Domain itself.

The moment Eliana finished speaking, Solaris became completely stunned again, her eyes widened as she stared at Eliana, the location alone was enough to surprise her after everything they had just discussed, especially because the Holy Church of Eluminad had already been mentioned during their conversation about the strange Monsters and their attacks, yet Eliana was now telling her that her own Disciple was currently there.
Eliana didn’t immediately continue speaking, she simply watched Solaris’s reaction for a moment before allowing her to process the information, then she finally spoke again with a slight smile.
"You may be wondering why he is there, and why he is currently standing at the death’s door, right? Haha, to tell you the truth, he is there because I sent him there to prepare the exact plan I had already decided on, a plan meant to ensure that the entire Elven Continent remains safe even if something unexpected happens, such as thousands of those strange Monsters attacking at the same time."
Solaris slowly nodded after hearing the explanation, she had already understood that Eliana wasn’t simply mentioning her Disciple for the sake of boasting about his strength, there was an actual reason behind his presence in the Holy Church of Eluminad, and that reason was connected to the strange Monsters that had already attacked several Continents.
"Hmm, then how is this preparation plan of yours supposed to work? Elaborate more," Solaris asked, her expression becoming composed again as she waited for the explanation.
Eliana smiled slightly at her reaction, Solaris had already received too many unexpected pieces of information one after another during this conversation, so perhaps she had become used to Eliana having an explanation ready for every strange thing she revealed.
"To start with, my Disciple knows something called Formation, which is created through Runes, there are different types of Formations, each with different functions, but the one we will be using for this particular plan is a Teleportation Formation," Eliana explained, her tone becoming more serious as she moved toward the actual purpose of the preparation.
"I and my Disciple drew a massive Formation around the entire Elven Continent just yesterday, and once it is activated, it will detect those strange Monsters through their signature, specifically that strange substance mixed within their Spirit Energy, then it will teleport them directly toward another designated Formation that has already been prepared elsewhere."
Eliana’s explanation made the purpose of the plan relatively simple, if those strange Monsters appeared inside the Elven Continent again, they wouldn’t have to fight every single one of them directly, the Formation would detect the unusual substance within their bodies and immediately transfer them toward another location, allowing the Elves to avoid a situation where thousands of Monsters could spread throughout their cities and cause damage before they could be dealt with.
Yet Solaris still didn’t look completely convinced, not because she doubted Eliana’s explanation, but because there was one part of it that she couldn’t understand.
Formation.
She had never heard of such a thing before.
Solaris obviously knew about Runes, she knew that Runes could store and manipulate Spirit Energy when properly constructed, but Eliana was describing something that seemed to use Runes in an entirely different manner, something capable of detecting a specific signature and even manipulating space enough to teleport an entire army of Monsters from one location to another.
What exactly was a Formation? And how was something drawn on something supposed to teleport those Monsters somewhere else?
More importantly, why would they even need to teleport those Monsters instead of simply killing them when they appeared? Solaris had several questions in her mind now, and none of them could be answered simply by knowing that Eliana’s disciple had created some kind of Formation.
"If you are wondering what a Formation is then..." Eliana paused as she waved her hand, causing a piece of paper to materialize slightly above the table before slowly descending onto its surface, Solaris immediately shifted her attention toward it and noticed several strange circular structures drawn across the paper, with different lines connecting the circles together in a pattern she had never seen before.
’Is this what she meant by a Formation?’
Solaris continued staring at the drawing for a moment, trying to understand how something so simple could possibly be responsible for teleportation or any other kind of special function, ’There is no trace of Spirit Energy inside it, but something seems to be functioning through these lines...could it be using Atmospheric Spirit Energy?’
Her curiosity eventually made her activate her Ability, allowing her to inspect the Formation more carefully and search for the source of whatever power was making it function, at first she found nothing unusual apart from the fact that Eliana herself had created the paper and the drawing moments ago, but then she noticed something connected to the Formation that made her expression change slightly.
’This...it’s directly connected with the ambient Spirit Energy in the atmosphere?’
