Chapter 191: Chapter 191: Trump Card?

Inside the grand command center of the Zenith Vanguard flagship, Emperor Neo Godson sat perfectly relaxed upon his throne.

His abyssal eyes gazed through the massive crystal viewport.

The scale of the Rebel Alliance’s defenses was visually overwhelming.

They were literally throwing everything they had into the void to block his path.

He could see countless retrofitted dreadnoughts and hollowed-out cargo ships packed tightly together.

Neo saw the desperate, terrified faces of humans, elves, dwarves, and beastkins pressed against the glass of their doomed vessels. Hundreds of titanic flagship carriers floated right behind the meat shield blockade, overflowing with tens of thousands of rogue Beyonders.

Surrounding them all was a chaotic, buzzing swarm of millions of mechas, their pilots at the ready.

Strictly by the numbers, the rebel coalition possessed a force numbering in the billions. They outnumbered the Zenith Empire almost 100 to 1.

However, looking out at the impossible odds, not a single Zenith soldier felt an ounce of fear.

The 15 million troops aboard the armada stood tall with unshakable bravery. This courage stemmed entirely from one singular truth: their Emperor was present.

He was an absolutely unbeatable leader who could effortlessly warp the outcome of any war just by sitting quietly on the battlefield.

Noir laughed at the sight.

"It is a tragically beautiful sight, darling. They brought billions of bodies, completely ignorant of the fact that quantity means absolutely nothing against supreme quality."

Zestia matched Noir’s energy.

"I heard the Eximious Domain existed peacefully for centuries. They had all the time in the cosmos to advance their technology and evolve their Beyonders. Yet, their strongest mechas look like fragile toys compared to our standard frontline infantry armor."

Dr. Clark leaned over the console, shaking his head in sheer pity.

"They do not understand our Emperor. They do not comprehend his absolute divinity."

The true foundation of the Zenith Empire’s supreme dominance was not built on time or numbers. It was built entirely upon Neo’s Supreme Unique Talent, [Universal Synthesis].

With a single thought, Neo possessed the absolute ability to merge items, technologies, and even raw energy, evolving them instantly beyond their natural limitations.

While the Eximious scientists spent centuries trying to optimize basic plasma reactors, Neo simply synthesized hundreds of dreadnoughts to create the LORD-class starships. While the rebels trained for decades to awaken as Beyonders, Neo synthesized Beyonder Potions, granting them swift access to an array of cosmic powers.

Both Zenith technology and Zenith Beyonders existed on a completely different dimensional plane compared to anything the Eximious Domain could ever dream of creating.

Neo rested his chin on his knuckles, his expression entirely apathetic.

"This is so disappointing. I thought this would be a little more challenging. But what could I expect from some weak-willed fools?

They brought the fragile elves, half-sized dwarves, and some desperately hungry children, hoping to build a wall of flesh thick enough to stop the demise of their pretense. It is an incredibly pathetic display of their limitless greed for power."

General Vael, who was permitted to stand on the command deck to witness the outcome, grew incredibly pale as he gazed at the billions of lives hovering in the void.

"Your Imperial Majesty, will you use the Sunfire Judgment Blade again?"

Neo slowly shook his head.

"No. That would be a grave injustice to those who were dragged into this entirely against their will. We will give them a chance to surrender. I may be a conqueror, but I am not a tyrant."

Vael looked at him in absolute awe.

"Thank you for your magnanimity, Your Highness. You are a true ruler."

Neo’s gaze turned as cold as stone.

"Noir. Zestia. Elena. Deploy the Vanguard. Let our fifteen million swallow their billions. Show them the true terror of the Zenith Empire. Bring me the heads of those arrogant World Kings."

"By your absolute will, Emperor!" the three women shouted together in perfect unison.

As Noir, Zestia, and Elena turned on their heels and marched out of the command center to lead the invasion, Neo lazily rested his chin on his knuckles.

He then addressed Ghost, the ship AI.

"Ghost, fire the Void Cannon. I need you to shatter their center formation. Let them witness the absolute futility of their resistance before our soldiers even board their ships."

Materializing itself as a holographic skull, Ghost replied,

"As you wish, Master!"

"Charging Void Cannon-5: 1%... 5%... 16%... 56%..."

Instantly, the colossal LORD-1 starship vibrated as its massive Stellar Reactor increased its energy output.

At the very front of the flagship, a gigantic circular array of ancient runic metal slowly unfolded.

However, instead of gathering blinding light, the weapon began to aggressively swallow the starlight around it.

At the muzzle, a sphere of concentrated dark energy condensed.

Across the battlefield, the automated sensors of the rebel fleet screamed in panic.

But there was absolutely no time for them to react.

The Void Cannon fired.

Buzzz!

A silent beam of pure, concentrated spatial collapse shot straight through the freezing vacuum.

Displaying terrifying, pinpoint precision, the dark beam seamlessly bypassed the outer layers of the civilian cargo vessels and struck the very heart of the Freedom Alliance’s heavy military dreadnoughts.

The impact did not create a traditional fiery explosion. Instead, it triggered a massive, annihilative black hole.

BUZZZZZZ!

For several miles in every direction, the gravitational pull violently warped the fabric of reality.

Thousands of rebel dreadnoughts were instantly dragged into the inescapable event horizon.

They were crushed like fragile metal boxes.

Then, as the localized black hole destabilized, the compressed cosmic energy violently rebounded outward.

Absolute mayhem erupted across the void.

The shockwave of dark energy and jagged scrap metal swept through the rebel blockade for miles.

As a result, more and more dreadnoughts were destroyed in its path.

"By the Mother, what was that?"

"No idea, sir."

"But the gravitational shockwave just ripped the supply ships apart. Our targeting systems are completely fried, and we cannot even see them!"

"SHIT! This is absolute madness! We are not fighting an empire. We are fighting the abyss itself! Shut down the plasma cores! Cut the weapon feeds right now! If they fire that dark cannon again, we will all be swallowed into nothingness!"

"B-but King Ode ordered us to hold the line!"

"Fuck King Ode! He is a delusional fool! Look out your viewport! The iron wall is broken! They did not just destroy our ships, they completely erased the very space we were occupying! I ain’t fuckin’ sacrificing my crew for a dead alliance. Bastards, drop the shields!"

Their morale was crumbling from the very start.

But would they really be defeated just as easily?

No. The trump card is yet to be revealed.
