"So what if it’s revenge? Even if it is, I’m just giving back to him what he did to me!" Julie Sampton suddenly raised her voice, "Bright Sampton, some pains don’t pierce your body, so you have no right to speak of forgiveness for others! You think I’m taking revenge, then it is revenge! I also have enough reason to take revenge on him, don’t I?"
"Bright Sampton, the world isn’t as perfect as you think, where everything can be taken care of!" After shouting at Bright Sampton, Julie Sampton looked at his expression and finally sighed, "I asked my lawyer last night, given the current situation, he would get a sentence of three to five years at most, so whether we put in manpower and effort, the result is the same."
"Since it’s the same result, then why don’t we make it look better? Make people believe us more?" Julie Sampton asked Bright Sampton.
"But what if the situation gets worse in a few days?" Bright Sampton asked tightly.
"Well, let me ask you, if the situation worsens, is it useful for you to put in manpower, effort, and money? How many connections do you have? How much energy do you have? Lastly, do you have money?" Julie Sampton sneered, "You left the Sampton Family, did he give you any money?"
In order to start a home stay with Jane Sampson, Bright Sampton didn’t have operating funds and could only sell his sports car.
Bright Sampton had no money.
All he had left were the immovable properties his grandparents left him after their passing.
These things were left to him by his grandparents, and he couldn’t bear to sell them even without funds for the home stay.
And, in the short term, they cannot be quickly cashed in.
"Without relying on your Sister Jane, without relying on Jane Sampson’s connections in the Black Family and the Carter Family, Bright Sampton, where can you find connections to change those established results? If you rely on Jane Sampson, you are pushing her to the edge of the cliff, where a breath can blow her off the land."
"Bright, I know you’re still very young, you haven’t experienced real staggering pain, so you don’t understand and don’t know how to think deeply, but Bright, with the Sampton Family gone, you should have grown up already. You say you want to protect your Sister Jane, then you should be supporting a world for Jane Sampson, not still hiding under the umbrella she holds up for you, shouting, sister, when I grow up I’ll protect you!"
After saying this, Julie Sampton answered Jane Sampson’s call.
"Sorry, I was a bit busy just now and wasn’t able to answer the phone." Julie Sampton didn’t mention Bright Sampton was with her, "Are you calling for something?"
"Not much, just wanted to arrange to meet and chat." Jane Sampson asked, "Do you have time?"
"I do." Julie Sampson responded quite briskly.
"There are a lot of reporters outside now, if you don’t mind, how about we meet at the Black Residence in two hours? In the evening we can have a meal at the Black Residence, I’ll cook, and bring Bright along." Jane Sampson asked tentatively, also wanting to know if Julie Sampton and Bright Sampson had fallen out.
"I have no issue with that, as for Bright, you’ll have to ask him yourself." Julie Sampson replied.
"He’s just a bit quick-tempered, it flares up and quickly settles down, I’ll call him over, he’ll surely come!" Jane Sampson cheerfully arranged a time with Julie Sampson and then hung up to call Bright Sampson.
When Bright Sampton’s mobile phone rang, Julie Sampton stood with her arms crossed leaning against the door panel watching whether Bright Sampson would answer the call.
Seeing Bright Sampson hesitate for a second before answering the mobile phone, Julie Sampson quietly said, "At least you’re still a person."
