Chapter 211: Chapter 211: Win Him Over
"Chainsaw Man is a Devil. Though I suppose ordinary humans like you wouldn’t know about him."
Yoru did not explain in much detail. "Anyway, that human boy named Kotone Asaba is Chainsaw Man. I never expected Chainsaw Man to be capable of taking human form, but I would never forget what he looks like."
The War Devil was now convinced that Kotone Asaba was Chainsaw Man.
She did not explain to Asa exactly what kind of being Chainsaw Man was. Perhaps she simply could not be bothered to explain everything.
Asa still did not understand. All she knew was that Chainsaw Man was some kind of Devil.
But how could Asaba be a Devil? He clearly looked like a normal human, just like her.
The War Devil probably meant that Asaba had formed a contract with Chainsaw Man.
Afterward, Asa fell backward onto her bed. So much had happened today, and she felt exhausted.
"Going to sleep early is a good idea. You’ll have more energy for school tomorrow."
Yoru lay down on the bed beside Asa.
Since "Chainsaw Man" was one of Asa’s classmates, Yoru naturally wanted Asa to interact with him as much as possible so she could win "Chainsaw Man" over.
"You know, Asa, you really do like that guy. Your feelings have even affected me quite a bit," Yoru suddenly remarked.
She could clearly sense that she had developed affection for Kotone Asaba.
However, since he was "Chainsaw Man," her affection for him was not yet strong enough to overpower her desire for revenge.
"...I don’t know what you’re talking about."
Asa was naturally too embarrassed to admit it.
"Stop trying to hide it. I’m you now, and you’re me," Yoru said calmly. "No matter what you’re thinking or what kind of feelings you have for someone, I know all of it."
"Doesn’t that mean I have no privacy at all?"
Asa felt both embarrassed and deeply frustrated. She had been possessed by the War Devil out of nowhere, and now she had absolutely no privacy in front of her.
"That is true, but I’m not interested in your private life. There’s no reason for you to care about it," Yoru said.
"You can’t just say you don’t care and expect that to make it fine! What will it take for you to leave my body?"
Asa tried to negotiate with the War Devil.
"Obviously, I’ll leave after accomplishing my objective. As for what that objective is, I need to win Chainsaw Man over and make him fall in love with me. Or you could say I need him to fall in love with you. It’s that simple. Understand?"
Yoru had enough cunning not to reveal everything to Asa, such as what she intended to do to "Chainsaw Man" after successfully winning him over.
Asa liked that guy very much. Were she to learn the whole truth, she would undoubtedly resist.
Yoru already lacked absolute control over Asa’s body. If Asa actively fought against her, accomplishing her objective would become even more difficult.
"W-W-Wait, what did you just say?!"
Asa immediately became agitated upon hearing Yoru’s words, her face turning bright red.
"You’re unbelievably innocent. You’re like some hopelessly lovestruck high school girl. We’re only making him fall in love with you. Do you really need to get this worked up?"
Since the two of them shared their emotions, Yoru spoke with obvious exasperation.
