"Right. Asking an idiot like you is basically pointless."
Kotone Asaba shook his head slightly.
"Huh?!"
Yoru immediately reacted.
She even took control of Asa’s body on the spot and protested directly to Kotone, "Who are you calling an idiot? I’m not an idiot!"
"Yeah, yeah. You’re not an idiot. I get it."
Kotone couldn’t be bothered to argue with Yoru, especially when he didn’t have time for it right now.
Only then did Yoru let the matter drop, giving a small huff of annoyance.
A little while later, however, Kotone unexpectedly ran into Fami while walking through the school.
Was it a coincidence?
It wasn’t even close to dinnertime yet...
With that question in mind, Kotone asked, "Did you need something?"
"Have you come up with a plan yet?"
Fami asked in her usual almost emotionless tone.
"I’m planning to ask the Future Devil about the situation first, though I’m not sure that really counts as a plan."
Kotone replied.
The moment she heard that, Fami said, "I’m coming too."
"You’re coming too...?"
"Is that a problem?"
"Not really... Fine. Come along if you want."
Kotone’s first reaction was simply that bringing the Famine Devil into Tokyo Public Safety felt a little strange.
But after thinking about it, there really wasn’t much of an issue. Makima could already come and go from Tokyo Public Safety whenever she pleased, and in any case, Kotone would be there with Fami.
