Blood spurted out like a fountain from the necks of the three elders as Valen appeared within their midst like a ghost.

The atmosphere trembled and quaked as their auras clashed and pressed down upon Valen.

His surroundings immediately felt like liquid sludge as even movement became a chore.

This wasn’t a mere release of their aura. They had access to their laws, something Valen and the others did not. So right now, they weren’t just releasing their auras; they were actively manipulating the laws to affect the surroundings around Valen, and they were succeeding, until...

"AT THIS RATE, YOU’LL TIRE OUT BEFORE YOU CAN LAY ANY SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE ON ME!!!"

BOOOOOMMMM!!!

Their figures clashed once more as their carnage continued.

Elsewhere.

"DIE!!!!" Both Raven and Magnus clashed in a catastrophic impact as they arrived at a stalemate.

Their gazes locked:

Pitch black against Cerulean blue.

BOOM! BOOM!!!

They collided. Again and again. Neither willing to give an inch.

"Ravena! Stop this foolishness!!" Magnus roared as a claw tore the space apart, threatening to rip out Raven’s guts.

The space around her midsection solidified as the attack landed, and then...

A claw burning with violent purple flames carved through Magnus’ face.

"Urrggg...." The man groaned as he was sent flying back.

She didn’t relent. Space folded around her figure as she appeared behind Magnus, claws primed for blood, but...

WOOOSHHHH!!!!

A blue-scaled tail slammed into her side, sending her flying.

"You wish to see the destruction of your own family!?" Magnus roared as his mouth opened and an overwhelming amount of energy began gathering within.

Raven remained silent, unwilling to offer any response as her jaws stretched, spatial energy condensing within, and then...

ROOOOOOOARRRRRRRRRR!!!

Both figures released a thunderous roar that shook the battlefield, their attacks launching straight for each other as they cut through the dark skies.

One cerulean blue. The other purple-black.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!

Their collision was such that even distant battles were being affected.

The already ruined landscape suffering significantly more damage.

"RAVENA!!!!!"

Magnus screamed in rage as Raven’s blast tore through his own, slamming into him.

He was launched across the battlefield, with Raven still hot on his tail. She wasn’t smiling. Wasn’t talking. All she wanted now... was blood.

In another part of the chaotic battlefield, an interesting confrontation was unfolding.

There were no massive explosions, at least not yet. The opposing parties were still at a standstill.

"Saintess, you should stop this foolishness." The Pope of the Church of Ataraxia spoke up.

The Church hadn’t joined the coalition because they wanted Dante dead.

Well... they did.

But that wasn’t why the Pope had come.

The Pope had suddenly lost contact with the Divine Realm three days ago.

He had tried contacting Lord Kaelel, but nothing. Even the other Seraphs he had access to, none were responding. It was like the Divine Realm had closed its gates off to their worshippers.

An uneasy feeling began rising in his gut. And when he heard that the Drakens were preparing a coalition against the spawn of Regulus, something had told him to participate. A gut feeling. And he decided to trust it.

Only to realize three days later that the very man he had sent Joshua and Kael, with the backing of Lord Kaelel, to hunt in the abyss was still alive. Alive and very much dangerous, as even now, he could still feel the rising tension in the air. That monster was losing patience. And he was losing it fast.

So, he made his move. Not against Dante, he wasn’t that foolish. He made his move against...

"Elizabeth. You need to come with us now!" His face was hard. Something was wrong. He didn’t know what. But the fact that he had lost all access to the Divine Realm made a very bad feeling well up from within.

"I will not." Elizabeth’s cold voice shut down his thoughts.

"FOOLISHNESS!!! When will you stop this useless tantrum of yours??" The Pope roared, agitated.

"Useless?" Elizabeth’s voice was cold.

"Useless? You call THIS useless??!!" Her hair began flaring as her pure white eyes began glowing.

"For years you have taught me. Fed me lies. Brainwashed me into believing I was to be the perfect tool. The perfect vessel. My family..." Her voice broke a little here. "My family, you killed after calling them heretics."

"You cursed me with this burden of never being loved. Never being touched. Never being allowed to get close to anyone, or they will die. You made my life a living cage, and now you call my thirst for freedom useless?"

"Saintess..."

"YOU WILL NOT CALL ME BY THAT FALSEHOOD!!!" Her roar tore through the air as her aura began climbing.

"Master rescued me from your clutches. Put you in your place. The only reason you still draw breath was the intervention of the others. And now here you stand, daring to command that I come back?" Her body began levitating higher and higher.

"I will not. I have found my peace. I have found my place. I have found solace. And I have also found..." Her head tilted upward as her eyes clashed with the twin suns in the sky. Somehow, she could tell that he was looking. She could feel his attention, even in his rage, she knew she had his attention locked on the clash about to unfold. Her smile widened, a beautifully crazed expression appearing on her face as she felt the comfort of someone watching over, ready to intervene. "I have found love. And now..."

Her attention returned to the members of the church down below. "I shall offer your heads to him as a token of my love. For your foolishness in daring to aid those who had taken my sister... You. Will. Die."

A moment of heavy silence fell as the members of the church and the Pope’s eyes widened in horror, yet before they could react...
